I visited the Walnut Room on a Saturday night and it was pretty packed. Very speakeasy-esque and intimate lighting. Probably better for a private conversation on a weeknight. I tried their espresso martini - pretty good, would recommend. It's a pretty small location, so sitting at the bar or a long the walls is ideal. Would definitely come back again!

Had a great chance to try this place on a Monday. The bartender was friendly and helpful. The drink was very good and the ambiance was kinda cool because it was like old school. Loved the drink names too.

Small dark bar with cozy booths and lots of purple velvet. Awesome spot for a pre or post dinner drink.

The Walnut Room is a fancy cocktail bar with strong satisfying drinks. Great vibes, efficient service, and seating for both groups and couples. I like the location, theres plenty of street parking on south Main Street.

When I first walked in, I was really excited about the small bar vibe. Decor is super unique and the view looks out to the water which is really cool. When I go to a small bar, one of the thinks I appreciate is staff that speaks with customers and is super welcoming. Unfortunately that wasn't the case at the bar. The two bartenders were talking really loudly about personal matters and didn't really say much to customers. The drink itself was unique. Sweet but fresh. I've never had a hazelnut drink before but it was quite good.

This place is so cool!! Love the speakeasy bar vibe and the cocktails were great. Had an Americano ($10), an Espresso Martini ($14) and the La Louisiane ($12). The bartender was amazing too. He knew his stuff and was cranking out tons of drinks on the busy night. Definitely be back!

Great spot for a date! We went in after dinner on a Friday night. It was fairly busy while we were there. We ordered two drinks and both were good. I ordered the traveling man and would give it a 5/5. The staff were friendly and attentive and the ambiance was great. It was listed under a speakeasy, but I didn't get the speakeasy vibe, but it was a great place to go back to. Lights were low with a candle at our table. There were curtains, but they were open to view in and out to the street.

I love a good dim bar. Felt like a gentleman's cigar bar vibe. Very classy and relaxed decor. The bartender was knowledgeable and fast making drinks. I'd recommend if your into classy cocktails and willing to pay for quality.

A really cozy atmosphere and the perfect Manhattan. The bartender was charming. Ask him about his next film.

Wow. If you're looking for a spot that has amazing food, beautiful art and design aspects, friendly…read moreservice, and plates to share, Aguardente is the place for you. A friend and I came in and put our names on the waitlist, waited for about 45 minutes at a bar down the street, and then had some of the most fulfilling tapas ever! We got a Prosciutto & Salpicao board, the Queijo de Cabra, and Frijol Dip. I also got a nice portuguese red wine that paired well with some of the cheese we received. We sat in a very sweet and cozy nook and enjoyed every minute! I will be back when it's warm out and the front patio is open!

At their front patio, they had the World Cup game playing, but the back patio felt cozier so we opted for that. The inside though was a strong second since the lighting is very low, creating a cool and calm environment. Walking through the restaurant to get to our table made me realize that each table is unique, no two are decorated the same or have the same furniture. It was a hot day but the overhead mesh cover blocked out a lot of the sun. Our waitress made us feel very welcome from the start and told us about their drink and food specials. My friend ordered Guatemalan beer as well as a Spanish beer. For food, we ordered the plantain fries, octopus, calamari, and shrimp salad, and grilled lamp chops. The seafood salad came out first. According to the menu, it was going to be paired with cornbread. It looked like sourdough bread but had a far denser consistency. I was expecting the salad to have lots of shrimp to act as a filler but surprisingly, it was about 60% octopus, 25% calamari, 10% shrimp, and 5% onions. The seafood was very flavorful, tasted fresh, and cooked perfectly. The portion size was great for two. Next came the plantain fries, which I was least impressed with as it was essentially fried plantain chunks. I think it would have been better if they were cut into smaller pieces that can be easily dipped and consumed in one bite. The plantain was gently ripe, so just a little sweet and the dipping sauce was like a less sour sour cream. Lastly, the lamp chops came out and the presentation was wonderful. They were a bit skinnier and less tender than that I was expecting, but flavor wise they were good. We enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service here.

I was lucky to have tried North when it was open so when I saw the former chefs were preparing the meal for Chef Night, I knew I had to sign up and was so glad I did. The meal was stupendous! The first course was shrimp and corn fritters. The fritters were filled with shrimp and corn and you can visually see the shrimp and corn. It wasn't overly doughy and the sauce was delicious! Chef Andrew described the dish and he told us that the shrimp was locally sourced from Dune Brothers. The second course was noodles with tomato and pepper dashi and grilled fish. The noodles were fresh, but it started to get a little clumpy. The dashi was really flavorful. The third course was miso tres leches cake with sakura whipped cream. This course I was the most excited about and it totally blew my expectations. Chef Andrew told us that they hand picked sakura petals and made their own whipped cream. The tres leches cake was moist, dense, and airy. The dessert was definitely the star of the show. Bravo to chefs Andrew McQuesten and Stephen Sternkopf for a wonderful locally sourced meal. Jean-Marc and the other bartender were also very friendly and accommodating. They checked on all the customers throughout the night and made yummy drinks. I had the Toasted Venture. This is one of the signature cocktails and has Toasted Pumpkin Seed-Infused Misguided Spirits Red Sky Silver Rum/Cynar/St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur/Rosemary Elixir/Mole Bitters. It was very good. A time at Clementine's is always wonderful.
