This place has gone downhill since new ownership took over a couple months ago. Sounds like they "walked into a mess" is what they're stating. Due to this, they have started to interrogate customers if they are unable to find the transactions of packages purchased. I purchased my laser packages back in November 2023. I had a total of 2 sessions left. I was schedule to go in today for one of those and last night I received a text and voicemail from Matthew (the new owner) asking me for proof of this purchase from over a year ago and asked me to call him back. I called him back, which when he answered was SO unprofessional. Answered like a was a random girl hitting him up and was very stand-offish .. almost offended I called him until I reminded him he texted and called me first. Extremely unprofessional. When I stated I don't know if I have those receipts due to it being so long and that I have multiple cards/don't know what card it's on and possibly it could be on a card I don't have anymore, I received the comment of "well that's too bad" and then started the interrogation that they believe people have bought Groupons in the past and never gave the code, in the end getting free sessions. He continued to push that I must provide documentation and if I don't then that will be "too bad" in a very condescending tone. Hinting that I am frauding them in someway and that he doesn't believe I purchased these sessions. 1. I haven't used Groupon for anything in over 5 years. Definitely not doing that. 2. I bought these packages during the holiday special they were having and it was purchased over the phone. If there was anything happening on the "other end" I'm not aware of it. Money was taken out, my packages were bought, and I've been using the sessions this past year. 3. They switched systems so where you could go and look at your purchase history/use to be able to make appointments, it's no longer available. So I can't even pull up my past appointments because they changed systems... so, what is a customer suppose to do? The phone conversation was hostile and very uncomfortable. He made multiple comments hinting that I'm up to no good and when I pushed back reminding him that I am a customer, that what he's doing is not professional, and that I've sent many people to this spa in the past (won't be doing this again) he then just said they would see me tomorrow. Well I went into my appointment today to be met by the wife of Matthew's father (who are investors in this company and look to be now doing the paperwork/admin work) who continued with the interrogations, even after I showed text proof from the staff back in November 2024 acknowledging when I made the purchase and how many sessions I had left/have used, the dates they were used, etc. (back in November we were trying to see how many sessions I had left since I bought 3 packages) Well after this interrogation.. she then was the one who did my laser! To say I felt uncomfortable is an understatement. I guarantee you she has no experience or schooling of any sorts to be working with that laser. She is an investor, not a licensed aesthetician. She didn't pull up my profile to see what "settings" we've been using. I barely felt anything, which it should be getting more intense since we're at the end of my packages. It was a half-a$$ session I have one session left and will not be returning. If you buy a company and walk into a mess, you don't go interrogating the customers. That is not OUR fault there was "behind the scene" issues happening that you're now uncovering. A man should not be running a spa, especially someone with zero experience or background in this type of area. One of the investors should not be running the laser.. this is a recipe for a lawsuit. And you should not be interrogating your customers due to the "mess" you walked into. That's how you lose clients! Which I am now one of them. It's not what it once was. Many lifelong customers are leaving, many employees are leaving. Stay clear of this spa. read more

I received the hydrafacial intro client offer yesterday with Jocelyn which included a dermaplane and brow shaping, and it was probably the best experience I've had in a long time in an esthetician appointment. Had a fantastic experience getting my eyebrows microbladed and walked away loving the results! The place is clean and a great location. It's a professional yet laid back atmosphere and I felt at ease the whole time. Andrea was friendly and made sure to clean up my brows with a quick wax to get a fresh slate to start with. For context: I've had my eyebrows microbladed by someone else before and when I was done I got in my car and cried after paying like $650. It was not a good experience. I made an appointment here recently through Classpass for an eyebrow tint and wax plus eye perk. I was happy I made this appointment, since my brows needed some serious maintenance during COVID. COVID Safety - The minute I walked in, they asked me to wash my hands to be safe when filing out forms with the iPad - which I def appreciated! I kept my mask out during most of the session as did my tech. I was asked to remove it for a few seconds during the eye perk. And I loved that you're able to pay tips via Venmo v. cash. Session - I was happy with the results and the tech was really friendly and gave me some tips on what tint to choose. The tint was a little intense, but I'm sure it'll fade a bit once I shower. They even have a laser machine in one of the rooms available that has a cryogenic feature, so when you get zapped you're only feeling the extreme cold. I have had several bad experiences here. 1) i just went in for a lash lift appointment and was turned away because my appointment had been moved up by 15 minutes without my knowledge. 