I was SO excited to come to this coffee shop I had found on Instagram. We made our way down here for an event and couldn't wait to come try the coffee! My husband and I got the BEST DRINK EVER! Yep, that's what it's called, the best drink ever! It was soooo good! And the blueberry muffin was amazing! Now I must go back home and crave the coffee until next time.. read more

Wandered in yesterday and simply had to return. Great vibe, lots of energy, and clean. Busy as heck both days. I had an iced chai, and on their advice that it was very sweet, I asked for it half sweet and it was delicious. Still a tad bit sweet for me, but very good. Wanted to try the avocado toast but there was a long wait for food and I didn't have the time. I'll try it next time because I will definitely come back here. read more

Better Buzz Coffee - 2/3 of their menu, failed to get the last board - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Encinitas, California

Their cold brew was like being on speed and the almond milk latte was expensive but other than that it's a nice addition to Encinitas. I still prefer Lofty coffee! read more

We stopped in passing through to San Diego recommended by a friend and we were. It disappointed. It was fresh, modern and awesome coffee! I got the mojito and it was THE best ever!! Totally go! read more

I loved the look of this place! I had high hopes for the coffee. My sister and I got an Americano and it was the worst I have ever had-I hate to say it! I didn't even put cream or sugar in it. Tasted like water. I would have gone back to get three extra shots, but we grabbed the coffee on the go. It's a bummer because there were so many other coffee shops we could have chosen. If you like a good coffee taste-DON'T GET THE AMERICANO!! read more

We had breakfast and coffee there this past weekend. We ordered the hippie acai bowl and the egg sandwich as well as lattes. Everything was excellent. Really good service as well. Very nice space and atmosphere . Will definitely stop by here next time I'm in the area. read more

Just the most epic coffee I've probably ever had on a Sunday. Staff was great and the vibe was on point.

I am here every Sunday morning, I love this place but I hate parking. Today I went there again, I tried to park, no way. There are only 3 spaces on the back parking......really! Leave this place, wasn't able to drink my favorite coffee and eat. read more

This is the best coffee shop in Encinitas' Main Street with so many great options. Yes the lines can be long, but I've never waited more than five minutes for my coffee. The tables are usually full but just don't plan on trying to work in a small place, there is a great outdoor mall across the street where you can take your coffee and work, or walk around the main street. I visit Better Buzz multiple times every year when I visit Encinitas, and buy their Vanilla Powder they use in the "Best Drink Ever" and use it at home. A must try when visiting! read more

Slowest place I have ever been to - 30 minutes to get an available bowl and smoothie from the time I ordered. Management needs to do some process improvements. To go orders shouldn't take that long. Good food and vibe but poor kitchen mgmt. read more

My family can't get enough of this place and in a world short on customer service had the nicest and most helpful employee take care of us tonight. Shout out to Emma! Thanks so much!! read more

Coffee and breakfast was delicious! Just some issues with ordering and service, however. Boyfriend and I ordered 2 drinks with some modifications as well as a couple breakfast and bakery items. Order placed online. Our total was $39.42. When my bf went to pick up our order, he got to the car when he realized they forgot my drink entirely. We had already paid for it, so he ran back inside to realize they had given it to the person in front of him. They remade it no issue when he showed our receipt, but upon reviewing our receipt again, they also made the 2nd drink a regular [small] when we paid for a large. We paid $9.40 for that drink so it would've been nice to get the size we ordered. They also didn't include napkins, cutlery or straws. We had ordered 2 bacon ciabatta sandwiches w chipotle aoli on the side and 2 sides of dressed arugula so napkins and a fork would've been nice. Both of our drinks were thick and really needed straws so we stopped at a 7-11 nearby to grab 2 slurpee straws. Pastry items were both cold too. For $40 I would've expected my pastry items to be warm, straws in our drinks, and napkins for our greasy sandwiches. Prob won't come to this location again read more

I'd rather go here than Starbucks any day. The coffee is as good as it gets and I love the avocado breakfast sandwich!

