Update: The salon was very quick to reach out and make things better, thank you Adore Nail Lounge! I've been going here for over a year and today was the first time I had a bad experience. It felt like Vicky half-assed the entire pedicure. I added the callus remover as an extra and she barely applied the product and did two swipes with the remover equipment. My nails aren't cut straight and a couple nails at crooked. She also took the nail file over my big toe after she painted and had the nails under the light... and it's now super rough over the nail polish and messed up the polish. She handed me the ticket to pay and got up and walked away without even leaving me a pathway to get up from the chair, leaving her equipment cart in that spot, it was the technician right next to her that kindly moved it for me. Overall, the vibes in the salon are great! I would just avoid Vicky as a nail tech. read more

I returned to the salon today for a regular mani/pedi. My techs name was Ken. Ken wasn't too friendly, I wasn't asked if I wanted water etc.. My service felt rushed. He was a little rough to the touch as times with my pedi. The pulling and moving my feet & toes quickly and/ or forcing them down from time to time was uncomfortable. I didn't say anything but looked at him. The manicure wasn't done completely. He massaged my forearm but missed my hands. I asked if he was going to massage my hands, he looked at me and said yes, but no massage to my hand was performed. I looked around at other customers and their hands were massaged a little after their forearm. Their tech had them wash their hands afterwards. Ken had me wash my hands right after my forearm. He polished my nails and said thank you. He placed a fan in front of my hands but didn't say how long I needed to stay in front of the fan. Normally im told 2 mins etc...I touched my nails after 3 mins and turned off the fan. When I checked out I did let the lady know it wasn't a good experience for me this time. She inquired, I told her Ken didn't ask me if I wanted any water etc..as I watch other customer receive sodas & waters. The lady replied, oh really he normally does. I replied he didn't. I said I didn't appreciate all the pulling / tugging as well as him placing the fan in front of me and not saying how long I needed to dry my nails. The receptionist excuse for Ken's behavior was he doesn't speak English which I thought was bananas. I still have a small tip, but asked that he not be assigned to me again. She agreed in doing so. I thought about my experience on my way home. A mani/ pedi is not cheap. If I can't enjoy it and relax I'd rather not return nor refer any more friends to their shop. I'm disappointed. R. I've been a loyal client here since October, coming in every two weeks for both nails and a pedicure, consistently tipping 20% or more, and always booking my next appointment before leaving. I also booked with the same two techs every time, so my loyalty wasn't just to the business, but to them personally. The quality of the work is truly superb -- my nails have always looked amazing, and that's the only reason I kept coming back. Unfortunately, the time management and respect for appointments has been consistently disappointing. On one visit, I was scheduled for both services, but they had me do my nails first and then sent me out the door with wet toenails, which was extremely inconvenient. Most recently, I arrived on time for my appointment, only to find my pedicure tech was still in the middle of another client. After already waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time, it was clear the service would take significantly longer. As someone who regularly gets these services, I could realistically see I would be waiting well beyond my scheduled time, so I chose to walk out. As a repeat client who plans ahead, spends consistently, supports specific technicians, and tips well, it's frustrating to feel like customer loyalty doesn't matter. The talent here is undeniable, but the scheduling and overall client experience do not reflect the level of service being provided. I am changing my review. I had previously left 4 stars and before that a 5 stars. My last set of nails lasted me 4-5 weeks and they were acrylic so problem solved and figured out. So future reference.... If you want nails that last from this establishment at least for me it is probably best to go acrylic. read more

