Lovely place. Lovely drinks. Lovely service. Lovely music. Everything was... well... lovely and I loved it all.

This was a private party so we provided the food. The bar tender Natalie is very friendly and courteous to all the customers here. This place is available for private events as well as open to the public. They have came along way from when they first opened.

Went for a quick visit and was impressed and delighted by the funky and old fashioned decor! Very fun furniture to hang out on. It seemed they only had a very short cocktail list (5 drinks on it?), but the concoctions were unique and interesting. I liked my cocktail but I couldn't taste half of the ingredients, which of course were the ones I was most looking forward to. I'll have to come check it out again when I have more time to check out the little thrift shop inside, and just to hang around and soak in the artsy vibes.

I LOVE THE AESTHETIC IN HERE! Drink prices aren't listed, but they are about $12 ish a piece. The drinks are fun as well. I love the various seating options. All size inclusive, EVEN THE BOOTHS! The only thing I would say is parking is limited & mostly street parking. Also love that they have pop ups, vintage clothing to buy, and other fun events!

This is a spacious & relaxed venue for some Saturday afternoon jazz in a comfy chair with a cocktail. The crowd today is 50ish and digging the jazz of Evening Sky. The bartender was helpful in steering me to a house speciality. Good way to warm up on this chilly November afternoon.

No food but the drinks are really creative! The decoration is a mix of 70 and antic vibe, very Melo very nice to come for a date. I love the ambiance very romantic. The service was very pleasant, cute bartender she had very nice tattoos lol over all will recommend this spot! Very hip

Cute little bar with live music in East providence. They don't have food but a few groups of people brought pizza from Jeff's across the street. The cocktail list is unique and fun, but they have a full bar and beer selection. I got one of the drinks on the menu and one "off menu". The espresso martini is very good if you want to ask for an off menu drink! The live music was good but didn't really adhere to a schedule. Street parking was easy. Service was quick. Come for the cocktails, stay for the music

Great drinks, nice bar concept. Live music and DJs depending on the night. No food but customers can order food from Jeff's pizza across the street. Really enjoyed our first visit. Can't wait to return.

Enjoyed a great evening of jazz music in this eclectic lounge. No food is served, but you can bring your own or order delivery. The bar staff is great and create great tasty cocktails. Live bands or DJ nightly. We will be back!

I am in love! This bar is such a hidden gem. From the décor to the friendly bartenders. I saw a fantastic Hip Hop/Soul/New Age duo Kuf Knotz and Christine Elise. The crowd was so eclectic and all vibing. Will be back for sure to catch some more shows and enjoy the ambiance.

Live band on stage - A live music performance features a band with multiple musicians, including a female vocalist, in a venue with chandeliers and decorative curtains, creating a sophisticated atmosphere.

This might be my new go to & favorite bar. The original live music is always awesome & a nice change. The cocktail list is modern & fun & worth a try. Plus they have many good beers on draft & even more unique canned beers that's you don't see else where. The service always seems to be good no matter how busy it is.

They make use of all of their space, coordinating music, burlesque, theater, art shows, etc, to be highlighted in the spot that makes the most sense for the medium. Does that make sense? No corner goes unused, you know? Once is a fluke, twice is a coincidence, & thrice is a pattern, right? Well then, unfortunately, the pattern here is that the bar staff is astronomically rude ): Like, noticeably mean. I wouldn't consider coming here for food or bev if there wasn't a very specific reason/show going on that I wanted to attend. That aside, I still have wonderful things to say about AS220 as an entity. Just a heads up for showgoers.

