This is supposed to be relaxing/pampering time, and I had to endure 2.5 hrs of them laughing loudly, gossiping back and forth about a coworker who clearly was not there, a juice shop and what they wanted to order and a rollerskate venue. SO. ANNOYING. Very disrespectful to the clients laying there. My lashes were sparse and shorter than I wanted and they didn't look natural. They looked like shiny plastic. Not only because the lash work is such high quality, but because the women who work there are kind, warm, and genuine and go out of their ways to make you feel comfortable. I am not a high maintenance girly, but I ventured to start pampering myself more and hopefully saving time on my "get cute" routine by getting lash extensions. The first artist I went to was Tran who I believe moved and is no longer with the studio, but she did an excellent job and my lashes stayed on for so long! Luna Lash is by far the best lash studio I have ever been to! If I could give them 10 stars I would. All the lash techs are super skilled and take the time to understand exactly what you want. I've been wondering about Luna Lash for some time and finally took the plunge last weekend to try it out! Jaymee and Reece greeted me on Sunday morning, making me feel warm and welcome! The space is cute and clean, with an open reception area and four lash loungers on the other side of the shop. My appointment was with Reece. She sat down with me to explain the process and ask questions about my previous lash extension experience to cater the service to my needs. She gave me plenty of information about properly caring for my lashes and then walked me to the lash washing station to wash my natural lashes. The personalized experience at this lash studio is something I haven't experienced anywhere else! Reece was super meticulous about ensuring that I was comfortable and that I was happy with the final product! I'll update my review in the next month or two once I've had a couple of refills and see how retention lasts. So far I'm highly impressed and wish I would've come sooner! read more

Update: 6/3/22 - I have to commend Luna lash on their excellent customer service. They reached out and provided me with a refill free of charge, twice. However, each refill only lasted a week before they mostly fell out. (Yes, I washed my lashes per their instructions but for some reason the lashes didn't last). We couldn't figure it out and it was frustrating to have to go back in after a week each time. However, they were great with customer service and willing to fit me into their schedules to address the issue. After the second refill, I scheduled to have them remove the remaining ones because my lashes were looking funky from the fall out. Seems like I'm in the minority here so I'd recommend Luna lash to anyone because they are so customer centric. It didn't work out for me but I'd recommend folks give it a try 5/7/22 I went here for a hybrid lash fill for the first time, and I'm not sure I'm coming back. The reason is because the lashes didn't even last a full week. They started falling out 3 days after (past the time they said I could come back if I noticed a lot of fall out) and by the end of day 5, my left eye was pretty bare and my right eye had some left. For $150 including 20% tip I'd have expected it to last 2-3 weeks. I did have foreign lashes on but the lash tech working on me commented that the quality of work of my previous tech was great and my lashes were well taken care of. I've been wearing lashes for 4 years and haven't had this happen before so am a bit disappointed because I'm new to Austin and want to find my "go to" salon. Pros: the customer service is great, Saima was super friendly and sweet, check in was smooth and on time. The room they have in the back of the salon has ergonomic back support tables and is super clean. I didn't experience any lash glue issues/burning. They do validate parking and scheduling is easy peasy. Cons: as I mentioned above I paid $150 and the lashes didn't last a full week. read more

We actually had a little misunderstanding at one point because I had to reschedule at the last minute but, they were fair with me and refunded any cancellation fees so, that being said, I have to say this is a quality place with a nice vibe. I have been getting lash extensions with Jaymee for at least three years. She has always made me feel comfortable even after my first visit when I didn't heed the advice to wash my lashes and I had some build up and some extension casualties. Waste of $100. Had a trip planned and knew exactly what I wanted for my lashes. The entire end of the left eye fell off, within two days, except one lone straggler. I had been quoted $50 and when I left I was charged over $90. What a nightmare. Not only can I never get my time back, I now look like a haggard cyclops. Request a new full volume set with Amy. The experience was very unpleasant at first. We were disagreeing on how I clean my lashes. I've been getting my lashes done for 10 years now, never had a bad experience until Luna Lash. She was basically saying that I need to wash my lashes daily and when I told her I understand but won't be doing that.. it was downhill from there. We did a consultation I told her short was my only request. Since it was a full volume set I didn't think I needed to tell her what volume lashes look like. We tried being civil the rest of the appointment but in my mind I already decided I would not be coming back. When I looked at my lashes at the end of the appointment they were looked like classic instead of volume. I cannot express how upsetting it is to argue with these people, pay $275 and hate how it looks. I told her during the appointment one of my eyes was getting fumes. She tried to adjust but before I left she made me wash my lashes... pretty sure it was to be petty. It burned as soon as I put the soap on and when I went home the pain got worse and it looked like I had pink eye. I'm not one to leave a bad review but it's not okay what happened. read more

At my appointment Jaymee explained that because my lash growth and the length of time since my last fill that it would be best to have the old lashes removed and to start with a fresh set. I tried out Luna lash with my sister on a whim! We were super impressed by the quality of the lashes and the attention to care that Jaymee provided. I have relatively sensitive eyes and jaymee kept asking me if I was okay and applying a fan to help them. My coworkers tell me I look way better with the lashes and for the first time in forever I go out wearing no make up. They last about 3-4 weeks and you get refills on them every 2 weeks. I've had mine for maybe 2 weeks and they're still present just slightly receding as my eye lashes naturally fall off.