Coffee is amazing but the wait is atrocious. So I made the mistake of coming on a Saturday morning at 10:30. And although I count 3 people behind the counter making coffee and 1 taking orders, my single cup of coffee took 20 minutes. Unacceptable and as I said, the coffee is good but not worth the wait. read more

Best coffee by far! Try the Mint Mojito coffee not to compare! Pure perfection. If you're not in the mood for something sweet, cold press coffee on nitro is the way to go! Smooth and delightful read more

encinitas location sports a great decor. Feel like I'm introspective there. Love it. I can only speak to the decaf because that's all I drink. They would not make me a decaf pour over. Why not I wonder. They offer pour overs in regular coffee. So I laid out $4 for a decaf Americano. It was not very good. Weak flavor. The decaf at Coco's is better. So sorry cause it's a cool place. read more

great atmosphere, easy going...sit by the window and people watch on 101. Cool hang out, just a bit noisy. read more

Disappointed. Two stars for the good vibe, zero stars for quality of their coffee. The whole bean coffee does not contain roast dates... WHAT?! They have the fancy tools, but don't use them well. Pour over single origin coffee, close to $5, but the barista didn't take her time. Rather than pouring a slow steady stream clockwise, she dumped the whole kettle in the V60 and let the coffee sort itself out. It seems like they care more about selling things than the art/craft of coffee. read more

Love the vibe of this shop. A little loud because of the open layout but thats ok. Definitely more of a socializing coffee shop than a study or work shop. Coffee truly does get you buzzed. Pretty much like the atmosphere of a bar but in the morning/afternoon. Sometimes hard to find parking, but the 101 location makes for a lot of fun. Usually busy so unless you order black coffee don't expect super fast grab and go service. Best acai in the area too. read more

I just wanted to say thank you to the gems/baristas who not only serve the best coffee and tea but who shine with a great attitude and personality daily. What a wonderful way to start our day! read more

Great coffee in Encinitas. Love the location!!! I try to stop by once a week

Love this place. Been coming here for days and days. The staff is awesome (especially, Ariel!) and the drinks are amazing! Definitely try the Moonlight Date! read more

One of my favorites! Great lattes, acquire bowls and avocado toast. Nice job with decor too. Sometimes hard to find a place to sit!

If you're a coffee person like I am get your buzz made black! They blend it with more coffee than milk for less dairy added to make it less of a dessert drink. Mint Mocha Buzz made Black is amazing! read more

Bought coffee beans there for the first time last week. Seems like a happening place even on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff. Beans made good coffee the next morning, but they do get dinged a star for not putting the roast date on the package. They do have the standard story about they move a lot of beans so everything is always fresh, but I would feel a lot better if there was a date to back that up. read more

This place is just amazing!!! Very good drinks, coffee and especially the Acai Bowls. Love coming here for the OG Bowl. The employees here are amazing, always smiling and makes the places for enjoyable. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!! read more

Love their coffee! WARNING for all my lactose-intolerant people: there is a small amount of nonfat dry milk in the vanilla powder. So that means no best drink ever :( read more

Great coffee and very yummy açaí bowls!! They also helped me when I had a sleeping baby and needed to get out quickly

Amazing. From Ohio and wish we had places like this. The coffee is great and the açaí bowls were the best we had. Went there twice on our stay. Will definitely be back next time we're in town. Iced coffee and açaí bowl was a perfect breakfast! read more

Not used to getting friendly, top-notch service in San Diego (sadly) and especially not often in a coffee shop. However, we came into better buzz tonight and had such a great experience and met Cate- who was such a doll. I can't even remember the last time I took the time to write a yelp review but we had to share how much we appreciated the great service and amazing barista! read more

Absolutely love the ambiance here, such a nice shop to have in Encinitas. Their coffee is great and sandwiches were pretty good too. Just have a hard time finding a spot to sit because it's becoming so popular. Other than that, I love this place! read more

Favorite coffee joint in Encinitas. Vibe is super fun, very open location on Highway 101. Coffee is great and the small menu is also tasty if you're looking for a snack to go with those drinks. I go for the cold brew on nitro, but I'm told all their drinks are equally delicious. Sometimes the line can get a bit long, but always worth the short wait. read more

Great experience! Service was friendly and the Mint Mocha Iced Drink was delicious! Very trendy interior design with a lot of uniquely re-purposed equipment. Also a great location, being that it is a short walk to the beach! Provided for a great date night. Thanks! read more

A definite go!!!! The kombucha raspberry was delicious. We had the PB, bacon, and honey sandwich which was unexpectedly yummy! Guess bacon goes with everything. Also had the Hippie Bowl - it was so good! Our mochas were tasty. Totally a wonderful place to meet for anything. The atmosphere is open and the workers were very pleasant. read more

I really like their coffee, especially the hazelnut divinity. But that's where the love ends. Their ginger kombucha was too artificial tasting. Their lavender black tea, I thought was too sweet. Most of all, their service is pretty inefficient and the process of buying was too many steps and took too long. read more
