To preface, I have gotten my lashes tinted and lifted at a different company before and did not experience burning in my eyes, nor shortening of my eyelashes. Very disappointed with my experience here at lash lounge. The technician, Shelby, was silent the entire appointment and explained nothing. Afterward, my eyes were burning and tearing, and I noticed my lashes were significantly shorter. I use a lash serum and normally have long lashes, yet all of them were the same short length. I was never asked for permission to cut my lashes, which I would have refused. Three weeks later, my lashes are already longer than they were right after the service. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone who does not want their lashes cut. read more

Not happy with this place. I kept trying to be satisfied for a year. I have given them many chances. A stylist used the wrong glue. I had to have my extensions removed &then new ones put on. 2 weeks later. Well, when they removed my lashes, that removed my real lashes. DO NOT COME HERE FOR LASH LIFTS! I came in for a lash lift and tint. The stylist, Erika S., used a silicone pad that was too small for my lashes. My eyelashes came out over curled and over processed. It wasn't any fault of mine, as I haven't had this type of service done for a year now. I came back immediately after my appointment and was offered no sympathy or assistance. I wasn't able to receive a refund on-site despite providing photo evidence, and my lashes look awful. I could've done better work with a lash lift kit and a YouTube tutorial. This is the most I have paid for this type of service in Austin ($120) and it's also the worst results I've ever had. I'm so disappointed and now I have to go to an important event with this mess. read more

Awful customer service. I told them I would be 15 minutes late because I took an Uber to the wrong location. The receptionist said it would be no problem if I showed up within 15 minutes. I changed my Uber drop-off location immediately. The receptionist called me back to tell me she mistook the service I was going in for (a lash lift) for a lash refill, and coming in late for a lift was not doable. The Lash Lounge charged me $104 for a service they did not complete, which is TERRIBLE considering they have no late policy, only a cancelation policy on their website. I had to change my Uber drop-off location once again. I am aware that being late was my fault, but when I asked to reschedule it for a different day the receptionist told me it was not possible. Truly an awful business meant to scam customers. Please go elsewhere to get your lashes done. read more

First lash place I've visited since moving to Texas. Went in for a full set of hybrid classic and brow threading. The salon is very beautiful and clean and the people are very nice. I loved the way my brows and lashes looked when I left. 24 hours later I noticed some shredding. By the third day it had gotten worse. Now I take full accountability for not contacting them as I wasn't aware of the 48 hour satisfaction guarantee. Eveb if I were by the end of the week half of my lashes were gone and it still would have been too late. I made an appointment for a fill before I left the day of installation. When I received the reminder text for my appointmen, I notified them that I was almost completely out of lashes. less than 2 weeks have gone by. I told them I didn't mind giving them another chance and that I would pay for a fill in but I would need more lashes because they were almost nonexisten. long story short, I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to pay for another full set because I didn't call within the first 48 hours. I have been doing laser tattoo removal (not at the Lash Lounge) for the last few months for my botched microblading (also done elsewhere) and every time I go for a session I am left with white brow hairs. I was told that I could go for brow tinting and decided to book with The Lash Lounge. After I made the initial appointment, someone called and said they didn't know if it was safe to tint them after the tattoo removal so we mutually canceled the appt; (when you book, they charge a deposit fee which the DO NOT refund when the appointment is canceled). I was told at my following removal appointment that it was safe to do tinting so I made another appointment. After the tattoo removal session, my brows were super beat up and I called and said I didn't feel comfortable doing the tinting and would need to wait a bit longer. Unbeknownst to me, they had charged another deposit which they again did not refund. When saw the 2 deposit charges on my credit card statement, I called and asked that they be refunded as I had not been able to come in and the girl (Maddie?) told me that I could apply them to my session when I could come in. So last week I was finally able to make it in. When it came time to pay, I assumed that my 2 deposits ($30) would cover the cost of the tinting service ($28). The next day, I saw that I was charged another $28 for the tinting and left a voicemail asking why I had been charged. I was texted back and told that the 2 deposits were used to charge me for a full appointment for the last appt as it was a late cancelation (it wasn't late). I texted back and forth stating that my cancelations had not been late (the first appt had been cancelled by them), and they used my $30 deposit to pay for that 'late' (not late) cancellation. The manager then emailed me a very condescending email, stating my cancelations were late and that was that. However, using TWO of my deposits doesn't make sense, the whole thing is just very shady in how they charge customers for deposits, cancelation etc. and then don't take any responsibility for the botched charges. I have to say that the place is very nice and clean and the girl who did my brows (Aubrey) was lovely and I thought she had done a good job. Three days later, however, the tinting had 100% faded and now I have white brows again. I know my brow hairs do take color as I had them done in NYC a month ago and they were still dark a month later. I know that $28 does not really matter that much in the scope of things but the bottom line is that I paid a total of $58 for brow tinting that lasted 3 days. I will never go back there and I will make sure to let others know to steer clear. read more

