I needed rescue and within hours I was able to be seen (maybe lucked out) but she fixed it. I swear I was scaring people. She adjusted the black tint and removed all the skin tint that was over my brow, she aligned my arches where they should be again and lifted the brow. There were errors from the other girl but she was able to help it SO much that my hubby smiled this time when I came home lol. Will be a repeat customer here. I've had lash extensions for more than 6 years and have used many lash artists in Dallas and Austin. And by far the best lash artist I have ever had is Julie. She is patient, professional and cares about lash health. All of these years using lash extensions most people don't realize the importance the health of your lashes. I received a lash lift and tint from Julie. Mine was difficult case because I actually have been having an issue with very curly lashes. They have been curling over into my eyelid making it look like I had none. I needed my lashes straightened out and I wasn't sure if that was even possible. Julie was so gentle and I could tell she knew what she was doing, even with my eyes closed. The bed was heated and music relaxing. After the first round the lashes hadn't quite tamed so she did another round, without charging me extra, making sure to also use a more sensitive chemical so she also could be sure to not damage the tips. I had never tried lash extensions in the past and really wanted to get them before my wedding. I went in for a visit with LJ and she was very kind and asked me questions about what I was looking for in my lashes. I honestly don't feel like I communicate my preferences well and... ended up with lashes that I thought were WAY too long and just not me. The owner could tell that I was uncomfortable, even though I was doing my best to put on a brave face and try to at least give the lashes a day before I officially started freaking out. I mention that I was going out of town (for my bachelorette party) in 2 days, but would call the following day to follow up. I left the studio at 6:20 and by 6:30 the owner had called my cell phone. She said that they were really busy the next day, but she could tell I wasn't happy and offered to let me go back up the the studio to change my lashes. Let me highlight here: this is a 2 hour service! I went back up to the studio and the owner stayed with me until 9:30pm to remove the old lashes and reapply so I felt satisfied. The new ones are PERFECT and I genuinely almost cried happy tears. It's so stressful when it's your face that you're not happy with. I've been going to Daniela to get my lashes done for about six weeks now, and I love: 1) the end result, and 2) the process. Let's start with the end result. With my lash extensions I have halved my morning makeup routine. I no longer wear eye makeup Monday through Friday. Adios mascara! Adios eyeliner! I did a Keratin lash lift with Daniela and she did such a great job! I had one done at another salon (I don't think it was keratin) and thought the results were just ok. I am so glad I went to Daniela the second time, she asked me how I wanted them to look, like more straight up or more of a natural curve out and up. They turned out much more dramatic but still very natural looking. It has lasted way longer than the first one I did at the other salon and my eyelashes have stayed nicely separated and perfectly shaped- with the other one they looked kind of tangled and misshapen after a few weeks.
