Better Buzz is my favorite coffee place in San Diego. The vibe, the people, the food, oh, and the COFFEE!! Oh my gosh it is so good. The food is always on point and the baristas are nice, friendly, and welcoming. The decor always makes me smile and the buzz is seriously infectious! read more

The service was not good. It was super slow and the employees where rude when asking for updates. I ordered a drink and food and waited over an hour in the sun for it. Don't recommend in peak hours. read more

Better Buzz Coffee - Mmmm! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Encinitas, California

Wow! I'm so blown away by this place. Not only is their coffee great but the ambiance and decor are both wonderful, and so creative! I'd give the customer service 6 stars if I could. The staff is genuine and very welcoming. They're all knowledgable about their product and went above and beyond to make my experience a great one. I ordered a hazelnut divinity and it was sweet and delicious, definitely hit the spot. This is a go to spot in Encinitas! read more

DELICIOUS but pricey. Definitely won't be my regular spot, but excellent for a treat now and then. Hazlenut Divinity = godlike. Gluten free brownies and other treats are amazing! Cute atmosphere, excellent for instagram posts. Definitely reccomend avoiding rush hour. It can get crowded!! read more

Cute atmosphere, nice staff, and delicious food and drinks. I ordered the og bowl and green tea latte and both were great. The service was pretty slow but overall a decent place to go. read more

Saw this place on Instagram with boyfriend, so decided to stop by during long weekend. Long line, but moving fast. We order a large caramel buzz and a regular honey buzz, both are good, but TOO SWEET next time will order something with less caramel/honey, or maybe just a cup of Americano. read more

Better Buzz is our absolute favorite coffee shop! We have a coffee here every day when we are in town. Our only complaint is that they haven't brought them to vegas yet but that's us being hopeful! Would highly recommend to everyone wanting a good coffee, and their signature vanilla is so good. read more

Great coffee. Strong and fresh. Great location on the 101. It's typically crowded and can be hard to get a seat. Fresh pastries and very friendly staff. read more

Potentially the friendliest coffee shop staff I've ever encountered...and always amazing coffee!

Hands down some of the worst coffee available. It's a wonder this place is packed all the time. They're priced like the shops who take care and detail when roasting but offer awful product. If you have any care for good quality coffee, do not go here. read more

The place is light and airy, the coffee and muffins outstanding. I love the lavender syrup!

So many yummy options here. I personally loved the iced chai latte. Employees are friendly. Vibes are rad.

We visited this coffee shop on our last day in Encinitas and I cannot believe we waited our whole trip! It was the best coffee I had during our stay and their food was so amazing. I also found that there was ample seating, unlike most places in CA. Everyone in party was very pleased with their order. Great customer service too! read more

Dan S is so cool! He really helped us with what we wanted to order. Super friendly and awesome customer service.

This is my favorite spot for coffee and treats. The staff is always very helpful and super nice. Better Buzz has the best latte

Amazing service and amazing environment thankful we have a great coffee shop in Encinitas again.

Use to come every morning a few months ago to get some tea and açaí bowl, I come back today in the early morning and the team up front weren't very friendly except one And I waited 20 mins for my açaí bowl. The açaí bowl I had was literally 2 inches of açaí and just stacked with granola and fruit. Probably not coming back again. read more

Better buzz is my all time favorite coffee shop!! It has so many good and unique drinks to choose from, there are also some food choices like toast and muffins and they're surprisingly filling. So yummy!! read more

Excellent service , Quick and great food / juices ! Polite and way better than across the street health place that had horrible service !! A lot of gluten free options and good vibe . Happy employees !! read more

Oh my gosh. If your like me, you have to have your coffee every morning. Ok..So this place thinks about our earth, serves organic healthy food and snacks, and has the BEST coffee ever!! I am so bummed I don't live closer. Have almond milk, soy milk, gluten free...etc. Every thing from their acia bowls to the smoothies to the yummy deserts has been nothing but fresh, full of flavor and just how we ordered it. My absolute favorite spot before heading to swamis.....or anytime I'm in or passing through Encinitas!!! read more

Before ordering my matcha latte I asked the cashier if there are any added sugars to the matcha powder. She assured me there was not. I explained I couldn't have any added sugars. Then she asked if I wanted vanilla powder in matcha. I asked if there were sugars in that and she said yes. "I'm thinking, did you even hear what I just said?" I explained I only wanted the matcha if it's made with just green tea so no, I don't want vanilla. I received my matcha and it was beyond sweet, tasted synthetic. I asked the barista if there are added sugars to the matcha and she said yes it's a blend with added sugars. I sent back my drink and then had to wait an additional 20 mins for my Togo avocado toast. Employees need to be trained on what they are serving. read more

My husband and I have been here every day for the past week. We can't get over how good the energy is in this place. Everything we have tried on the menu has been 5 star. Better Buzz is a must! read more

