The special split in half they loved
Jennifer P.

Went to a fun Music Bingo night with the girls! They had a few specials and 4 girls got the special they split 2 orders and I'm not sure if the name but they said it was amazing! Two had the Mac daddy burger n fries & was fantastic big portion too! Drink specials were great , bartender / servers were so friendly and great service! They even spilt the 7 people bill at the end which we had no asked for earlier ! Music bingo was a blast too!

This is a really cute little establishment located on Putnam Pike in Johnston. Their menu is limited but very good. We had the calamari and loaded nachos with chicken. On weekends Escada provides live entertainment and many times there's no cover charge. Bartenders are always friendly! Nice tv screens to watch the games currently playing. The drinks are great and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy coming here on occasion after work to catch up with friends.

Escada Bar is one of those unassuming places that if you have never heard of them, you could drive by and not realize what is there. Having been there a few times now over the years, one thing that I can say is the food is always consistently good. I don't think it'll qualify as the best I ever had, but its far from the worst with nice sized portions and very reasonably priced. I had the chicken parm sandwich and it was definitely loaded with chicken and delicious. I would have liked a little more cheese and maybe a bit more sauce, but that's personal preference. What matters more is that it tasted good. The staff is always friendly and checks on you often enough so that you're taken care of but not so much that you can't have a conversation. As an added bonus, they do have entertainment in the evenings and while I'm biased, my friends The Complaints play there on Wed night and sometimes on a weekend and should definitely be checked out. The band gets 5 stars haha. Don't let the strip mall exterior deter you from going there and getting a good affordable meal, reasonably priced drinks and awesome entertainment.

If you're looking to have an evening of dinner and dancing, this is for you. Food is good and they get some great bands. Only criticisms are that the bands start time is 9:30pm (a little later than most) and the dance floor is small. But it's always a good time! Update: Here again and amazed by the food and service. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with onion rings - OMG! Possibly the best tings ever! And the sandwich was to die for. My date ordered the chicken parmigiana sandwich and was also pleased. Music by the Smoking Toads madethe night petfect!

Loved this nice little place! We went on Saturday night and it was busy but not crowded and they held a table for us. Our server was so pleasant and let us bring a small birthday cake and she put it in the refrigerator for us. The food was very good- I had fish and chips- not greasy , and a nice fresh salad. We had chicken wrap with fries, salmon dinner and scrod and everything was very delicious. Chicken wings for an appetizer that were very good also. The topping was the awesome music!! Brian Cabral played guitar and sang and he was awesome - did great music selections. It was a great night all around and I'll take more friends back there for good food and hopefully more good music!!

Escada's has the best philly cheese steaks! I just found out that on Thursdays their special is philly cheese steaks so they're a little cheaper than other days. Not only are their philly cheese Steaks good, but also their sangria. I usually order 2-3 glasses before I say "ok, that's enough". Service is great and the restaurant is well kept. I will definitely be back soon to order another one of my favorite sandwiches.

Gotta give it up to Escada, they have a good thing going. I picked up some Chicken Marsala to-go and it was enough for 2 portions..easily. We went back a few nights later for some drinks and had a great time. Good mix of locals, drinks were perfect, friendly bartenders, and the band was excellent! Reminds me a little bit like the old Stuffies in NP..with better layout and better food.

I was lucky to have tried North when it was open so when I saw the former chefs were preparing the meal for Chef Night, I knew I had to sign up and was so glad I did. The meal was stupendous! The first course was shrimp and corn fritters. The fritters were filled with shrimp and corn and you can visually see the shrimp and corn. It wasn't overly doughy and the sauce was delicious! Chef Andrew described the dish and he told us that the shrimp was locally sourced from Dune Brothers. The second course was noodles with tomato and pepper dashi and grilled fish. The noodles were fresh, but it started to get a little clumpy. The dashi was really flavorful. The third course was miso tres leches cake with sakura whipped cream. This course I was the most excited about and it totally blew my expectations. Chef Andrew told us that they hand picked sakura petals and made their own whipped cream. The tres leches cake was moist, dense, and airy. The dessert was definitely the star of the show. Bravo to chefs Andrew McQuesten and Stephen Sternkopf for a wonderful locally sourced meal. Jean-Marc and the other bartender were also very friendly and accommodating. They checked on all the customers throughout the night and made yummy drinks. I had the Toasted Venture. This is one of the signature cocktails and has Toasted Pumpkin Seed-Infused Misguided Spirits Red Sky Silver Rum/Cynar/St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur/Rosemary Elixir/Mole Bitters. It was very good. A time at Clementine's is always wonderful.

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!
