I walked in without an appointment and was welcomed warmly. The salon carries Orbie and a few products I use. I've had my hair done by 4 different stylist. I get color and weekly blowouts. Each one did an excellent job! They also have an esthetician too. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Bridget. It made sense why the people working there were just as lovely. Icing on the cake is that they free parking on the premisises.

The last time I went to Stephen Todd's mobile salon was on my birthday. I was hoping for a nice…read morebirthday experience, but instead, I got a 15-minute SuperCuts-style BAD haircut! Apparently, this man had an actual salon pre-Covid. And after losing that, he has been schlepping his mobile trailer across town to various parking lots for the past 5 years. I can't speak for his pre-Covid salon, but my experience in his trailer was very disturbing! Not only was the haircut bad, but Stephen Todd also seemed to be highly agitated in very close trailer quarters. A substance problem? A hangover from the night before? Mental issues in general? I have no idea---but this guy was not a professional, not a good stylist. Just some creepy, agitated, addled guy in a hair-cut trailer----to AVOID, gals! p.s. Stephen Todd just responded that my above was a "fake review" and that I was an "evil person." Nah. It's just that I think Todd has, for years, gotten away with behaving in a creepy, unprofessional manner, especially once he was reduced to his trailer. Most of us women go to a hair-stylist for a relaxing hour in the afternoon! When I visited his mobile trailer, this guy was clearly either ON something (or recovering from something the night before) and wasn't there to provide any sort of "good experience" to me or ANY client. It's not "evil" to speak the truth.

One of the things I have always liked about this place was that there are instructors all around. I saw three of them that day. Many of the girls were new and the instructors came out to teach and actually step in to show them a technique. An instructor will always come to check your hair before you leave so don't worry! Just for a reference, my wash and blow dry was 10 bucks!! They take tips but cash only!! I felt horrible as I only had 2 dollars to give my girl. The instructor made me feel just fine about it. She told me I didn't even need to leave a tip. The girls just love having the experience on the floor. So be prepared to bring cash if you would like to leave a tip. $$$

Update! 8/18/2020 Over the last few months, Chelsie has been…read morecutting my hair and I'm a HUGE FAN! I have a pretty edgy, A-symmetrical pixie cut with half of my head shaved. The back is full of layers and texture that creates a swoop that flows into a chin length cut. Chelsie is very detail oriented and great at making this complicated cut seem like an easy job. My hair is always perfectly textured with lots of body. I have to mention, her shampoos are the most relaxing and pampering part of my experience. I have to remind myself not to fall asleep! LOL! She is never in a rush and always takes her time to make sure I leave with a smile on my face. I've even brought my sister for a visit & she was so impressed with Chelsie that she will drive 4.5 hours just to get a color and cut from her. If that doesn't convince you that she's amazing, idk what will. :) I have never been to a salon like this before. The service is outstanding!! You get a custom hair cut by professionals who take your styling preferences into consideration. And the best part, their products are chemical free!! I have searched near and far for a place that doesn't look at me crazy when I say im particular about the ingredients in my hair product. It doesn't even smell like a salon, it's wonderful! This salon is totally worth every penny! Plus, you get complimentary wine or champagne. HUGE BROWNIE POINTS! I will be a regular for life now! Thank you ladies!!
