Another spot we hit for the first time and another nice gem. Walk in the doors and there's something just inviting about it, it's funny, kind of hard to pinpoint but you just want to go sit at the bar. Mind you, plenty of spots if the bar isn't your thing. Kind of your classic bar decor, plenty of TVs making it a cool spot to watch a game. We did choose the bar, was moderately busy, but our bartender was quick to greet us, get us menus and drink list, so was instantly impressed. I went with a standard Moscow Mule which was made quickly and accurately, refreshing! Wife had the sangria and enjoyed it immensely. Your drinks do not remain empty long, our bartender, wish I got her name, she was fantastic. Frankly, you could tell all the servers were personable and on their game. The food, very good! Landed on the chicken parm sub, delicious! House marina, mozzarella and perfectly cooked chicken, I mean it is really good, with hand cut fries that are surprisingly delicious, Wife had the steak n cheese and really enjoyed it. Quite a few good places in this area, glad we found it! Highly recommend! Below based on 5 stars Location *** 1/2 (parking can be a small challenge) Ambiance **** Service ***** Food **** Cleanliness *** 1/2 Restroom *** 1/2 (could be cleaner but nit picking here) Overall ****

Went with my friend on a Saturday night. It was freezing out so some drinks and comfort food were an order. Since it was before 9 pm they had a selection of $5.00 martinis and we both chose the Lemon Drop. The bartender made it perfectly. We decided to split the short beef grilled cheese and an order of pink vodka penne with grilled chicken. Both were excellent. I'll definitely return again to try more in their menu.

The lights were constantly flickering. The music was so loud we had to yell just to hear the person sitting across from us. The plates were hotter than the food. There was no carne asada available. Located on a strip off Killingly with a decent amount of parking in the lot. Good looking spot with plenty of seating and a nice large bar. The only thing was that the entrance faced the bar directly where we sat so everytime the door swung open we got a huge gust of wind and a wave of cigarette smoke from the chain gang outside. So I'd suggest sitting further away from the entrance to avoid this. I'm not always the biggest fan of Mexican but wanted to give it a shot and I really enjoyed my experience here! I didn't get her name, but our bartender was phenomenal! She was a little spitfire - great personality and very attentive. You're started off with complementary chips and salsa - chips were a tad salty but were hearty bites, salsa was just ok. We ordered fish tacos and the pollo al gusto. The chicken was a bit on the oily side but was seasoned well and each bacon laced bite paired nicely with a crema sauce (I requested on the side). Fish tacos were very tasty and the chipotle mayo was yummm. Both came with rice, beans, lettuce and pico. We ended our meal with the fried cheesecake, good but not great - it wasn't what we were expecting. We both thought it would some sort of breaded cheesecake fried but it looked like it was in a wrapper of some kind and deep fried. I prob wouldn't get again but glad we tried it. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit, the staff was outstanding - the manager checked in on us a few times and really made us feel welcomed. We will def be back!

Lots of retro decor (think Slimer from Ghostbusters, Hulk Hogan pillow buddies, etc). The walls are lined with arcade games... bring your quarters! Whole variety of seating, from tables and chairs to circular booths, and the like. The perfect space to settle in for a bit, especially on a rainy weekend evening. We were greeted immediately and provided with a number of menus... and what a menu! Lots of comfort food options ranging from apps to entrees, and a number of sandwiches and burgers. I was vacillating between the hot dogs and a couple of the chicken sandwich's and ultimately selected the Cool Ranch Ray with grilled chicken, cheddar, bacon, and Ranch dressing. It was delicious! Unfortunately, the fries left something to be desired as they were fairly dried out and a bit tough to get down. Perhaps a bit less time in the fryer could have fixed that. Dessert was a nice cap to the meal with Nutella empanadas. Yum! PB & Jealous drink... divine. Our waiter Chris was moving and grooving... never seeming to stop for a second and always finding time to check in with us. Pretty certain he was behind the bar AND waiting tables and kept up with it all. Bravo! Fun evening, great food. Will definitely be back.

It's a place tucked into a strip off Atwood ave with an open floor plan. Theres a bar along one end of the room with stools and a fair amount of low top tables for hanging out. I of course dove right into the menu - it consists mostly of "bar foods" so if you're looking for fancy, go elsewhere. If you're looking for good solid bar food options, you've found your place. Everything from fries to burgers to chicken sandwiches to wings. With a lot in between. I got the pretzel bites and 12 honey BBQ wings. The pretzels were YUM! Perfectly salted, warm and served with a stone ground honey pub mustard. The wings are not breaded, with I like. (The tenders are breaded fyi). They bake them, fry them then sauce them so they're super tender. Frankly I want to try all the sauces!!! I got the "everyone likes" version this time so I could share. Next time I'll go for heat and do buffalo. They have 4 tiers, mild, medium, hot and el diablo. Oh baby. I don't think I'm that adventurous.... Yet. The waitress was super nice and accommodating. It was trivia night and very busy, she handled the WHOLE place with drinks and food. Hats off to her for sure. She handled it with a smile, grace and wonderful attitude. A few others got nachos, beef chili and a friend chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Each said they were very good. All in all this place has my business for take out wings going forward and the Wednesday trivia. Thanks Coop, nicely done. CHEERS!

The building is smallish and located on a corner. A small parking lot is located on busy Hartford Ave, with a building entrance on that side that leads into the first of two bar areas. A larger parking area is located around the corner on Bishop Hill Road. Another two entrances, into the 2nd bar area are accessible from this lot. Also, a huge outdoor seating area, under a tent runs along one side of this parking area. So they have lots of room to enjoy a summer evening outside. We arrived late afternoon between meal times. The bar was full except for two seats. Other than the bar, the tables and booths in this area were empty (the other bar was not staffed at this hour). We like sitting at the bar and talking with the regulars. We learn so much about the area this way. Even in our own state! The majority of our bar-mates and the bartender were very friendly and we had some lively conversations. The building itself is old and much of the original dark wood remains along with a big fireplace. The ladies room is right at the end of the bar, is small and older and everything works. Full bar, beer on tap or in cans and wine. They have a nice bar-food menu. I chose sweet potato fries as my side while my dining companion chose regular fries. Both were good, as were our sandwiches (au jus and Big bird) Good quality and tasty. The booths began to fill as we were leaving and the barkeep was also their waitress, so she has a big area to cover. The regulars are very well known to each other and the staff so if you sit at the bar you may feel like the 'odd man out'. We enjoyed our visit and plan to return to try some of their other food offerings.