Amazing consistent and friendly service every time I come to this location! They have good coffee but I only tried it once, since I can no longer have coffee. However, they're açaí bowls were delicious as well, and juices. I love this locations interior design, which is probably the main reason I come here (guilty). It's a must whenever we visit the beach here. Also, the first time I tried their chocolate smoothie it was amazing and satisfying. But the second time I stopped by to get another, it wasn't as great. It tasted really peanut buttery and not chocolatey at all. It kinda gave me a headache. Might try it another time again and hopefully the staff can make it better this time. read more

Literally eating the avocado toast and drinking my "Best Drink Ever" as I type this... Holy cow, I haven't received service like this in a LONG time. The girl at the register was so funny and nice and totally put up with my indecisiveness and my hungover self. She convinced me on the toast and I'm SO glad I did it. Also, The best drink ever, never fails me. They always put the right amount of half and half and vanilla. I use to be a barista so I know exactly how my drink should look (in color) and taste. The barista however today, was awesome. She definitely heard me ordering and totally laughed with us and when she handed me my drink, she informed me she added a shot and hope I didn't mind. NO I DON'T I LOVE IT THANK YOU! AND THEN. My friend and I are sitting outside with her Corgi named Libby and another staff member comes out to ask us if she wants a water bowl, which was so nice and I was impressed because they definitely didn't have to do that. SERIOUSLY EVERY ONE IS SO NICE HERE I LOVE IT. 10/10 thank you guys. I love this location, I live in Pacific Beach and yet I drive up to Encinitas to come here so THAT'S SAYIN SOMETHING. read more

The iced matcha latte gave me life! It was perfection but the greatest sandwich was pretty mediocre. I enjoyed the bagel and cream cheese over the sandwich. The atmosphere is super chill and laid back love the location in Encinitas! I definitely would come back with my friends. read more

We were visiting the area and my sister brought us here because she knows we enjoy a great cup of coffee. The cafe has an open space concept with a lot of seating options. It seems to fit the Encinitas vibe and definitely a buzz-worthy cafe. The coffee is robust and delicious and the açaí bowl is fresh and flavorful. The service is friendly and, I can't wait to return! Thank you! read more

This is a great place to catch up with someone over a coffee chat. There was sufficient seating, and they have a water dispenser for free use. read more

Good coffee and lots of room to plug in and get some work done or have a conversation.

I love Better Buzz. When I went a cortado I go here instead of Ironsmith, because they're creamier and you get more in the cup. Today was disappointing as it definitely wasn't half espresso and half steamed milk. It was more like espresso with a teaspoon of steamed milk. It's the first bad cortado I've had here, so I hope it was just a one time thing. read more

Some of the best coffee I've ever had! The atmosphere is very pleasant and aesthetically pleasing (if that's your thing). Super friendly and efficient staff. Can't wait to go back! read more

I always love coming to Better Buzz!! I will literally drive 25 minutes from my house for their coffee because the environment is always fun and friendly, and the coffee/tea is good too. It's a great location and also a great place to study!! read more

I'm definitely a fan of the Buzz and first tried their coffee at the Fashion Valley kiosk. I started with a Black/White Tux (1/2 mocha-1/2 white chocolate) as a treat and then was recently informed of the "Best Drink Ever" which I first tried at this location. IS it in fact the "Best Drink Ever?" That's definitely debatable but if you like a warm creamy Vanilla coffee, it's definitely tasty!! It does not have any milk products in it and is already sweetened to a certain level but you can ask for less sweetness if you like. Either way, it's yummy and I'm a fan! It's probably best I don't know the calorie count but I'll pretend it isn't more than most lattes these days. The first night I came to this location, I loved the vibe, openess and layout of this place! The lighting is bright, inviting and balanced providing an ambiance for study or leisure. It reminds me of a honeycomb with sections for work and productivity as well as socializing yet the open front windows allow breeze and "space" to feel apparent especially during the day. However, when I came yesterday to work around 2pm, this place was JAM packed and bees were busting out of the seams! It was a bit hectic and VERY noisy inside unless you were able to tuck away in a back corner. Even then, it was constantly boisterous with foot traffic and a constant line. I was lucky to find a table out front and beg a couple sitting along the windowfront to let me run my crappy laptop cord along the side wall for an outlet! GREAT so I could work outside and away from the chaos but the tables are not really the most conducive for working long hours- typical of most cafes but going for decor and design, these little comb-shaped tables definitely don't lend themselves to ergononmic conditions. I opted for the Vanilla Bean latte with almond milk but comparatively, I would say the "Best Drink Ever" was preferred. However, they are very different drinks especially since the latte has milk so again, it's all about your mood and personal preference or what your taste buds are craving. I have visited the Mission Beach location which is a bleep version of this mothership but have yet to check out their Point Loma store. They offer organic coffees and like most cafes these days, their own specialty espresso drinks. They also offer lots of fresh teas and some sweet treats and healthy eats including acai bowls, toasts and smoothies. I generally prefer not to support chain coffee shops unless necessary but I do enjoy me some Better Buzz and think they offer some good quality coffee- Life is better buzzed! read more

I've pass by this location on my 101 bike rides and I regret it every time. I know I already love their Chai Tea and Best Drink Ever! So, now that I've been inside this glorious location, I'm sad that I've been missing out by not stopping in. They have a grand inside with a bunch of seating and swag to rock.
