Inner Halloween bar

Hot club's still got it. Open during the in the early afternoon when other places around the area don't open until 3pm/4pm. Stunning views, great prices. Loved the halloween decorations. Great area with all-comers welcome. Some nice microbreweries and mainstream on tap. Haven't been here in a while, so nice to see some small renovations and updates (e.g., bathroom) but still with the same character.

I went to The Hot Club for my lunch break. Parking can be tricky but lucky enough I found a parking right next to the place on the street, they do also a parking lot. Everyone was so nice. I was greeted, my order was placed quickly ( it wasn't busy for a Monday lunch break) the fish nuggets taste like fish and the onion rings were nice and crispy. The price is reasonable. Plenty of seating options both outside and inside not to mention the bar. The menu even though not large is well out. The views are beautiful the water, the boats, the hurricane barrier. It does get busy on the weekends. It's a laid back chill spot. I believe they play music on the weekends and of course tv's for sports fans. This was my second time here. I will definitely return again

What a great place to go on a hot summer day for a couple of cold drinks with some friends.

I've only been here once and it was on such a beautiful day. It was so nice to sit outside. Their parking was a little frustrating as they said there a lot was for employees only so we had to park on the street and walk but as long as you can get a spot, it shouldn't be a problem. They have a fair amount of tables outside that are all facing the water and their menu is pretty standard. The people working there were a little less friendly, but overall would totally recommend because everyone was nice enough. The view for just grabbing a quick drink with friends was super nice and everyone that was there was super friendly.

On a gorgeous evening in Providence, hubby & I decided to grab a drink at The Hot Club. The views are awesome! And always fun to people watch (& subtlety eavesdrop). Also amusing to watch the dudes on the boats ogle the girls at the restaurant. Ahhhh... to be in my 20s again! The grilled burger was very good. Nice char on the outside, hubby asked for LTO which were listed as extras but got them for free. Cold drinks at a decent price. Win-win all around!

Didn't get any food but the drinks were amazing here. Bartenders were so friendly too. The best experience had to have been the outdoor seating, music was playing but not so loud that you can't hear the person next to you. The waterfront view was so relaxing that we just to grab a few drinks!

This place was so much fun. The parking situation can be stressful since it's not too far from India point park and it's by the water, but once you find parking you're golden. So this place is more like bar, finger food. You order your food at the bar, and can either sit inside or outside by the water. The prices are amazing! I was shocked for the area how cheap it was AND the food was delicious. It's not a server come to your table type of place it's grab your own food once it's ready and pick a table and grub. I love this setting. It was relaxing, all types of people and the music was very good. We sat outside and by the water. It was an amazing scenery and great vibes. Phoenix who greeted us at the front was so kind. Glad we went and I'll be back!

The food and service is an A+. The staff is very friendly and eager to give customers an enjoyable experience and the food is delicious. The atmosphere can't be beat. It's on the water and from the bar up is all window so the view is amazing. The bar is a beautiful shade of wood that is so shiny. I was there on a rainy day so I didn't go out on the brick outdoor patio, but I was out there last year and the outdoor seating is gorgeous and also looks out on the water. If you're sitting you feel like you're in the water. My son even proposed to his fiancé here. This is my favorite place to go and it has been for years.

Fun place. Came by boat not too much parking. A little loud. Comfortable. Food is good. Staff friendly.

If you're looking for a nice view directly on the water, you've come to the right place! If you're hoping to compliment that view with some good food, you may need to walk on by. We were seated directly facing the Providence River promptly and politely by a masked host, and our masked waitress arrived quickly. So far, so good! Unfortunately the waitress told us their grill was out of commission, so our only choices were fried dishes. Nonetheless we prevailed and ordered: * Fish Nuggets * Clam Roll * Basket of Fries * Stuffed Quahog Actually we didn't order the quahog, but since it came, we tried it. Our comments on the food are: - Fish Nuggets: Very tasty, nice batter, moist fish! - Clam Roll: Terrible, as in did they buy these in the freezer section of a grocery store? They were tough and unappetizing. - Basket of Fries: Very tasty fries, hot and crispy. - Stuffed Quahog: Terrible, dry, almost inedible. I should note they have an abundance of outside seating, both on the water and in the parking lot. They also have seats inside. We mentioned to the waitress that we didn't order the quahog, but it remained on the bill. So I guess the bottom line here is that if you're looking for a nice spot to have a drink, this is a great place. If you're hoping to get some good food, you may be disappointed.

