My friends live near this place and recommended it for dinner one night. It's a smaller Italian restaurant that makes FRESH pasta! And it's delicious! Our server Charlie was fantastic!!! Our food was fantastic and loved all the recommendations! I can't wait to come back and try something new. Everything was so good. I wish I took more pics of everyone's dishes but we ate everything so quick!

Came for parents anniversary and first time going. Didn't think it would be busy but for a Tuesday it was lively. Service from Charlie and the manager was excellent. We had picky parents and substituted a lot and requested many sides such as butter salt pepper etc and we got it with a smile. Food wasn't rushed and definitely get a wine as it was spectacular. Food was fresh too as flour and pasta is made there so less carby and healthier. Good portions and bill was much less than expected. We will be back for more.

I had the truffle pasta from here, and it was the best pasta I've ever had!! First time having fresh truffle in pasta, and it was a game changer. Prices are reasonable too and food is delicious!! All pasta is made in house which makes all the difference

Based on two separate dining experiences: a Friday night and Saturday night Live music on Friday, it's quite loud (jazz/blues) so take into consideration if you're trying to have conversations. Otherwise this place seems to be always full, and reservations highly recommended if you want a booth table. Service: A+. Bread basket always comes out quick. Server checks in a couple times, not intrusive. Parmesan grated at table side. People seem to be happy working here. The second time it might've been the owner who gave us proofed dough for the kiddo to play with. Very fun sensory experience for them, the table behind us got the same thing too, in addition to kids menu coloring sheet. Food wise, never disappointing. Didn't feel over greasy, great portions. The garlic spinach was really fresh and they did not shy from the garlic either. Breaded pork cutlet was juicy and perfect. Tiramisu was flavorful, with a right hint of liqueur. Pasta is wonderful. One day we'll try the pizza.

What a wonderful find! This reminds me of Reales when Bobby Reale and his wife were running the show. I joined a bud for lunch and the lunch specials were excellent. I had the spicy penned chicken pasta. It was presented el dente' and had a sufficient amount of chicken. These are large portions. My dining companion ordered the pizza paninni we could have split this. He took half home. We did start with the fried calamari. The squid were lightly breaded and fried perfectly - not rubbery. Our server Sean was more than attentive and was able to provide excellent customer service. There is live music on Tuesday and Friday evenings. It's the same Frank Sinatra themed guy who plays(ed) at Reales. On Wednesday evening there is a Jazz guitar musician. They do have a full bar and some interesting wine offerings. Bellissima is delizioso!!

Sometimes in life things just do not go according to plan. My hubby and I decided to have a nice dinner this evening because I will be traveling this week. About 30 minutes before we were going to head towards the restaurant, I received this message, "Good evening, This is the host team at XXX reaching out to inform you that due to a power outage we will not be opening for business this evening." No problem...life happens. Next, we tried to grab some comfort food because at this juncture, we needed comforting. As we walked into the restaurant, a customer told us that restaurant had already closed. Yikes! The restaurant owner was kind to recommend Bellissima. Great choice! Nicole, our server, brought out piping hot fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vingegar....so delicious. Then we ordered the lamb shoulder (me) and the salmon pasta (hubby). Dinner back on track...right...wrong! Nicole came back to inform us that they had sold out of the lamb shoulder. I decided to get the salmon dish my hubby ordered. As it turns out, this was some of the best pasta we have eaten in a long time....very pleased with our dishes. The salmon tasted like it came off a wood-fired grill steaming hot (lightly crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside). The penne pasta was cooked at the right level. The pesto and creme made the pasta very enjoyable to eat. We ended the evening with a piece of Italian creme cake, which tasted like a cross between carrot and Italian cream cake. Bellissima...very beautiful experience.

Stopped in with the fam on a Friday night. The place was hopping even at 5pm, but we were seated immediately nonetheless. A sweet older gentleman was crooning Sinatra tunes. All very charming. What's most notable here is the fresh pasta. You don't see that much anymore. You can really tell the difference. It comes with an extra cost, but for an every once and while treat, it's worth it. The fresh bread and pizza crusts are also done right. We enjoyed the Cacio e Pepe, pasta carbonara, chicken Marsala, fettuccine Alfredo, and kids pepperoni pizza. Our waiter was kind and helpful, taking good care of us. It's a popular spot for a reason. If you're in the mood for a special take on Italian-American classics, come check it out.

We went to Bellissima tonight for the first time and we'll definitely be back. The ambience is lovely, perfect for a date night or special occasion but also casual enough to show up in shorts and a t-shirt if you are so inclined. There was a guitar soloist there tonight (Thursday) providing pleasant background music, which was just the right volume, not overwhelming our table conversation. First of all, the lasagna is amazing! When ordering, be sure to ask your server to add bolognese sauce on top. It makes it extra meaty and delicious! I think it was only $2 extra which was more than worth it. The lasagna serving is quite large, definitely shareable. Despite giving a big chunk of my serving to my husband, I still had enough leftover to bring home for another meal tomorrow. The lasagna noodles are made fresh and each bite melts in your mouth. Possibly the best lasagna I've ever had! My husband ordered the chicken piccata which came with a side of super cheesy and delicious Cacio e Pepe (fresh spaghetti). The serving size was very generous. He couldn't finish it all so that's on tap for tomorrow too. Our grandson ordered the penne a la vodka with chicken which he loved and took home half of his pasta. The 3 of us shared 2 chocolate covered cannolis which were so delicious! The perfect end to our meal. There is plenty of easy parking. The restaurant is located in the same shopping center as Moviehouse theater in Four Points area. Enjoy!

