    Meatball sub
    Danielle R.

I love coming here for happy hour! Great deals including a glass of prosecco and boozy popsicle (so fun and whimsical). On this visit, I tried the meatball sub on happy hour and I will certainly be back for this beauty. The meatballs are homemade and packed with flavor. Perfect meat to bread ratio. They toast the bread and each bite was crave-able. Plenty of bar seating with friendly service.

We went for brunch and I got the cinnamon rolls and a breakfast sandwhich. The sandwhich was decent but the cinnamon rolls were raw on the middle and dry on the outside and the icing was reminiscent of sour cream. They didn't charge me for the cinnamon roll and the server was very apologetic. The patio was nice and I would go back and try dinner but I don't recommend their brunch.

this place has the BEST pizza dough and crust that i've had in a WHILE. boyfriend took me here and it did NOT disappoint. I ate a whole pizza by myself. the menu here is small, but they let you add and remove toppings to make the pizza your own. i totally could've eaten a second pizza if i wasn't so full .

Haven't visited in a few years as we live in Longmont. Forget how excellent it is! Both the pizzas and pastas were spot on. Service was spot on and the restaurant is super cute. The wine program is a bit limited but covers a lot of ground and we found a couple of nice bottles. Now that they back on our radar sure we'll be back more often! A+

Went here for Denver restaurant week since their $45 three course menu looked to be one of the best values. I thought the dishes were generously sized (some may have been a tad smaller than the regular menu but appropriately so given the pricing). Between the two of us we got to try 6 dishes and thought the appetizers and pasta/pizza were phenomenal but the entrees didn't impress as much. The pasta is very clear housemade and cooked well. The wood fire pizza was the thin and doughy style I love. The oso buco (beef short rib) was not the tender fall of the bone meat I was hoping for and a little tougher than expected. The place itself is in the smaller side and very tightly packed. We were seated near a big window and it was quite chilly to the point my husband wore his jacket the whole mean (and I just sucked it up). As for most trendy spots, it's quite loud inside. Cat was our server and she was wonderful and provided excellent and friendly service!

Could not recommend this place enough! Went during happy hour, which is only provided in their bar section inside. Their happy hour was great! Most times happy hours have limited food selection and we were surprised at the several options they had. We got the cheese pizza and added pepperonis for a charge. We also got the friend ravioli, salad and meatball sub. The portions are big! You can easily just get the salad as a meal. The meatball sub was big as well, liked that it came in a soft bread! What we got was enough for 2 people. They also have drinks during their happy hour! The ambiance is great, has a small patio section and has community tables with enough space. The service was good and quick!

My husband and I shared: - Fried Ravioli - Cacio E Pepe - Spicy Scallop Pizza - Garlic Bread - Insalada - Butterscotch Budino We arrived right before happy hour ended around 4:45 and I think this is the best time to come. You can order the cheaper options off of the happy hour menu and then stay and add on anything you want from the dinner menu which starts at 5. My favorite thing was the spicy scallop pizza. I've never had a pizza like it and I loved the combination of flavors. Everything else was also fantastic. The garlic bread is a must. Italian American food isn't one of my go to cuisines, but this spot impressed me and I would love to go back to try more of the menu.

Delicious Italian food and swift service accompanied with underground hip hop classics. What's not to love? My wife and I went to Bar Dough to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations online for their dinner menu which starts at 5:00 PM. Thankfully we got there a little early so we were able to order the Fried Ravioli, Cacio e Pepe, and the Insalada at happy hour prices. I'd recommend you do the same just to save a few dollars, as the portion sizes are the same. For dinner, we ordered Garlic Bread and Spicy Scallop Pizza. Both excellent, my favorite savory dishes of the evening. And then to finish everything off we shared a Butterscotch Budino which was unbelievably good dessert.

Delicious handmade pastas, well seasoned meatball and the most unique hazelnut tiramisu we've ever had! We were seated pretty quickly on the high tops (reservations typically recommended). It's a very cute trendy Italian spot with dim/fun lamps and decor. We saw a lot of people there for date nights! I was absolutely obsessed with their hazelnut tiramisu that we even took one to go. Definitely a must try! Not pictured are some of their drinks (limoncello, margaritas etc) but keep in mind the cost does add up pretty quickly! We ended up leaving with a $300 check but it was delicious and worth it!