My pieces were tasty but a bit fatty (hard to chew). I had the eggplant ravioli which was very rich and tasty ($28) - but so heavily sauced it was hard to tell what was what. The less good parts: the cheap wood chairs are too uncomfortable to sit on very long (I moved to the banquette next to my partner). The food is overpriced. It really needed something with it - bread, potatoes, vegetables, anything. The pork came with a few bitter leaves of a salad. I have a small appetite in general - I usually take home half my food anywhere I go. I looked at the food and said "we are going to have to go to IHOP later" because it was a light snack. The only bread available cost $12. Maybe it's amazing but I just couldn't bring myself to pay $12 for bread on principle. The food took awhile to arrive. Long enough for the server to tell us she was leaving for the night and to get up and order two drinks directly from the bar myself. The servers were nice in a way that felt somewhat forced. We are finding someplace else for dessert. I really liked my espresso martini, and that was within the price range I would expect ($13).

I'm a vegan, which limits my menu sampling options. I ordered the roasted broccoli which was amazing 10/10. The crunchy topping on it should be available for sale - So so good. It was good - but wasn't as amazing as the broccoli. I do however recognize I removed the aspects of the dish that would have made it a 10/10. It was remarkably underwhelming. The fish had a strange texture & the dish was completely lacking in flavor. Very bland. The best part was the golden berries. For the price (22 whole dollars) it was a huge let down. **When I saw this combination on the menu, I had to know more. I'm so glad we ordered this! It was delicious, rich yet also light & summery. I would definitely order this again. ***This dish absolutely stole the show. What a wonderful combination of textures & flavors. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Delicious! The portion size surprised me as well. I will be back! I might stay away from the overpriced raw bar next time. We started out with my husband's newfound favorite, the clam cakes. I appreciated the herbiness of the breadcrumbs they were fried in. My husband got the crab roll for his entree, and I did like the bite I was able to sneak of it. I really wanted the lobster roll but that $42 price tag turned me away quickly. Instead I got the fish and chips with pollock for my entree. I am always complaining about portion sizes. Not here, I was only able to finish around 1/3 of it. It is substantial! Not only was it a generous portion, but it was really nicely fried, and I loved the flaky salt on it. My one complaint is the sauces that you pay extra for. I got some piri-piri mayo and garlic aioli. Both of these were absolutely not worth it, grossly lacking in flavor. Don't waste your money on these and stick with ketchup. The staff was friendly, helpful, and as attentive as they could be from inside the food truck. The locale is super cute with a bunch of picnic tables out on a patio. The parking is super limited though so beware. Would definitely recommend!

The lobster roll was not only full, but it was packed with huge chunks of meat, very tasty, it was also served with French fries. The clam chowder was also tasty, with good flavor and decent chunks of clam inside. Prices here were a bit high, but the quality of the food was very high, and very fresh. Portions are decent, as we were able to share one lobster roll and a cub of chowder, and it was adequate. They also had live music playing to add a little ambiance If you find yourself in downtown Providence, I'd recommend this as a staple to check out.

This a local spot, if you know, you know, and if you don't, now you do :) Let me just say that if there is one thing to really focus in on, it's consistency. In today's economy with everything so expensive you sometimes feel like you don't get the best value for money spent. So let me tell you, these guys and girls nail it every single time. First off it's a super cozy spot, perfectly lit with a high end tavern type feel. Service is always prompt and friendly. Ask anyone working and they're happy to help you out. You'll never hear let me get your server. Drinks ! Specialty drafts that are nearly impossible to find anywhere else. Drinks that are so well thought out and properly made. The wife hasn't been able to complain once ;) and that's saying something. The dishes speak for themselves just look at the pics. Who makes sausage cups for dipping ??! This place does. The wife had a watermelon salad here years ago and hasn't stopped talking about it. There is literally something here for everyone and every pallet preference. You have to try their brunch ! It's nice to see a place that really prides itself on what it serves. The wife and I were able to get a sitter and finally have a dinner night and Rogue never disappoints. Getting into the city can be a pain sometimes but it's so worth it coming here. They buy their products from local sources and they're a local business.
