Nice decoration ! Nice customer service.regular latte price was reasonable (4$) and taste was good.first i ordered vanilla late then it tasted to me so sweet.i went back and asked if i exchange my vanilla late to regular one .the lady was very kind she said that "of course, no problem" .and i think she was the business owner.i am very glad to go there.will be back soon! read more

LOVE the hippie bowl. The vibe of this place is so uplifting and just makes me feel like I can take on the day. The location is on point, I can have my acai and head straight to the beach. Their avocado toast is really good too. I usually get it on gluten free bread (love the option!!) Must go!! read more

This place has the best avocado toast ever! Big, thick slices of multi-grain bread, topped with avocado, and cherry tomatoes with arugula. I keep the feta cheese off and add a poached egg, and I am in heaven. I'm only giving 3 stars because Better Buzz is good, but overpriced. They are always busy, and they generally don't seem to have their sh*t together staff wise, which answers the question as to why they are always hiring. I'll still go because I'm a sucker for avocado toast on the go. PS. Don't get the chai latte unless you want 3 days worth of sugar. read more

Super cute!! I love the decor and everything about it! Down to the real espresso mugs. The avocado toast is absolutely delicious and I love that they serve organic coffee. My first time I went I ordered a chai tea latte(my go to at Lofty) it was sooo sweet!! It tasted like melted down ice cream, I ended up throwing it out after a couple sips. I was next recommended the "best drink ever" but half sweetened, another friend said it's too sweet. I got it and wasn't impressed, again, I couldn't even finish it. It was still extremely sweet and didn't have much flavor. My friend got a normal latte and it was ok, I was told a long time ago that you know it's a good latte when you can put a design in it. These are just foamy like Starbucks. I'll stick to goodonya and lofty for coffee but definitely go there for the toast! read more

The best drink ever is definitely great and the avocado toast is a must for first timer! I love the bread!

Good cozy place super comfy and sweet ! The place is clean and modern lots of place to sit. Staff friendly and fun. Ppl go there to sit in talk or work on there laptops so I wouldn't go with kids Drink was decent read more

Good coffee and espresso but service is super slow and not worth the wait on weekends. High schoolers behind the counter and in the back just don't quite get it done unfortunately. read more

Great coffee + tea drinks and super friendly awesome staff.. Shootout to Anita, Jessica, and Nicole!!

Love better buzz! Delicious coffee and great food. However, $6 for a small piece of toast with some avocado doesn't seem like a fair price. It was delicious but I'm no where near full... read more

I had the best experience here, the cashier Robert was so nice! Great service and even made conversation when my card was being slow, although I was in a hurry being treated as a person not just a customer is a nice change from other coffee shops I've been to. Thanks Robert! read more

Nice atmosphere with good vibes and great cup of buzz. I enjoy the chai tea with soy.

Love love love this new addition to the streets of Encinitas! Even when it's crowded the Better Buzz employees make sure everyone gets their buzz on! I'm a big chai latte fan and theirs was one of the best I've had; very creamy, not too spicy, and mixed right there in front of me (not like at Starbucks where they just pour it out of a carton). If you're ever in need of a place to meet up with an old friend or just a drink to go I'd highly recommend it! read more

My new favorite coffee place in downtown Encinitas. Great selection of coffee, teas and menu and baked good I tems. I love the vibe of the place. Despite a very long weekend line, the service was quick. Everyone in our group loved their drinks - from regular ice coffee; hot latte; Dirty Chai and Best Drink Ever. We took ours to go and went down to the beach to chill as all the seats were taken with those eating breakfast. But glancing at the food, I definitely must come back for breakfast, lunch or even a snack. read more

Great ambiance - great coffee- the checkout is beyond slow especially with one register considering the volume this place gets. It would be of great service to their customers to get a second checkout and have them both going at the same time. I've actually seen people leave the line half-way through because it's has taken way longer than expected. read more

Loving the mid day double espresso pick me ups! Thanks you Better Buzzzzzzz

Delicious mochas (hot or cold), but sadly never anyplace to sit because all the seats are taken for hours and hours by people who have come to use the Wi-fi there. We go there often and no matter what time of day it is, the place is crowded with no seats available. They have delicious sandwiches, too, the caprese being my all time favorite. I'd give it more stars though if I didn't always have to sit out in the parking lot in my car to eat my sandwich and drink my amazing cup of coffee. read more

Love the vibe and decor. Drove 30 minutes to try out the Acai bowl, it did NOT disappoint. Was delicious.

YES! Amazing coffee and friendly staff in encinitas- plus they have an adorable sitting area for the littles. Great selection of tea- I just wish they actually had a tea list so I did not have to ask them to repeat the options everytime. Warning, it is very popular so plan to take your time getting your drink! read more

My favorite coffee shop in town even though I have to drive 20 min out of my way to get to any location! Best drink ever is delicious but my fave is the honey lavender latte. Yum!!! Th food is also delicious and the avocado toast is to die for. read more

I was really excited to try this place- read the great reviews and heard good things from coworkers- I almost wish I had just gone to Starbucks. The ambience is great and the staff is extremely friendly but the coffee is not very good. Since this was my first time I asked what the most popular was and mentioned that I only liked a little sweet, usually get half sweet at Starbucks. The barista was super friendly and recommended the honey latte... Which is pure syrup. I tried to give it to coworkers, one sip and no one wanted it. I even tried dumping 3/4 of it out and adding a full cup of coffee and it STILL tasted like pure sugar. Yuck. Had to dump the entire $6 drink out. Won't be back. On a more positive note I also tried the acai bowl which was good. For friendly staff and half of my order edible- 3 stars! read more