Food and service was good. Interesting that they specifically call out the 20% as not being a tip - I think that's really shady.
    Thomas S.

Food and service was good. Shady they specially say the 20% ads-on isn't a tip or gratuity. What the hell is it then?! Wouldn't go back for this shady tactic alone.

    Focaccia Garlic Bread
    Ali W.

Food: We got - (1) Focaccia garlic bread (and a $3 side of marinara) which was phenomenal but silly to charge that much for a dipping side (I did expect this when he asked if wanted something to dip but 1.50 would have been more reasonable) (2) Wood fired prawns which were huge but I personally didn't like. They do come with the head (not a problem for me) but my complaint was I just don't prefer shrimp in marinara sauce. Seemed a bit off flavor wise. (3) Bucatini All Americana which was perfection. A fairly traditional pasta in red sauce. The pasta was perfectly al dente Service: Excellent Ambience: adorable, low lighting, trendy Giving it a 4 because of the shrimp dish and the wine was not all great in my personal opinion

Always love bardough. I especially coming for happy hour and brunch. Was in last weekend and sat at the bar where I always receive excellent service. The pasta tends to change and this week it was mafaldine one of my favorites. I also had bottomless aperol which to my knowledge is the only place with it! I'll be back soon.

    Shruti J.

Absolute five stars for the pasta here! I think you could probably order any pasta off their menu and still love it, excellent pasta preparation. We also got the Verde pizza which was refreshing and had a good crunch to it and our friends got the 3 cheese pizza which was decent. All in all, good pizza and pasta at bar dough! Still unimpressed by the dessert here, Budino was alright and so was the tiramisu.

After that bread was brought over so we could dip into the already placed olive oil and vinegar that was on the table prior to sitting. We started with the calamari with was tasty but noticed the breading kept falling off the rings. I kept having to scoop the fallen breading out of the dipping sauce. For entrees, I got the mussels and linguine and my husband got the chicken piccata. Every mussel in my dish had meat in it which was nice but I felt like the overall dish was missing something as it was quite acidic tasting.. maybe some cream? The chicken piccata was pretty good, with mushrooms, artichokes, carrots, broccolini, and capers. My husband doesn't really like mushrooms or artichokes so I had a few bites of those and they were tasty. He said the dish reminded him of "old world piccata" and not the modern dish he was expecting of just chicken, capers, and pasta. But he said he did enjoy it. Service was slow and we did hear the next table have some complaints and their bill was comped. We did wait a bit between each course and for the server to appear for the bill. Overall, Odyssey restaurant was ok. The vibe is very cool as it is a converted home.

We started with the burrata based on Yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. Super fresh tasting, and the focaccia paired with it perfectly. Overall, I was pretty pleased with this place. Had a table outside, which was kinda nice because…read morethe street was blocked off. The Arancini was good, but I would not say it was amazing. The carbonara was really good and the Bolognese with spectacular. The waiter was really great for the first half of the meal and then he was awkwardly absent for the second half which was a little annoying. Two side notes. Number one the pizzas looked really good, but we didn't try it. Number two, they do add this weird gratuity charge to your bill so pay attention and don't overtip. It's some sort of Denver city tax.

I grew up in a big Italian family and have eaten a lot of Italian food over the years. This is exactly the kind of Italian comfort food I was hoping for. Super flavorful and delicious dishes that won't disappoint. We tried the Gnnochi Salsicia, Lobster Ravioli, Tasty Treats and lasagna (always kind of hesitant to try a lasagna or spaghetti) and all of them were amazing. The Lobster Ravioli and Gnnochi were probably the table favorites and were genuinely two of the best dishes I've had at an Italian food spot in a long time. Absolutely plan to make this a regular stop moving forward!

The aglio was bland and flavorless with cheap, frozen clams that tasted so fishy (and maybe old?). How are you going to charge $25 for overcooked pasta and frozen fishy clams? Ridiculous and a scam. Pizza dough was not even pizza-esque and felt so thin, it was crumbly. Service: 3.5/5
