The lady was kind and patient with me- as it was my first time she took her time and did a fantastic job. She was conservative when it came to my eyebrow shape- I told her up front that I didn't want them too skinny and she really nailed them. If you've never been threaded before, it hurts but honestly it's no worse than a bikini wax. But unlike a wax you don't leave red, irritated and oily. I'll be back for sure. And eyebrows really ground your face so you want to go to someplace that you can trust. My nephew Leo, asked one of his friends for a recommendation because she has amazing eyebrows and she recommended All-Star eyebrows ready. She warned him to warn me that the area is a little sketchy, but your eyebrows will look amazing. I'm glad that I talked to him first before finding this place on Yelp because if I saw the outside, I would turn around in this case, I trusted my nephew's friend, and I sat in and waited my turn. Both chairs were occupied by women getting their eyebrows done by the time it was my turn. It only took two minutes and $12 later my eyebrows look so good in San Francisco. I would have to pay so much more for my eyebrows this good. I guess I found a new eyebrow place in Austin. You don't need to go to a fancy place, but a place where the outcome is going to be better than you thought is totally worth it.

I had been looking for a new place to get a facial because my last place was not living up to my expectations. I had stumbled upon Ann Marie Skin. What sold me was she does reiki facials!! I am a huge fan of reiki and also have been trained as a level one. I had given Ann Marie a quick text and find she had an opening that evening. Score!! I have since been back twice with another appointment on the books. I would recommend booking in advance as her schedule does book up. The location is a little odd but she had told me she had been there for years. Her esthetician room is comforting and relaxing. The pillows she uses are wonderful!