2) i got a set of lashes here a few months ago for my birthday and was not happy with the outcome. the lashes were pretty but more dramatic than i had hoped for. i gave myself a day to get used to them but ultimately determined they weren't for me. i called and asked for a lash removal service before i went out of town three days later. they said they could not fit me in. i ended up having to find somewhere else on short notice and paying to have the lashes removed. 3) after the above lash incident, i was offered a complimentary lash lift. when i got to that appointment, i was told that the lash lift was NOT complimentary and that i'd have to pay. i did not intend to pay for a lash lift after paying for a full set of lashes and for the removal elsewhere so i left having the service completed. these are just a few of the latest issues i've had here. the owners are very nice and always do their best to make things right, but it's been an extremely frustrating experience. read more

I booked an eyelash appointment with Samantha through Groupon and had a terrible time. It wasn't because of her but the overall experience. I came in behind a blonde woman who was offered drinks or other refreshments but the lady at the desk just told me to sit and wait without offering me anything. Then, once the eyelash appointment starts I am laying down on a bed with 3 other woman in the room who were having other services done and they were just loudly talking the whole time. I love getting my eyelashes done because of the relaxing experience as well but this was not it at all! I couldn't concentrate on anything besides these ladies conversation, talking about their intimate personal life details which I did not care to hear such as how they're hiring " the help" from the countries. My eyelashes were fine I guess and I know that it's partially my fault since my eyelashes were kinda damaged from all the lash extensions I've had so I understand but for the time I was there, an hour and a half, I thought the results would be better but she did give me some suggestions so that's nice. Whenever, I left I just asked for one of those nice drinks that were offered to everyone else but me ( blueberry topo Chico). I've had multiple Microneedling sessions in the past, my last one recently being at SPA 7 from the exact same esthi. Which I have no complaints about my previous visit. However I feel like this time around everything was rushed. I've never felt the pain of the needling before, I feel like my skin was not numbed enough. I even made a comment that it hurt and she stated she put plenty of numbing cream. I felt like she rushed through the entire process. When it was over it looked like nothing had been done, and I questioned it then stated the lady in the front had one recently and no rednesses. Today is day 2 and it feels like nothing was done to my face. She gave me after care product that looked old and dirty. I can send photos. By the time I was changed and ready, it was about 12:38. The facial was totally finished by 1:10. That's a 30 minute facial??? The facial was good and Marisol was good but really, 30 mins?!? It says 1 hour on the website and when I purchased it, it did not say 'express' facial. I realize I got a good deal and I wanted to try the hydrafacial for my first time but this was not a complete facial. I have asked friends who have had them (not at Spa 7) and they says theirs are at least 1 hour, usually a bit longer and they do not have add-ons or anything like that. I would not recommend this place to tint your eyebrows if you are Auburn/Red hair. My eyebrows were tinted a dark brown the first time I went there. Since this was an obvious mistake because I have red hair I complained and gave Moore Beauty a second chance to remedy the mistake. I went in a second time to get them fixed in some manner and came out with even darker eyebrows, borderline black eyebrows. As I said above I would not suggest going to this location if you have Auburn/Red hair. They do not have the knowledge and experience to be tinting redheads. To the response: The definition of "several" is more than two. I have been to your location twice. I was also told I would get a refund a week ago and still haven't received that. Thanks to a Groupon for Laser hair removal, I discovered Spa 7. The Groupon deal was extremely well priced for 6 sessions of laser on one large area. Spa 7 is a lovely place that's well decorated. It's located in a store front that is on the first floor of an apartment building. It is a little tricky to find, but once you arrive near the apartment building, there is a whole street of store fronts that you walk by until you find Spa 7. They have done a wonderful job setting up various areas in the spa to do the treatments they offer. Toni has completed 6 laser sessions on me; she is very friendly and has made the experience a pleasant one! Now that I finished 6 sessions, I purchased 6 more for that same area so I can really get the full effect of laser. They honored the price I paid for the Groupon which was a huge plus! I was a little nervous but Andrea walked me through the entire process, mapped out my brows to show me what they were going to look like and then numbed my brows. I felt absolutely no discomfort, in fact I fell asleep