Cool bar. Seating is limited but I have never had to wait too long for a seat. The cocktails are amazing. I talked to the bartender about a few drinks on the menu I was torn between and he made something not in the menu that was a blend of everything I liked! Truly impressive and delicious.
On a mission to find my favorite spritz in PVD. We went to Clementine for girls night and had to get my usual - Aperol Spritz. Service was great - the bartenders kept us entertained and engaged with us throughout the entire evening. I can't wait to go back!
Our drinks were absolutely fantastic. Great complex flavor profiles. Not anything I've had before really. The waiter gave great recommendations. Will be back!

Last two times we have been in Providence we stopped in. Both times very satisfied. This used to be the space for "Birch" which sadly closed during Covid but we are glad this place took over and became somewhere we want to stop in. Cocktails are great and service is the same. We were here a few weeks back and it was busy. Alot of people showed up close together which is never fun if your a solo bartender, however the bartender was polite and held it down very well. I wish I took better photos, but will make sure to do so when I am back.

An awesome cocktail bar! I usually make a reservation to guarantee a spot for any weekend night, but I was able to sit outside with a larger group of friends last minute. The servers were also very kind and turned the heaters on outside for us. Even when seated outside, the servers checked in with us frequently. My personal favorite drink is the Aviation, but honestly all of the drinks are delicious. The craftsmanship of the drinks is also amazing. The bartenders are so talented and can make any drink you request (highly suggest the off menu French 75)! We also ordered some dumplings and fries as snacks for the table. The highlight was the slightly spicy aioli that came on the side of the fries - it was delicious!

The drinks were soo delicious and crafted well. I got an espresso martini that wasn't on the menu but soo yummy. Defiantly coming back!
10/10 would recommend. A super cute place with exceptional service. The drinks were fun and tasty. We didn't get any food but they have apps/small bites. The fries looked great and I'm excited to try them next time. Great for drinks with friends of a date. I wouldn't recommend for large groups as it's pretty small/intimate.

Clementine is tasteful, contemporary place to enjoy a cocktail & appreciate the bustle of downtown Providence. Staff is quick, kind, & meticulous, albeit a bit intense. They take their job very seriously & the finished product proves that their expertise is well directed. The cocktails are works of art. Smoked this, muddled that, infused this, float that. All drinks are worth taking a photo of. They also do right by the classics, from the CR#2 to the Aviation. I truly appreciate any cocktail bar that pays homage to some of the lesser known but still highly revered classics. The square configuration of the bar allows for little creativity in the ways of seating arrangements. Either you sit at the bar, or you don't sit at all. The lofty ceilings amplify the din, so when the bar is full, it can get unpleasantly loud inside. Finally, I must mention: They have castelvetrano olives on their menu. Yes. Correct. Major points from me for that.
The perfect bar for beautiful crafted drinks. The attention to detail is incredible! Our bartender Karael crafted our cocktails to perfection. For appetizers, I would recommend trying the chicken dumplings, it comes with a soy dipping sauce and this alone will have me coming back for more.
This was an excellent cocktail bar experience! The bartenders were great and I really enjoyed my drink - which was pretty unique. I loved the menu options and the decor. It's a small spot but really bright and fun but still classy. Highly recommend and would come again.

