Absolutely love this salon! I'm pretty picky when it comes to my hair. Met Cynthia a few years ago, at a different location, followed her to Salone di Essenza last year.I like the vibe here like 1000x more than the stuffy salon before. I can walk in, and be myself! So happy to be a patron here, great vibes all around! read more

Great salón, great service go see Dalia! She is a doll and will give you a lovely cut or color!!

I booked an appointment with David since he was a color specialist. My haircut was great but my color touch up was not. I asked if can blend the back while I was still there and he told me to rebook for highlights. I was there for four hours and he could not blend my hair while it was still my appointed time. Very dissatisfied. Will not be going again. I paid 230$ for THIS read more

Salone di Essenza - Color touch up and hair cut - Hair Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

I am EXTREMELY picky about my hair color, and over the years I have been so disappointed in my search for a Master Colorist who understands the need for beautiful hair that shows some "personality." Well, Lisa Christine is a rare find and truly a gem!! She listens, takes her time, and really does phenomenal work -- not to mention that the Kevin Murphy products they use here are spectacular. Also, you get a percentage off of your service just for checking in on Facebook :) All in all, you just won't find much better in Austin. I highly recommend!!!!!! read more

Salone di Essenza - Hair by Lisa Christine @ Salone di Essenza - Hair Salons Near Me - Austin, Texas

Heard great things about owner Lisa through a friend however she was booked out later than I wanted so chose Vickie who was available on the website. Vickie seemed nice, color was pretty good but hair butchered. I spoke to manager but because they are contracted independently I needed to speak to stylist Vickie directly. When I told Vickie what happened with hair and how my old stylist (who is all the way in Marble Falls now and drove just to have her try to salvage it but it was very bad) she became very angry and defensive. My layers were uneven and not blended and abnormally short. Face framing not existent but that's an easy fix. Hair looks thinner than it ever did. I didn't want Vickie to correct it for obvious reasons but simply to refund me just for the cut since color was fine. I've never asked for a refund for hair in my life and it was that bad that my old stylist said you should really ask for one. Vickie rejected the refund defensively after starting off apologetic. Thought the communication was good until she grew rude. Disclaimer: I wouldn't say not to go to this salon simply because I heard great things about manager/stylist LISA and wouldn't want to hurt her business but DO NOT go to stylist Vickie. Owner Lisa was very much apologetic and offered to do my hair or offer product compensation. Poor customer service from Vickie though and such a shame since I thought at first she was so sweet! read more

Michael Speck is AWESOME!!!! I started with Michael 20 years ago in Houston and was terribly upset when he moved to Seattle. Losing a good stylist is like losing your favorite shoes! They are just not replaceable! FINALLY MICHAEL IS BACK!!!!! What I love about him is that he truly listens to my wants and needs. He provides direction at my request so that his skills and imagination mixed with my hairs leaves me feeling so beautiful when I leave the salon. He's a very like-able, real, down to earth stylist! ATX is lucky to have Michael back!!! read more

BeBe is the best. Super cool, knew exactly what I wanted and not only made me look good, she cared about my dry hair so suggested a few things and gave me an awesome conditioning treatment. You get what you pay for and definitely won't disappoint. See you in a couple weeks, BeBe! read more

I have been living in Austin for 15 years and have never found a stylist i like. My hair has lots of challenges and no one has been able to tame it.. Until now! Michael styled my hair incredibly well. He took his time and contoured it to fit the way my hair lays naturally in addition to making it stylish. Even though he took off at least an inch my girlfriend didn't realize i had gotten a cut because Michael did such a great job. I have paid twice as much for a cut not half as nice. And he didn't try to sell me a bunch of product. Needless to say i will be patronizing this establishment for my styling needs. read more

I have been going here for over a year and have been to both Lisa and Alex. Both are very talented and give great customer service. The salon and staff are very professional. They always offer complimentary wine, sodas, tea, juice or coffee. I get my hair hilighted and cut every 4-5 weeks here. Recently, alex did the keratin infusion for me. I LOVE it! I am an attorney with 2 small children. My hair is ready in half the time and I get so many compliments. Keratin is like brazillian blow out without fermaldahide. Much more natural! I don't know what this other reviewer is talking about. Met Jennifer. She was ok....she even did my hair once, but nothing but class and pampering here.I'm thinking this Highland Park/ Dallas girl knows more than that whining hippi dude about where to go for great hair!!!! They are A+ in my book and I am a hard grader. read more