I was really looking forward to my lash lift. The "COVID guidelines" were not followed. I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment but ended up waiting a good 15-20 minutes in the waiting area before I was taken back. My technician Maria was running behind. I told her that I wanted a nice curled look. What I got was bent eyelashes, there wasn't really a curl. I have long enough eyelashes that the look that I requested could have been achieved. The results that I got were not worth what I paid and I've had several lash lifts done before. Nicole, the manager left me a voicemail days later. After my first visit, due to the time commitment, I was honestly unsure if I'd be able to maintain but I loved the results so much I decided to continue with at least a few more fills and have become hooked! I wear very little makeup but have always curled my eyelashes on most days and if I do wear makeup, focus on my eyes. With the lashes, I no longer have to curl my lashes and wear less makeup which translates to more time! I also love how naturally enhanced they look and regularly get compliments on them. My experience? Wow! 1) The wow factor of the salon. You feel uplifted the second you open the door! 2) The staff. Everyone was so friendly. I even did a video to show my friends where I was and they were extremely excited to see my "live before and after". 3) Education. I needed to ask plenty of questions about the process, style, and instructions to take care of my lashes. Victoria was my stylist and she educated me about every step. 4) Process. I loved that they use a form that explains the process to help you selecting a style that fits you. I wanted a natural look and the last thing I wanted was to wake up from the lashes and look like a doll. She took the time to cover the styles. They have different material, length, and curl. So interesting! 5) The look! I got my natural look! Loved it! 6) The After. I'm a Crossfit "athlete" ... well ... trying to! I go to my gym 6 times a week and it's intense. My lashes passed the test! I got my lashes done with Ana/ Anna and she was incredible- she made me feel super comfortable the whole time and was very cool, smart, and sweet. I am normally someone who wants to stay silent (which she would have respected) but I started a conversation and we had a really good chat throughout my time on the table. At the end of the session, she did a wonderful job on my lashes- better than I could have ever asked for- despite us talking through the whole thing. I will definitely be back. I have loved every visit- I am met with such warmth and hospitality- they truly strive to make this a total zen experience! I actually just looked through all of these reviews and a recent one star caught my attention- so I read it, and I've got to say we can not possibly be talking about the same people or place to have experienced such polar opposite visits.... and I have been there at least 10 times, and seen 2-3 Lash Stylists before setting my appointments with Victoria - who is AMAZING- she's fast, she's an expert, and most of all she's a true professional. Omg where to start! This place is horrible I have been getting lash extensions for over 5 years and have never had any issues like this before, I should have known from the start when they said FREE to RUN for the hills! First, they offer me free lash extensions but instead tinted my lashes (I did not want that and did not ask for that, then tried to forced me to pay for that service at checkout) Second, lashes she did apply to very of very poor quality, very bad it honestly look like a child had did them. I usually have this girl named anette thread my eye brows and I love here she's amazing she always does it really quick and then just tweezes at the end really quick as well so it isn't as painful for my sensitive skin. this time I had Maria and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I've been coming here almost 2 years. I love this place. Both locations are superb. My regular stylist, Aubrey, keeps my lashes flawless. I never have to tell her what I want/need. She knows and delivers every time. The few times we've had scheduling conflicts and I had to go to someone else, I was not disappointed. I received a free session of lash extensions last month from my first training lash stylist, Amanda. It did take a long time (3 or 4 hours I think) but that was expected since she was training. There were a few uncomfortable moments when I felt like my lash line was being poked. This caused me to not be able to fall asleep as long as usually do in the past when I've gotten lash extensions elsewhere. However, I didn't mind it as much because I could hear the other girls helping Amanda by giving her encouragement and advice. It was very uplifting to hear the kindness in the room. After my session, my lashes weren't as full as I had hoped, which Amanda apologized for as she ran out of time to complete another run through. She was a very sweet person and I am confident that with time she will perfect her skills. My lash refill was performed 2 weeks later by Odaly. I dont think a single lash fell out from my initial visit at this point. This session took about 2 hours and I slept like a baby (a drooling, snoring one). She did a great job. I felt beautiful when I left that day, and I haven't seen many lashes fall out yet. The volume lashes were Indeed long but they were not as thick looking as I wanted. Perhaps if I got the dramatic or extreme volume it would have suited my needs more. I have hooded eyelids so I think the classic volumes look better on double eye lids while hooded eyelids require a little more volume to be seen in photographs. Either way, the lashes I got were very natural looking. Many people told me they couldn't even tell it was extensions. I use to get lash extensions done monthly for a about a year. They cost roughly the same amount as the lash lounge monthly sub but did not include 2 refills per month. I think I would try out the dramatic lashes before committing to the subscription, so I will think about it more. read more