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 6:00PM, I attended Clementine's September Chef Night. Clementine partnered with Little Friend, a pop-up by chefs Andrew McQuesten and Stephen Sternkopf, both former chefs of Downtown's now-closed north. I was lucky to have tried North when it was open so when I saw the former chefs were preparing the meal for Chef Night, I knew I had to sign up and was so glad I did. The meal was stupendous! The first course was shrimp and corn fritters. The fritters were filled with shrimp and corn and you can visually see the shrimp and corn. It wasn't overly doughy and the sauce was delicious! Chef Andrew described the dish and he told us that the shrimp was locally sourced from Dune Brothers. The second course was noodles with tomato and pepper dashi and grilled fish. The noodles were fresh, but it started to get a little clumpy. The dashi was really flavorful. The third course was miso tres leches cake with sakura whipped cream. This course I was the most excited about and it totally blew my expectations. Chef Andrew told us that they hand picked sakura petals and made their own whipped cream. The tres leches cake was moist, dense, and airy. The dessert was definitely the star of the show. Bravo to chefs Andrew McQuesten and Stephen Sternkopf for a wonderful locally sourced meal. Jean-Marc and the other bartender were also very friendly and accommodating. They checked on all the customers throughout the night and made yummy drinks. I had the Toasted Venture. This is one of the signature cocktails and has Toasted Pumpkin Seed-Infused Misguided Spirits Red Sky Silver Rum/Cynar/St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur/Rosemary Elixir/Mole Bitters. It was very good. A time at Clementine's is always wonderful. read more

Small but mighty cocktail bar. Gus was amazing; very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I opted for El Perro Malo a reposado based drink with Chamoy, tajin covered dried mango and Cilantro garnish from their new spring menu. This drink was perfectly crafted. I also tried a mezcal based drink. Coming from a Mezcal HATER, this drink was really good and well balanced. read more
Found this little gem on an impromptu cocktail tour of Providence. Sad to have found it so late in my visit, I'd have been back daily. Amazing craft cocktails. Sergio was attentive, patient and demonstrative of his skills. Every drink we had was phenomenal. I will warn it's a little on the cozy side so don't go rolling in with 15 people, but for groups of four or less, you will not be disappointed. read more

Used Opentable to book a reservation for two at the bar, and was surprised to realize how vital it was that we did that - the space is intimate, seating just 12 people comfortably for the entire place. Tiny, but mighty. The space is designed beautifully with edgy artwork, a U-shaped bar, and bold paint. The inner console had **just** enough space for the two bartenders to pass back and forth around each other, and they maneuvered so with ease and sophistication. Like a dance, they moved back and forth around, mixing craft cocktails with precision and skill. We ordered from the premium collection, and were not disappointed. A craft cocktails should ignite the senses with smell, taste, and looks; and Clementine's menu offered exactly that. 10/10 recommend! read more
Is this the best cocktail bar in the US? Quite possibly. This is an intimate, beautifully designed, space in Downtown Providence that is ideal for date night or a 1:1 friend catch up. The cocktails are absolutely outstanding- made with the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Even though I wouldn't consider myself a "cocktail-person," I blown away by the craft. I appreciate that you can pick cocktails based on ingredients or their taste profile. The official menu changes seasonally- but you can always order your fav classic cocktail off-menu. If you are don't love cocktails, there are beer, wine, mocktail options. We love coming when Christian is running the bar, but they frequently host "guest bartender" nights so you can try award winning drinks. Lastly, this is definitely a cocktail bar but there "nibbles" are great. Best cheese, olives, fries and crab Rangoons! Crossing fingers that they re-open the kitchen because we'll have an excuse to stay longer! read more

What a cute little spot! A few friends and I came right as they opened. The space itself is small but very beautiful! It's also very nice that it's small because you can see the drinks being made. The staff is very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. The drinks were perfect! Ugh, I can't wait to come back. read more
Great cocktails where Birch used to be. The set up is still very much like Birch: central bar, limited seating in a horseshoe shape. It's intimate and warm, a NYC meets PVD vibe. Our bartender, Christian, was incredibly knowledgeable and talented. My husband doesn't drink, so I was happy to see some creative non alcoholic options as well. The Morning Dew was my favorite (I tried all three!). They can also add alcohol to any of the non alcoholic options, which my friend did by adding vodka to the Sunset Limited. I tried the Fumo Bianco and really enjoyed it. I like the smokey taste of mezcal but I'm not a tequila person, and this struck a very nice balance. Plus, dehydrated red pepper as a garnish?! Very creative. I also tried the Sea Gibson, essentially a dirty martini that tastes of sea asparagus instead of olives. This is a perfect place to start or end the night! read more