VG Must Stand for 'Very Gaslit'" We called ahead. Like responsible adults. We specifically asked, "Do you have vegan pasta?" They said yes. Confidently. Reassuringly. Boldly. We arrive. Suddenly? No vegan pasta. None. Never heard of it. Vegan pasta is apparently a myth, like Bigfoot or competent management. And let's discuss the menu labeling. Everything with "VG" next to it is supposedly vegan. Cute. Except it's actually vegetarian. Because why let facts get in the way of dairy? If you're going to lie, at least lie with commitment. So we pivot. They charge us an extra $3 for gluten-free pasta -- because apparently removing gluten requires a team of scientists and a government grant. What arrives? Green pesto pasta that tasted like someone rinsed the bowl after making real pesto for another table and served us the leftover water. I've had more flavor from a damp napkin. Then comes the surf and turf spaghetti. The shrimp still had the tails on. Because nothing enhances a romantic dinner like performing seafood surgery with a butter knife. And they weren't deveined. So not only are you fighting for your life with shrimp tails, you're also getting a surprise digestive gamble. But wait. There's more. They bring out oil for the bread. The oil has white flakes floating in it. Parmesan? Mold? Fossils? The ghost of dinners past? I don't know, but I do know I wasn't about to dip anything into that crime scene. Now remember -- we called ahead to confirm vegan options before driving there. The manager said he would take money off the bill for the confusion. Did he? Of course not. Apparently "I'll take care of it" means "I'll vanish and hope you forget because confrontation requires effort." And the staff? Oh. The staff. They acted like us entering the restaurant personally ruined their evening. I am so sorry we interrupted your very busy schedule of standing around and pretending refilling water is an Olympic sport. The energy was: "How dare you come here and order food from our restaurant." All of this for $50. Fifty dollars. For $50 I expect: Properly cleaned shrimp Accurate menu labeling Sauce that isn't basil-flavored bath water Oil without mysterious floating debris And employees who don't look like I just asked them to donate a kidney Instead, we got a culinary trust fall with no one there to catch us. Would I come back? I'd rather eat the parking lot gravel. At least that would be honest about what it is.

The restaurant was pretty with high ceilings and very open. Our waiter was attentive and familiar with the menu, easily answering specific questions we had. We started with salads which were very fresh and good, and I had a special of salmon with penne pasta which was delicious. My expectations for Italian food in this area are not high but Bellissima's food was delicious. Our party ordered a variety of dishes -- pizza, lasagna, veal -- and everyone raved about their dishes. We topped off the evening with one of the best key lime pies I've ever had and a special cake made with ricotta and pistachios. Very delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes

Just wanted to update after coming back several times. Still loving this location. Our go to Italian spot now. Food is always great, live music is great, service is always great. The owner was in this last time and was nice to see her checking in. We went earlier than usual around 5:30 on a Saturday and it was packed. I do suggest getting an rsvp if you have a larger crowd, we only had 2 people so they go us in fast. The one thing I could say for feedback is the olive oil they give for bread, i ordered extra bread and the amount of oil is minimal, so offering a bit more dipping oil would be nice.

I had made a reservation a few weeks prior for our anniversary month. When we sat at our table they had a cute little greeting card from the staff wishing us a happy anniversary. Pro Tip: Just make a reservation way in advance and if you make it you make it. Even if you don't think you will be able to make it. If you can't go just cancel with enough advance. We started with the Meatballs that pair wonderfully with their Italian Bread. Flavorful and plentiful dish and def get the bread! Next came the Bone Marrow & Tuna Crudo. I will say though for some reason after we finished our Meatballs it took them quite a while to bring our dishes after that. Bone Marrow was divine and also paired well with the Italian Bread. Tuna Crudo was not what I expected because it was warm and I was expecting it to be cold. But it was good and I love eggplant. Our main dish was the Agnolotti Alla Piemontese. From the description it seemed to hit all the boxes since we are meat lovers (contains braised beef & pork shoulder) and truffle. I love me some truffle. When we ordered the Agnolotti Alla Piemontese I asked him does it have a lot of truffle flavor because I love truffle. He said oh we can definitely add more truffle if you would like when the dish comes out. When the dish came they had the chef come shave an extra truffle on the dish. I honestly could not taste the difference. Was not enough truffle flavor for me. Note the extra truffle is an added charge. Overall lovely experience. If we return we will need to try some different dishes to give it another try.

As it turns out the coupon was only good during the week and it was Saturday. No big deal. I ordered a Meatball Sandwich, my friend an Italian Sandwich (after asking our excellent young waitress about it). She brought out two very tasty types of bread with olive oil for dipping. The sandwiches came with Garlic Fries. The Fries were delicious but unfortunately mine were lukewarm. I certainly could have asked for a fresh portion, but was hungry enough not to bother. That's the reason my rating wasn't 5 Star. Because the restaurant was pretty empty on this Saturday afternoon, I feel the Chef shouldn't have sent out fries that weren't piping hot. The Meatball Sandwich however was marvelous. Freshly made, tasty meatballs with sauce and cheese on their focaccia bread was a real treat. I took half home and ate the rest for dinner. Meatball appetizers were big and beautifully blended globs of ground beef and sausage served with sauce. Now the it's Primo time. The Molto Grande Patti. Pork Chops with Giardiniera . Somebody forgot to make golden brown cutlets so they served an overcooked slab of pork chop underneath an assortment of pickled vegetables over a bed of pasta in red sauce. The only taste was pickled everything. Back to the kitchen and off the table. Veal Piccata consisted of two slices of meat, non tenderized, non dredged in flour and non pan seared. If the traditional Lasagna is too time consuming to make then don't fake it with a casserole that the old Irish Lady makes. Good lasagna is made with layers of pasta, rich sauce, gooey cheese made with ricotta, mozzarella and parmigiano cheeses and loads of ground beef and sausage.
