Nice friendly staff, good coffee, good croissants. Good amount of seating with lots of light inside which makes for a productive work sesh. Lots of parking make this an easy plaza as well. Really enjoyed my horchata latte. read more

Sadly better buzz use to be amazing when they first came out ten years ago. I gave this one a try and got an Americano it was luke warm and had horrible flavor. We won't be back. read more

Better Buzz has finally opened in Costa Mesa, and it's worth the wait! The space is clean, organized, and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The lines move quickly, thanks to the friendly and efficient staff, and you can even order through the app to skip the wait. I tried their signature "Best Drink Ever"--it was great, but not quite the best I've had. They have a fantastic variety of options, from handcrafted hot and iced drinks to smoothies, bowls, sandwiches, wraps, and even cold brew on tap. There's something for everyone, and I definitely recommend stopping by! read more

Ok, so updating my review here because it's been some time since the cafe opened. While the app can still see improvement with the way it works, the mobile orders have been processing much more smoothly than in past, and the baristas and managers always give me good morning vibes to kickstart my day. What better way to start your grueling workday mornings than a good cup of coffee and a boost of friendly energy? A quick shout out to the managers of the establishment as well - stellar customer service and always greeting customers like we've always been friends. I was pleasantly surprised one of the managers, Zefe, recognized I was a regular here and we had a nice chat! Love the Better Buzz chains. So happy that they are moving closer to the Los Angeles area. I was a little bummed that my season holiday drink was bitter. Almost like they burnt the coffee. I will say the location is so convenient and they have ample parking. My pastry was yummy and I will definitely go back and get my regular drink option. read more

So glad to finally have a better buzz closer to me!! Would always go anytime I was in SD. Hadn't gotten a chance to check out San Clemente yet but when I heard there was one in Costa Mesa I knew I had to check it out. Definitely worth visiting if you haven't been. Their drinks are incredible! You really cannot go wrong with anything you order. I did not got a breakfast sandwich this last time I went but I always love when coffee shops have a food item as well. This location was in a great shopping center, loved the inside. Service was great, highly recommend! read more

I also had the Snickerdoodle coffee, but it was way too sweet for my taste (though you can ask them to adjust the sweetness). One area that could use improvement is the layout or service flow. They have a menu at the entrance, but I was asked to order while still in line, and I couldn't see the menu anymore, which caught me off guard. I ended up ordering the only items I could remember. It would be helpful if they had printed menus that customers could hold while waiting in line, especially when it's busy. The space could also benefit from a few more outdoor tables and maybe a speaker system. I recently visited this new coffee shop and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The Americano coffee I ordered was subpar, and there were no napkins available at the counter where you get sugars and other condiments. The staff member I interacted with was neither knowledgeable nor particularly friendly. When I asked for napkins, they didn't seem to have any around. Additionally, I noticed there was no honey available, which was surprising given that the shop's theme revolves around honeycomb and bees. I expected honey to be offered as a natural sweetener option. Overall, I found the experience lacking, and I believe Starbucks offers better coffee and friendlier service, which is quite telling. read more

I've been to Better Buzz multiple times, but this visit was honestly the worst and completely changed my opinion. I ordered a hot coffee, and they couldn't even make it hot. They didn't communicate anything to me, didn't explain why, and just handed me a lukewarm drink like it was no big deal. On top of that, the worker had an attitude the entire time, which made the whole experience feel disrespectful. The service was unprofessional, and the way I was treated made me not even want to step foot back in the store. I was so frustrated that I considered asking for a refund and that's how bad it was. Overall, this was disappointing, disrespectful, and not worth returning for. Never coming back after this experience. read more