Deep in the bowels of this commercial complex, a group of friends carve out a secret 750 sq. ft. home for themselves, away from the prying eyes of mall security and the daylight reminder of things they would rather not think about. But what comes of letting our hurt take up too much room inside of us? Does every empty space always need to be filled? Or sometimes, is it all right to let what is hollow stay hollow? Loosely inspired by a true story, One Providence Place is an original 90-minute musical dramedy about art, grief, family, and the most carpeted mall in America. The space- Black Box: The Black Box is a nice little space nestled all the way to the right of AS220. Enough to fit about 30-40 audience members. Every seat is a good seat and it has it's own bathrooms. The play: It was more drama than comedy. I was not expecting that. After re-reading the description, they advertised it as dealing with grief and it was more a play about exactly that. I wanted it to be more comical and closer to the actual story. It wasn't my cup of tea but Kudos where judos is deserved. Someone had a vision and they went after it! Everyone knew their lines, their was some excitement, there were songs, they used their space well. Overall a dedicated group of artists did their craft and kudos to them. I always appreciate bathroom art.

It turns out this 750-seat auditorium hosts all kinds of events--concerts, lectures, movie screenings, dance competitions, and more. The space is modern and understated, no frills, with a clean interior and very comfortable seating. There's a small entry foyer with concessions, including snacks, water, and even alcohol. The staff were friendly and helpful, though there was a bit of a hiccup with the ticket scanners at the start. Thankfully, they sorted it out quickly and were great about helping us find our section. For this event, seating was open across several tiers, which gave us a chance to explore and settle where we felt most comfortable. Staff were visible throughout the evening, helping guests find restrooms and keeping things running smoothly without being disruptive. There's free parking in a couple of adjacent lots, plus plenty of street parking. It was fairly chaotic pulling out of there after the show as it had a small footprint but there were staff outside working to assist the flow of traffic. The venue is also fully accessible, which is always great to see. I'd absolutely attend another event here!

Here are my thoughts: The Venue: I was pleasantly surprised by this venue--it's spacious, offers a good view of the stage from just about anywhere, and the legroom is far better than PPAC's (a definite win). I'm shocked I hadn't heard of this place sooner, considering I've lived in Rhode Island for 12 years. It's a great spot for smaller productions like the Candlelight Concert. The Candlelight Concert (staged by Fever): For a ticket under $50 per person in Section A, knowing I was coming to see a string quartet, I wasn't expecting Yo-Yo Ma. I kept an open mind, and for the most part, the musicians delivered. They were clearly gig players, but they were talented enough for this type of event. Winter from The Four Seasons especially moved me. That said, the concert felt short, and the repertoire didn't match what was publicized. There were several lesser-known pieces on the playlist, which felt out of place. Additionally, the show started 15 minutes late due to wintry weather conditions. I did enjoy the candlelight concept--the fake candles lining the stage and venue were surprisingly classy and added a warm, cozy vibe. One odd thing was the request for tips at the end of the performance. It caught me off guard and felt a bit unusual for this type of event. Would I return? Yes. I appreciated the accessibility and down-to-earth vibe of the performance, even if my companions didn't feel the same.

Not the kind of place I really want to sit in and enjoy a cocktail. Dungeon like. The music is loud hip hop, not something I mind, but worth noting if thats not for you. I sat at the bar, and honestly didn't feel like it was super clean. I don't think the counter had been wiped down for a while. Staff were doing their best but seemed overwhelmed on a Saturday night. I was watching them make the cocktails and did not feel like it was very sanitary. They've got one small sink they're rinsing everything in, they were chucking stuff, literally chucking and slamming metal. They were dumping out people's drinks into the same side of the sink and then rinsing in the other side. But stuff was splashing into what should be the clean side. It's not a good setup for a cocktail bar. The cocktail menu had 8 drinks on it, 2 they were out of. Nothing had whiskey in it. I got a drink called Darjeeling something. Really didn't like it, didn't taste balanced and it looked different than someone else's who ordered the same thing, not sure if the bartender forgot an ingredient. The bartender also wasn't tasting the drinks which I usually see to ensure it was made correctly. This one had curry in it as a listed ingredient and it was just way too strong a flavor. It was a rum drink with some mezcal but it just tastes like mezcal and curry powder. The place was pretty busy but people were coming and going frequently. There's only one bathroom which really isn't enough for a bar. Seems like there's potential here but I didn't like the menu offerings and the sanitary concerns leave me with no desire to come back here.
