gin martini with a view of the bar and karaoke

Delicious martinis and great vibes. Cute little spot that even has Keno! Really good food and even better staff... I love the decor and old school feels- will definitely be back! I liked the burger and cheesesteak (mushroom based), but their specialty chips stole the show- addicting seasoning!

This bar is so fun and creative -- I've been in twice now and have had so much fun both times. A friend and I stopped in for a quick drink and appetizer and were greeted by the loveliest (and truly most delicious) welcome shot I've ever had. We both ordered the same drink, the Chamo-Pants, mine without alcohol and hers with, and enjoyed the uniqueness of everything on the menu! We also got chewy fries to share and they were unlike anything I've ever had -- but very good! We will be back, for sure!

I'd heard a lot about this new cocktail spot and all I can say is - BELIEVE THE HYPE! The ambiance is very retro, in a good way. It feels like an homage to dive bars of the 80s and 90s. There's wood paneling, vintage signs and pictures and cozy nooks, all in a dark room, dimly lit with a neon glow. The cocktails are some of the most inventive and delicious I've had. There's no overly sweet, basic crap here! My friend had the Clarisa which was made with clarified goat milk. It has an intriguing deep, sort of savory flavor. My drink, the High Horse was refreshing, tangy and complex. All the flavors were perfectly balanced. We shared a Mai Tai Baba for dessert and I could have happily eaten two of them. A soft cream-filled bun was infused with the rich tropical flavors of rum, coconut and citrus. Truly delightful! Our server was friendly, attentive and super helpful with explaining the menu and recommendations. I definitely want to go back and try more drinks and food.

Excellent service, creative tasty cocktails! Limited but VERY flavorful menu items. I really enjoyed the chicken tenders and tuna tartare. Ambiance was exceptional.

A cool, retro-style bar serving creative cocktails made with unique ingredients and offering an intriguing food menu. I stopped in after dinner to grab some drinks during their Tuesday half-off special and tried the Mango Sticky Punch, the Sapphire, and the Hemenway Daiquiri. The Mango Punch was a clarified cocktail with interesting flavors. The Sapphire had a bit too much ice, but it was still very good. The daiquiri was just as amazing. Overall, a great experience with excellent service. I'd definitely come back to try chef Nikhil's food.

A MUST TRY in PVD! Drinks and aesthetics are incredible! The service is also really wonderful too, everyone makes you feel so welcome. All smiles and laughter all around. Whether I've come alone or with friends I'm always greeted with such warmth. Can't wait to try the food!

Club Frills felt like a cool retro bar with some interesting drinks! I got a drink that had pandan and ube, flavors that I haven't seen in cocktails in Providence. I had to try it, and I was surprisingly pleased by the flavor! Most pandan cocktails tend to just taste more like coconut, but I felt like I could actually taste the pandan here. My friend also got a yuzu drink which was refreshing. We wanted something sweet, so we got the yawgoo mountain dessert (the only dessert item they have). It was shaved ice (somewhat similar to bingsoo) with strawberries in many different ways! There were real strawberries, strawberry jelly, and what tasted like strawberry candy/gummies). It was pretty good and all the strawberry items were a nice surprise. I would go again to try some of their other drinks!

The drinks were awesome! We were planning on going for dinner but recognized that they had a limited food menu. The food was great but the drinks are the star of the show! I had the Ube drink and it was amazing. Inside is pretty cool. They had a claw machine and a skull disco ball. The service was super fast. The gentleman who sat us down also took our drink order.

A little window into what is going to be the hottest spot in Providence this summer. Neighborhood bar crossed with an edgy cocktail haunt, cozy booths and frothy drinks, cool sounds pulse all around. It's the place to be on a hot summer night, certainly was this evening. A+ the vibe is killer PS. Bottles and bottles of grower champagne behind the bar means I'll be coming back to give that list some serious attention, we all have our own motivations.