The first time we were trying out this cocktail bar in Providence. We had reservations next door at Gracie's and stopped in here for a drink before but realized we didn't have much time so we came back after dinner. Super cute, sophisticated, and sexy little bar but the drinks were a bit disappointing. Maybe it was the drinks we ordered 1. Fast Forward 2. Oaxaca Old Fashioned. From experience, the drinks were not very balanced, could not taste the alcohol at all, and did not have much flavor. The staff, although friendly, were not very helpful either and did not have much personality. You would think at this super quaint and cool cocktail bar that they would be having fun. Maybe it was not our night to see the potential it has. I would like to give it a try another time for sure. read more

After Dua Lipa was done singing at Pride in the lot next to where the Doll used to be I walked over to Clementine where the New Yorker used to be. "Que pasa, amigo!" I said to the bartender who was super friendly and was making cocktails in rapid fire. "What'll be pal?" "One of those Casaamigos with the flag." "Coming right up!" And in no time flat I had a superb cocktail and boy was it delish. I downed it in one gulp, maybe two. And just as I was finishing the Boss came in and spotted me pronto. "Foo, my man, thanks for coming in tonight!" "Wouldn't have missed it, and the drink is awesome!" "I aim to please my brother, my main man Foo! Love you dude!" "Thanks man, means much," I said as I gave him daps! read more

Cute cocktail bar in Providence. The drinks are great and the vibe is fun. The space is fairly intimate, seating maybe 10-12 people. The service was great. Super quick and helpful when ordering. Given it is an intimate bar, I would prefer the music inside to be slightly lower so you can hear each other speak but aside from that, a great cocktail bar! read more
Clementine is one of my favorite cocktail bars in RI. Every drink is refreshing, unique and overall amazing! The bartenders are friendly and good at creating an elegant and delicious cocktail. They have some food options including French fries and cheese boards but my favorite is their house-made crab Rangoons. The bar is small but I'm guessing people will just stop in for a drink or two. read more
An intimate, new cocktail bar where Birch used to be. It has the same setup inside as it was before. There are limited seats around the bar (10-15 seats). Tried the mezcal-based Fumo Bianco and the gin-based Sea Gibson. Loved both of them though I liked the former better. The dehydrated red pepper on the Fumo Bianco is an added delight to the otherwise well-made drink. The Sea Gibson is similar to a dirty martini though I didn't quite cherish the salty taste of the drink. The bartender is very knowledgeable & has many tricks up his sleeve. They also have olives, cheese boards & French fries, and nonalcoholic options. Overall, an excellent spot for a date night or an after-dinner spot for a quick nightcap. read more

A must-stop. Only open a few months, this cocktail bar is absolutely chic, fun, and must for absolutely incredible cocktails with an intimate atmosphere! It's really cool that the plan for the quaint space is to feature a seasonal cocktail menu of a dozen drinks drinks at a time, with guest bartenders and popup chefs! On the menu right now are some stunning drinks, including these that totally wowed me (of the 5 different ones we tried): Most instagrammable -- 21 Light Houses: Italicus Rosolio Di Bergamotto, Ramazzotti Rosato, Campari, Cava, lemon Most interesting -- Fashion Forward: Toasted buckwheat in a blend of rye/bourbon, Stout Demerara, house blend of bitters Most comforting -- Hot Battered Rum: Barcardi 8 Year Old, black tea, house spices, butter They also have tapas snacks!! Background: The cocktail bar was created by Congressman and former Mayor of Providence David N. Cicilline. It's even named after his great-grandmother -- so sweet. read more
This was a really intimate bar. What I really liked was the bartender gave me a sample of my drink before he made it to ensure it's what my drink palette would like. The drinks are interesting and worth their price. It's a nice vibe and good music to relax and converse with someone. read more