Best Coffee shop around! The coffee is excellent, the food is excellent and the staff is awesome. I love the environment and the vibe. Definitely 5 stars! read more

The place is cute, trendy, spacious, and full of life! Everyone seems to have their MAC books on the coffee table, that or having a business meeting... whatever the case, when we arrived it was just so loud and busy and high energy. The coffee counter is located in the back/center area, which was different, and there were tables all around us so it was crowded. I felt like I was always in someone's personal space while standing there waiting for my coffee. I didn't really enjoy this place much because its just too loud for me, but to be fair, the coffee was good and it was a nice clean environment. read more

Their custom Drinks are Way TOO Sugary. Their customers are steady, but they seem to live there. They arrive and never leave. People that are drawn there are often times not the people you would like to hang out with: Loud, obnoxious, rude. The place is noisy. Their best thing is their Kombuchas, but really....It is supposed to be a coffee place, so what is up with that. In my opinion, it is more the CRAZE than anything else. It is pretty inside, I'll give them that...IF you can find a seat. Also, their avocado on toast is pretty terrific. That is why I don't give the place a 2 star. read more

Awesome atmosphere, menu, staff, and a delicious acai bowl. A little bummed they don't want people with laptops on the low tables but I understand their rationale. read more

Love the vibe!! The environment is awesome and the employees are super friendly. The iced Best Drink in the World is probably the best iced coffee I've ever had. Love the location too...you can get the coffee and walk down to the beach. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area. These need to be more everywhere lol read more

Nothing fancy for me. I know I have used their drive-thru's but I still wasn't super impressed. All I know it's a place you either LOVE or Meh/ can't say Hate - but wouldn't go back... so for us, we don't go back. There are so many GREAT coffee places that we'd rather just go. You be the judge. read more

This is a beautiful coffee shop. The tables and chairs are of really good quality and the "vibe" in the place is great. However, the coffee is only ok. It's decent, but not what u would expect from a company that spent so much on their build out. read more

Coffee is average. Service is slow chaos. Staff is comprised of people too cool to serve anyone not their beach buddy. Waited much too long for a simple Americano while multiple customers who came in after me were served before me. No reason for me to return. read more

Ew I walked in and saw a cat standing and eating on the table. Promptly walked out. So gross and unsanitary.

Excellent coffee, cool staff, very hip/unique interior design. Yum. Will be back fo-sho.

One of our favourite places to stop at when in Encinitas, the baristas are always so nice to us. The Best Drink Ever is one of our favourites, although some of the teas have slowly made it onto our favourite's list, especially that blackberry mint green tea they had a couple months back. They also have gluten-free muffins and gluten-free cookies, hoping they may start adding vegan pastries to their menu soon. They also have the BEST acai bowls we have ever had, along with the added almond butter and gluten-free granola. Although, it may get crowded there at times it is well worth the wait and the baristas are always very quick. read more

The coffee is nice and strong, a little too sweet for my taste, so I get the white mocha with half a scoop and it's perfect. The acai bowl with blueberries, banana, granola and honey is fresh, delicious and addictive. read more

The food is absolutely terrible and the coffee is mediocre at best. You'd be better off driving another 5 minutes north and going to the Pannikin. read more

I love Better Buzz - just not the Encinitas location so much. The quality is inconsistent and the customer service could be better. There are times that I wait for 5-7 minutes and it's not that busy. Earlier this week, I ordered a large hot black tea latte. It was luke warm and there was so much foam on the top that the actual tea only filled 70% of the large cup. Unfortunately I had already driven away when I took a sip and couldn't drink it until I got home to heat it up in the microwave, which is when I realized I didn't even get a full drink once I removed the lid. This is the second time in a month this has happened. In fairness, the first time, I caught it before I got in my car and they did make me a new drink when I returned to complain. This time I was in a hurry and didn't check my drink as I thought the last time was a fluke. It's not a big deal but the drinks are expensive- quite a bit more than Starbucks and Coffee Bean so I expect more consistency. I have been to the Better Buzz in San Marcos many times and never had any issues with quality or customer service. I am going to drive to the San Marcos Better Buzz even though it's farther. I hope the Encinitas location can improve as I visit Encinitas often and would love to buy a tea but not when I can't get consistent quality. read more

I love to come to Encinitas to get my haircut, walk the town, walk along the beach etc. I've been looking for a great spot to hangout and have a great cup of coffee, good food, a place w a great vibe. Staff all friendly and the energy is awesome. Glad your here. read more

Super cool place with a large variety of coffee options, as well as flavor and milk options. Very friendly baristas and quick!

Very good cappuccino (high quality) and pleasant atmosphere. Maybe parking is a little tough at times. Very friendly staff.

Best Drink Ever is just that! Love the new location in Encinitas- super cute!

Really annoying situation. I drove out here, about a half hour away, to get coffee that a friend recommended. Me and my wife walked in the doors only to be told by a group of employees that they were not going to give us coffee because they were having a work competition. During work hours. That's great. Thanks better buzz. Probably won't be coming back just because of how annoyed this made me. read more

Great service! Great food and drinks. The only thing I would say needed improvement is need to be able to buy a gift card on line.