Ok....so, for most of my adult life (I'm 30) I have been platinum blonde. Well last year I had the "bright" idea to dye my hair dark brown. Aaaaand I did it myself. Hot mess! I stayed brunette for about 8 months until I finally decided that I was ready to go back to being blonde. So I scheduled an appointment with Bebe...which this was my very first appointment at this salon because we just moved to the area. Oh my goodness I am SO HAPPY with how my hair turned out. Bebe even took before and after photos to show the progress that was made today in this transition and I was blown away. I feel pretty again and I'm so excited to go back in a few weeks to add more highlights! read more

I went to see Bebe as a last attempt to fix my totally butchered hair. This was my third cut in a few weeks. I was very nervous about doing anything to it. Bebe was wonderful. She really listened to me and my concerns. She took her time and did an amazing job on my hair. I was so happy and comfortable with her, that I booked a color appointment for the next week (which also turned out better than expected) and I am taking my son to see her too. I would highly recommend Bebe to anyone! I also want to add that everyone at the salon was very friendly and it is a very nice environment. read more

I usually get my hair cut at a near by Sport Clips or something similar, but my girlfriend got her hair done here and told me I should try it. It was a great way for us to bond together getting haircuts at the same time. We drive all the way from Parmer and its definitely worth it. Brian at Salone is super helpful. its very classy and we like getting our Belly points too! read more

Suna is absolutely the most AMAZING stylist I have ever had. I trust her SO MUCH. I am naturally blonde. In a year she has dyed my hair copper, to magenta, to deep purple to back to blonde. She always listens to me, but also lets me know what is best for the health of my hair. I have never walked away with something I didn't like. I can text her and ask her questions and she responds with so much great information. I LOVE SUNA!!! read more

I'm updating my review after repeated visits to this salon for my grandmother and daughter. Bebe is the best! She puts so much care into her clients hair and she really listens to what you want. You can tell that she is passionate about her work, and that styling hair is much much more then a job to her. I absolutely love my color and the way my layers are falling, and can honestly say that this is my favorite way anyone has ever cut my hair. Plus, BB is very knowledgeable about hair health and has taught me so much about how to maintain the health of my hair whilst I am growing it out. Thanks so much Bebe, you are a gem!!! read more

I am SO happy with my haircut and low lights that Lisa Christine did for me yesterday. She was very professional and sweet. Went through all my color choices and talked with me about my desired outcome. My husband, my kids, and today at work my coworkers have all complimented me on my hair. THANKS Lisa!! I highly recommend Lisa Christine and her attentive and trained staff. read more

I went in for a men's haircut at the very last minute. Michelle Lee was not only flexible, but did a great job on my hair! What's more, I have challenging hair due to its texture, density, and growth patterns. Michelle was attentive, friendly, easy-going, and went the extra mile to make my hair look good as well as making me feel good about it. Thank You, Michelle! read more

Suna has been threading my face several months now. I break out from wax so this is a great alternative. She shapes my brows perfectly. She also did a blowout on my frizzy hair & it was so soft, smooth & lots of volume!! read more

Bebe has been cutting and coloring my hair for years now, She also cuts my daughter's hair. I love that we are always coming up with new ideas for the cut and color. Bebe is a true artist and I always look like a million bucks when i leave. Sometimes we even put a pop of purple in my hair. It's a crowd pleaser and so much fun. Thank you Bebe for always taking exceptional care of us. See you soon, Laurie read more

I walked in Salone di Essenza yesterday with a horrible haircut from a different salon, and Suna made magic and turned it into a beautiful and flattering style! Thank you Suna! read more

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with getting my hair done here. While the people were extremely nice, my appointment was 20 minutes late (which got me back to work 20 minutes late). Also, I feel when you are getting your hair done the stylist should insure you are really asking for what you want. I told the stylist I wanted to keep my length and that I was very happy with the color and how it looked. I wanted the color the same (maybe with a low light to help blend) and to cut off the dead ends. It was just below my shoulder blades when I went in and now sits atop my shoulders. I felt something was wrong when she mentioned bleaching my hair (which I have never done before). She kept saying "I did what you asked for", but I never asked for short hair. Anyway, while she was very sweet, she is very inexperienced. I would suggest giving her time to grow. I promise I will not return to this salon nor will i suggest a friend to go. read more
