Autumn gimlet - A pale yellow cocktail is presented in a coupe glass, garnished with a lime wedge on the rim. The drink is placed on a dark woven coaster on a wooden bar counter. In the background, bar supplies, bottles, and containers are visible, indicating a bar setting with dim lighting.

Came here on a Friday night after dinner. Michael took great care of us, converting us to egg white cocktail folks. If you can grab a spot at the bar, take it! The cocktail list is a good guide if you don't have a cocktail in mind, but they do have a full bar. We got the gimlet and a few drinks on the menu but also got a few off menu/bartenders whim. Definitely will be back, this is a fun after dinner/date night spot!

Alpine Shore - amazing - A drink in a metallic cup with a lime wedge garnish and a black straw is shown on a dark coaster, resting on a wooden table. The beverage appears to contain ice and bubbles, suggesting a carbonated or mixed drink. The setting includes other tableware and a person's hand holding a phone in the background, indicating a social dining or drinking environment.

We went in for a drink and deviled eggs on New Year's Eve. The Eddy nailed it again. There was a steady crowd coming and in and out and the service was excellent. Drinks came out quick after the famous crack of the shaker and music of the clattering ice cubes. The Alpine Shore ($15) was amazing. I don't know what half of the ingredients were, but it really doesn't matter at the Eddy. They always make a balanced cocktail that mimics a scene in New York City. The bucchus' harvest caught my attention with the cognac ($15), amaro , sherry, fig, blueberry and lime. It was also a great cocktail. The deviled eggs were made with curry and apricot jam. I didn't think I was going to like it, but surprise, surprise...they did it again.

I guess I have become a regular - that's when the staff knows where you would like to sit, that you would like a glass of water with your order, 95% of the time you order the same drink & you don't normally get food because The Eddy is a pit stop on the way to or from somewhere else. Yup! 100% nailed it. In nice weather, we like to sit outside. In bad weather, we like to sit at the table next to the window. Hubby gets a Gansett tall boy, I get the House Punch. We did order the chicken liver mousse on a previous visit & it was delicious. I love that the House Punch changes daily. Last night, it was a delicious dark rum, tea, citrus concoction. I may or may not have had another while waiting for hubby to arrive. Just sayin'. Cheers!

Great bar with phenomenal drinks and food. My friend and I spontaneously decided to check out the Eddy. We ordered the Sea of Nectar and Life of Sin. I like sweeter drinks and the Sea of Nectar was perfect. It wasn't too strong and had a nice fizz. My friend ordered the Life of Sin, which is great if you like aperol spritz. We also ordered the Whipped Feta Dip and Charcuterie Board with Taleggio & Soppressata. We asked the waiter a couple questions about the cheese and meat options. She was really helpful. Loved our drinks and food. Overall, everything came really quick. Nice, darker ambiance inside too. It's a cozy space with a calm yet chatty vibe. Glad I checked it out!

Went in for a quick drink. Absolutely loved the vibe, and the drink was amazing. Delicious! I'll definitely come back to try something on the menu. Service very friendly.

The drinks here were fantastic!!! I loved the fall themed beverages they had. The one I tried was called " Bacchus' harvest" and was served with a pretzel! The drink had a delicious blend of cognac, sherry, fig, blueberry and lime! It was so tasty and I wish it wasn't seasonal since I would definitely order it again! The server was also very kind and brought us extra pretzels to go with the drink. Lastly, the ambiance of the bar makes for a classy, high quality bar nestled in downtown Providence. It's a mere 2 minute walk from Oberlin's so you can get a tasty drink before your dinner and still be on time! Will definitely come back again soon

Seasonal cocktail - A yellow-colored cocktail served in a coupe glass with a lemon-lime slice garnish on the rim. The drink is on a dark wooden bar table with a black coaster underneath. The background shows a window with a view of a street scene, including storefronts and streetlights, indicating an indoor setting at a bar or restaurant.

Loved the fall themed drinks and the multiple NA options too. The service was pretty good overall. Maybe a little pushy on trying to get me to order food, but I get it. The ambiance was really cool - I sat by the window and enjoyed the space.

My third time coming and always outstanding. Small, intimate, the best bar to catch up with a friend or a date. Bartenders always give great recommendations. Creative, fresh ingredients, uncommon spirits and combinations. Every cocktail is truly a culinary experience.. Best bar in Providence.

Always a solid choice for cocktails in downtown. Street parking is plentiful depending on day-if not park in a lot. Bartenders are always A+. Drinks are always creative and you can always find something you like. I really do love this bar.

Drinks are always delicious and I'm obsessed with the interior. Dark, intimate, and simply but effectively designed. Always been a favorite of mine for an after dinner (or sometimes before) cocktail. Service is usually friendly, though I have had a few experiences where it could've been better. Never bad, but sometimes a hint of attitude is present with certain staff. Trust me though it's not stopping me from returning. I can't leave a review without mentioning the deviled eggs. A must order for the perfect little bite alongside hour libation of choice. Their other food is tasty too, so don't let the bar atmosphere fool you, they're killing the food too!

Four people are holding cocktails in various glassware, each garnished with an orange slice. The drinks include a variety of colors and styles, suggesting a selection of cocktails. The setting appears to be a dimly lit bar with a dark wooden table, and the individuals are wearing casual, long-sleeved clothing. The photo captures a social moment of shared drinks.

THE FOOD -We ordered the dip trio, each of them was delicious, my favorite was the lemon hummus. -the ratio of chips to dip was not good and when we asked for more chips it was a $5 charge we weren't told about. Since it took a bit to get the second round of chips we had to leave most of them and the dip to get to our show on time which was a bummer. THE DRINKS -delicious!!! Great, accurate descriptions -I tried the parsley one and it was so refreshing and perfectly herby. I've told everyone about it! -I also tried the apple anise which is accurately a mix of both apple and anise flavors! I forgot I don't like anise much so it wasn't my favorite but again still accurate and well made. THE SERVICE -very kind server! He was knowledgeable when I had some questions about the drink options -also accommodating for when it's possible to based on drink recipes THE ATMOSPHERE -though not a speakeasy that was the feel of it -dark and intimate -fun decor , small interior so MAKE A RESERVATION Overall, I will definitely be going back when I'm in PVD!!!! Loved our drinks and had such a nice time. Sorry forgot pics of the drinks but I think the menu changes pretty often anyway so that's fine

A lovely woman in the restroom overheard my friend and I unsure on where to venture, and she suggested this place! Moody and welcoming. Absolutely loved it. We went in ~10:45 on a Wednesday pm. Apparently they do live jazz weekly as well, but we'd come too late. A handful of bar patrons, a couple making out in the back of the dining room at their cute table, a lovely bartender, me& my bff. We really hit the jackpot for ambiance last night. Decor in there is so cute. I wish I took a picture of the table lamp on the bar. It was embellished with beads hanging on the rim of the shade. Our drinks were top notch. Mine was a citrus vanilla profile and hers was a savory martini. The sandwich, I had one bite of it was yummy. I don't like imitation lunch meats though. CATFISH was breaded and fried fabulously. Not oily. Crispy and crunchy. So happy to have discovered this place! The bartender told us they just celebrated 6 years of business!

They also had live music, and that was honestly the highlight of the night, it was amazing and added so much to the overall vibe. This is definitely the kind of place you come to for the drinks, the live music, and the atmosphere more than the food.