while Andrea was working on my brows! The procedure went by quickly and I could not be happier with my results!!! AS GIVEN THE INCORRECT NEUROTOXIN!!!! I have had several issues with the place. I've tried negotiating with the owner on ways to make up for the 43 units of BOTOX being injected into my face as opposed to the units of JEUVEAU I purchased and assumed were being used. I've also had several stressful experiences with scheduling and some COVID related violations (receptionist not wearing face mask). I have requested a full refund for the last time. I was offered treatments to make up for the use of BOTOX INSTEAD OF JEUVEAU so I agreed, although I originally asked for a refund or for the 50 units of the neurotoxin I paid for. Scheduling has been horrible. The salon is overbooking itself and there is so much confusion and constant games of phone tag. I've asked for a refund and will not be returning to the salon. I am debating reporting them to the TDLR as I have heard from other former clients this kind of mix up isn't a first. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I never write bad reviews and I feel horrible doing this but I sincerely hope this prevents someone from going through the same experience. I think the lack of solid communication is the main cause of all issues. That and overbooking. ***I was never told I was getting Botox in my face and have always been the one to reach out to the owner and salon manager. The Salon Manager scheduled me as a Botox appointment as opposed to the correct neurotoxin, Jeuveau. On the day I finally reached out and spoke to the salon manager, I was told it was my responsibility to check the paperwork stating what neurotoxin to use. I had to call several times to get in touch with the owner. I had to request several different explanations of treatments and scheduling times. Upon receiving a phone call this morning 6/26, from a very aggressive Jackie, the owner, I was told she called in sick to work (?) and was going to give me the 50 units of Jeuveau. She said she was upset that I left a review and claimed I'd been harassing her. She also said "This isn't personal, it's business" then proceeded to speak to me as if this were a personal matter. Yelling, not letting me speak in response to her accusations, arguing, claiming I was harassing her, etc. I tried to respond multiple times but was told to let her speak. I have no idea why issuing a refund is so difficult. I do not trust this salon, everything written below is skewed to fit her own false narrative. This is all so disappointing as some of the staff are really sweet and just did what they were incorrectly told to do by the salon manager. I got my first lash lift here for my birthday back in August. The actual lash lift I thought was good and I had good results, that's not where I had the problem. My main issue was the service and the technician. Before the service, the technician did not go over anything about the service, didn't go over any possible issues that could arise etc which I found odd. I was nervous to have chemicals so close to my eyes and she didn't seem to really care about that. She was also very short with her responses and seemed defensive for some reason. The actual service was a bit impersonal as well, as you lay on some massage looking beds next to several other people. For my next lash lift I will be going elsewhere. read more

Everyone is extremely nice here and the spa itself is beautiful, but the laser hair removal does not work. I went to a previous spa for treatments and saw a difference after the first treatment. After 6 treatments here, I saw no difference and actually had hair growth from my touch ups. I also had a new area worked on (6x) and saw no difference at all. The emails and phone calls are "confirming" appointments that I never made. I told her I just wanted them cleaned up since I like the shape of them and didn't want to have them end up thin. She totally understood. Just came back from my first appointment and am so pleased! Moore was a really nice space. It felt relaxing and chic. The customer service at the front desk was great, I was greeted warmly, offered drinks, and made sure to feel comfortable. I just came for an eyebrow wax, but Moore does offer a whole range of wax and lash services. The wax was excellent! I love that they value thick eyebrows and keeping natural shapes. I really always want mine clean, but I want them to look natural, and they did a great job at this. Everyone was really friendly and easy to talk to as well. I also thought the price point was fair, and really appreciated being able to see all the prices on their website before booking. It seems like a lot of salons don't advertise prices, and I truly appreciate the transparency so I know what I'm getting into! The location was great and right next door to Pure Nails Salon, which I now want to try. I wasn't clear on where to park and ended up parking probably farther than I needed to. Great salon. Had the 3D eyebrows done a couple of times. It was great for special occasions and trips. A month ago I decided to have a more permanent solution for my scarce,shapeless and sad eyebrows and upgraded to the eyebrow microblading. I was hesitant and very nervous before and during the process. Once Andrea showed me in the mirror the final result I was more than amazed! They looked GREAT, she gave them great shape that complimented my face and looked so natural. I have a scar on one of my eyebrows,which was fully covered by the microblading.