Everyone else was greeted and taken to their nail tech and mine visibly didn't wanna work on me even thought I knew who and where he was he stared from a corner. Bad bad bad. And silly me for giving them a second chance. I get dip nails. From other places, like Triangle and Highland Nails for example, they last 6 weeks and have no cracks. From Adore, they don't last 24 hours. The first time was a month ago. They cracked in a week and I went and had it repaired. More nails swiftly cracked after I got the one repaired. So many were cracked, that I went back the next week for a new set. I told the front desk, a young woman with long straight black hair, about my issue. She didn't apologize and just pointed at the sign in. The tech assigned to me proceeded to use a metal attachment on her grinder on my bare nail, nicking my skin along the way. I winced several times and even told her, you keep doing it! When I checked out, the front desk woman charged me full price. I was shocked. I said, so....if I have this issue again what do you recommend. She said just keep coming back in for repairs. This new set lasted 24 hours, then started cracking. This second job was so terrible it also started disintegrating (back into dip powder form), I'm guessing because she made each powder layer too thick. I noticed she kept going 2 dips for every layer of polish, which is not how it's supposed to be done. As they continue to crack, I realize how destroyed my nails are, and I slowly and carefully removed everything with acetone. Pics attached show how the cracks caused my nails to separate from the beds, and the metal tool indented and thinned my nails out so bad I can't get my nails done again any time soon. They messed up, I gave them another chance, foolishly, and they messed up again. My nails are so thin they are painful. And I spent 3 hours of my time and over $100 on this adventure. Can I give this place 10-15 stars please?!?? I have searched all over Austin for a nail salon to call "home base." It is safe to say after 3-4 years of being on the hunt and prowl. I finally found it. Their cost is about the same as everywhere else. They just opened in May. The staff seem very up to date on the new techniques to achieve certain styles of nails. (Example: the guy airbrushed my ombré nails I had never heard of this being done but they look phenomenal-- something you'd see in a magazine or something). I'm thoroughly impressed and will be coming back here. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday around 5-6pm. They constantly had a steady stream of customers rolling in it seemed. But they seem to stay open a little later than a lot of place because they don't close til 7:30pm which is nice because you don't feel rushed during rush hour to get there only to get there and there not be enough time or something. read more

had a really great experience w adore nail lounge! went in for a builder gel refill & really happy with the shape and apex of my nails. i didn't get the name of the nail tech but she was a bit older, and she did absolutely amazing with the design. i love how close the shade match is (compared to my natural nail) for the nude base color she chose, since that was something that was important to me. love the stars she free handed and the gems she arranged. total was $100 excluding tip which i think is great value. also want to mention that we came in at 6:30, and the nail tech stayed past their closing time to finish the design and do it really meticulously if half stars are possible, i might give 4.5 because i also booked a lash lift and when i got there, they told me their lash tech is on vacation for a month. i was just visiting the area so idk if this is common or something, but i'm used to the service always being available if it's able to be booked online/confirmed via text following an online booking (which both services were), so was a little bit disappointed by that. read more

Because of a neurological condition that affects my right hand, I always take a moment at the beginning to explain what I need. I've learned to advocate for myself, and in most places, that's met with patience and care. This time, it wasn't. My experience today was TERRIBLE. The technician was incredibly unprofessional and rude and the manager defended the behavior From the moment I explained my hand, there was a noticeable shift in the technician's demeanor. Her tone became more hesitant and, at times, visibly uncomfortable. Instead of approaching the situation with curiosity or professionalism, there was a sense of reluctance as though my presence had complicated something that should have been routine. During the service, the interaction felt strained. There were moments where my hand was handled with a lack of confidence and care, and rather than communicating openly or asking how to best support me, there was a withdrawal. At points, it felt like she didn't want to engage at all. It's hard to explain, but experiences like this aren't about one comment or one moment..they're about a pattern of subtle signals that communicate: you are not fully welcome here. So I came back to get gel X because my last set lasted so long and I was impressed with the quality that I was willing to pay more. Unfortunately my expectations were not met with the service. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and asked how much it would be and they said $70. I asked them to explain and they said gel x was $50, french tip was $15 and round shape was $5. Note on their website it says "Shape (Coffin, Stiletto) $5" So keep this in mind. They will up-charge you for things not stated on their website. I agreed to the design and cost sat down and felt rushed during the process. When she was done with a specific part (shaping, polish) she would have me check and (this part was my fault) but I said things looked good. I should've taken more time to look. When she was doing the top coat I realized the french tip didn't look like the pictures I showed her and told her I know she just did a top coat but I wasn't happy with it. She look irritated and there become some tension between us while she told me "I should've told her earlier" (which I get but she made me feel really bad about it) then proceeded to try and fix the french trip over the cured top coat. Which left me 3 top coats...which I quested but she kinda waved me off and said it was fine. I appreciated her patience but it also felt like she was annoyed with me so she was rushing the process and I was forced to say I liked them. After I paid and got the sunlight I realized my whole left hand had a cloudy look and the french tip lines were blurred. This is because she rushed through the process and put lotion on my left hand then told me to put my hand in the light again to cure it?! So the lotion and top coat cured together. Also there was still gel residue left on my right thumb! Attention to detail lacks. On top of all of this- I left with nicks from the dremel...wow!!! My fingers are still sore. I called to express my frustration and the lady told me to come back and they will "see it in person to decide if they want to fix it" I'll update my review after I go. UPDATED: New nail tech and no problems getting a new set that actually look like the picture. So I'm happy but not sure if I wanna try to come back here since they're inconsistent. read more