After waiting over a month as a new customer to see a lash lounge technician, I was told via email, less the 24 hrs before my appointment she was upgraded and I get to pay an additional $75 dollars for my appointment. But don't worry if I've been a client already I get another month. Just no, horrible way to do business. I LOVE my dramatic volume lashes Maria gives me. I have been going there for a couple months now and she has given me beautiful lashes that create such a cleopatra goddess effect I don't even need to put eyeliner or mascara on in the mornings! The Lash Lounge in West Lake Hills is the only place I'll be getting my lashes done from now on. I originally was introduced to TLL from Instagram, where I saw a promotion - free lash extensions (a value of $275)! I was incredibly excited and booked right away. After each appointment I've had, I've been incredibly satisfied. My lashes look fuller, longer, and are impeccably curled. Ashley, my lash stylist, is always calm, kind, and totally understanding - when I get my lashes done, I like to lay back, sleep, and prefer not to be bothered. Ashley completely understands this and is incredibly accommodating, making sure to handle my lashes gently so I don't wake up during the process. Time Frame: Since I came in as a lash model, the appointment was a bit longer - three hours for my first appointment, two for my second. I adore Ashley as my stylist, and don't mind this timeframe. However, there are shorter timeframe options if this is a consideration for you - they offer different tiers of stylist experience levels, so if you'd like a shorter timeframe for your lash appointment, you can always request a regular stylist or a senior stylist, and these times are shorter. I will continue to work with Ashley, and even though the two hour appointment is longer, I believe it is 100% worth it. The lashes are gorgeous and high quality - much more so than the lashes I've experienced in my five years of searching for the perfect lash salon. Customization: My consultation with Ashley each time has been easy and comforting. She takes the time to know exactly what I liked about my lashes and what I haven't, then immediately tells me the plan about how she will change the application. She used different types of tape between my first and second experiences, creating a much fuller appearance during my follow-up appointment and truly customizing to my needs. Experience: The experience at TLL is luxurious and calming. They offer adult beverages to their clients, and even have a Mimosa Sunday offer. The bed is comfortable and the two pillows they offer help your body to stay comfortable during the process. Price: The price is exactly in line with other, similarly luxurious lash salons, if not slightly less expensive. Their VIP deal ($99 for two lash refills) is a great money-saver and really allows you to fully commit to the whole experience. Retention: I have been getting my lashes done for 5+ years and my retention has never been this fantastic. I get my lashes filled every two weeks, and always feel as if I don't even need a refill! TLDR: The Lash Lounge is the only place I'll be getting my lashes done from now on. Timeframe is long but worth it, customization is at the top of its class, the experience is calming and luxurious, and the price is reasonable for the service. I came here over the summer for lash extensions with Maria, and while I would happily recommend those, I wasn't as pleased with my eyebrow threading appointment. I came here a few days ago and had an appointment with Odalys. She was super sweet, but unfortunately didn't seem to know what she was doing. She did more plucking than threading, and didn't really shape my brows. She only got rid of stray hairs. This was something I could've done on my own for free. If you're used to the Indian ladies who thread super fast and shape your brows, this is the exact opposite. I cannot recommend The Lash Lounge enough. I got my lashes done (full set with volume) before going to Park City for a bachelorette party and France for a week ski trip. I put them through snowstorms, champagne showers and steam rooms and they didn't even budge. I went a few days longer than normal for a refill and everyone was surprised I needed a refill already because my lashes still looked so full. The staff is also incredibly nice and makes sure you're comfortable from check-in to signing out. Very nice owner and management, unfortunately service is lacking. I called after seeing pictures on instagram, looking for volume and length. They were happy to charge me for the works, I wanted length/drama/mink. I got somewhat volume, and was appalled to find they were falling out 4 days later, and pulling. I have been getting lashes done for two years, and have never had this issue. I also have never paid so much. For 5 weeks we went back and forth, promising me everything. Then having the same issues. Fallout - lasting 4 days at the most. I spent so much time and money here for nothing but a headache. I will say, it is a beautiful facility, and they did try to fix the solution.