Stopped by to check out this new spot with a friend on a Friday evening and while the vibe was great, the drinks were mostly ice and mediocre at best. I got the pere ube while my friend got the melona which were not only priced slightly higher than other bars in the area but also tasted two-dimensional and similar (sweet, heavy on the anise, somewhat creamy). It lacked the depth and dimension I seek in a drink, which was disappointing as I wanted to love it more based on the description's flavor profiles. What was lacking in the drinks was made up for with the thoughtfulness of the design and setup-- we loved what they did with the space with a main space with disco lights near the bar to a smaller sitting/dining room off to the side and allowing for more intimate conversation. Would consider coming back for the vibe should an opportunity present itself!

We ordered drinks before the meal. I had a Vermont Red Ale for the first time which was very good and worth remembering. At this time they were serving'cocktails for a cause' in support of the Alzheimer's Association, which my other half decided to have. The drink, Fuchsia Butterflies ($15), was made solarium gin, house-made lemoncello, with a Gran Classico & Violet Rinse. It was quite excellent. I had a sip to try (I am usually not one for cocktails) and enjoyed the taste. Perhaps I will try cocktails in the future. For food we shared curry moules frites, well done, just how I like them, and salt and vinegar Wings - tasty but too salty which detracted from the dish. We ended with a good chocolate mint creme brûlée. The check came to $80 to which we added a decent tip for our friendly server, Triston. We have always enjoyed the vibe and cozy environment of this place and are sure to return.

Not the kind of place I really want to sit in and enjoy a cocktail. Dungeon like. The music is loud hip hop, not something I mind, but worth noting if thats not for you. I sat at the bar, and honestly didn't feel like it was super clean. I don't think the counter had been wiped down for a while. Staff were doing their best but seemed overwhelmed on a Saturday night. I was watching them make the cocktails and did not feel like it was very sanitary. They've got one small sink they're rinsing everything in, they were chucking stuff, literally chucking and slamming metal. They were dumping out people's drinks into the same side of the sink and then rinsing in the other side. But stuff was splashing into what should be the clean side. It's not a good setup for a cocktail bar. The cocktail menu had 8 drinks on it, 2 they were out of. Nothing had whiskey in it. I got a drink called Darjeeling something. Really didn't like it, didn't taste balanced and it looked different than someone else's who ordered the same thing, not sure if the bartender forgot an ingredient. The bartender also wasn't tasting the drinks which I usually see to ensure it was made correctly. This one had curry in it as a listed ingredient and it was just way too strong a flavor. It was a rum drink with some mezcal but it just tastes like mezcal and curry powder. The place was pretty busy but people were coming and going frequently. There's only one bathroom which really isn't enough for a bar. Seems like there's potential here but I didn't like the menu offerings and the sanitary concerns leave me with no desire to come back here.

Every bite had great balance and you can tell they really care about the ingredients. One thing that really stood out to me was the seating. The Frida booths in the corner are the most comfortable restaurant seats I've ever sat in in my life. I could have stayed there all night. The atmosphere overall is fantastic. The lighting is mellow, the music is at the perfect level where you can actually talk without shouting, and the bartender was well-stocked and clearly knows what they're doing. Another bonus is the view. Looking out across the street at the park lit up at night is gorgeous and really adds to the vibe of the place. The only downside is parking, which can be a little tricky depending on when you go. But honestly, once you're inside and the food hits the table, it's totally worth it. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to

We ordered one taco each (different flavors) and neither of us could even finish it, it was that bad. Additionally, I have a severe gluten allergy and they were making an accommodation to what I ordered (grilled fish instead of fried), but initially when they brought me my taco, it had been made with fried fish and I had to tell them so that they could re-make it. I'm glad that I noticed, but because of that, I would not consider them food allergy-friendly and wouldn't risk eating there again. That being said, the waitress admitted that they were understaffed, so it's possible that we may have had a better experience on a different night.