Their service is horrible. I Came back in because my nails were not fully painted from the week before. That's terrible quality from a nail shop! They tried to charge me $40 after I told them I didn't want anything extra just a change of paint. The lady "YIN" started to argue with me about how she did paint my nails all the way, and she clearly did it. The audacity for her to argue with me was outrageous. I've been going here consistently for over a year. I usually leave somewhat happy, but over time their prices keep becoming more and more outrageous. Since when are we receiving itemized receipts for nail service? Take off, nail shape, and then "design" on top of an already expensive gel x set is super annoying. I was charged $15 for a "design" of French tip, and my tech did every nail uneven. Some are thicker than others, some are thinner, some have lumps, some end higher on one side and lower than the other. It was $85 to get my gel x taken off and a new set on.. and then on top of that I tipped. In hindsight, I shouldn't have since I was so unhappy with my end result. I was looking for a new nail spot and I am soooo glad I stumbled upon this place! My sister and I were in serious need for a pedicure and saw that the prices here were relatively fair, maybe even cheaper than some salons around. Pedicures start at $35! We didn't make an appointment but we were attended as soon as we walked in. Tony and Holly were our techs and they were so gentle and attentive to detail. Holly was the one attending me and she made sure I was comfortable and pleased with every step of the pedicure. I really appreciated her asking questions throughout the process since I sometimes struggle to speak up at nail salons. However there was no need for me to critique cause she did such a great job. My nail tech Julie helped me find the color I wanted and she did a perfect job. I love how their services are reasonably priced and the location is conveniently close to campus. An update to my last review: I complained about all of my nails peeling and management quickly got back to me and offered a brand new set! As I was only visiting for the weekend, I couldn't come in again, so they offered to fix it when I return to town which was a great resolution to my issue :) the next time I'm in around I'll be returning to give this place another shot because they have a huge polish variety, good complimentary drinks, and overall great ambience, so I'm excited to return in the future for another go! Went as a walk-in on a Sunday afternoon, when I first walked in it looks so crowded I thought they were going to tell me it was an hour wait. They sat me right away in a pedicure chair, and within 10 minutes somebody was there and starting. It looks like it's somebody's job to schedule and keep track of progress, it really made it run very smoothly and efficiently from what I can tell. They have booklets with the different colors, and you can get every color in dip,regular and gel so you don't have to look through all the different areas. You just pick a color you want and tell them if you want regular, gel or dip. They are very efficient with your time, but do not rush. I got the $47 pedicure, it's not the classic but one above it. So much time spent on massaging it was amazing! I got an acrylic fill and the technician was doing my fill and shape as I was getting my pedicure, it was awesome to cut down on some time. They also have refreshments- two per customer. They have a great variety such as margaritas, wine, mimosa, and nonalcoholic drinks. It looks so clean and smells clean- not like chemicals! They use individually wrapped pedicure tools on your nails so you know it's sanitary and clean. This will definitely be my go to place!!! read more

I booked this nail salon primarily through the great reviews on the internet and TikTok. Walking in, first thoughts, this place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the color selection is great. I made an appointment and once I got there, it only took about 5 minutes to call my name. Once seated, the nail tech offered me a book of services they offer and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). I chose the Luxe Stone pedicure with gel and a gel manicure. The pedicure was great, the drinks were great, the manicure; however, wasn't the best. It was not until I paid and got to the car, that I really noticed the cuticles were not done correctly and the paint coats were uneven. I went back inside to address the issue and the salon offered to fix the issue with no extra charge nor fuss. (I have attached the original gel manicure and the 2nd one) Overall.
