Lucky MI with Laotian sausage. Amazing
Mikey A.

If you know me you know I love banh mi (shout out to asian bakery for the best banh mi in Providence) so when I heard lucky enough makes one I had to check it out. Lucky Enough is a cool funky neighborhood joint that feels like a cross between a dive and a sports bar. Rock n roll memorabilia adorns the walls along with quite a few TVs showing various sporting events. The drinks are decently priced and they have malort !! Now that may be a positive or a negative for you. The banh mi was excellent. Crusty bread, the way it should be and the whole package was very flavorful. I like that they use Laotian sausage in it, which is a great touch. My only gripe with lucky enough is if it's really busy and you are stuck sitting on the long table with the super giant TV behind you it can feel a little annoying. But outside of this it's a great place and I look forward to trying more items from the menu.

Located on Westminster, but there is ample street parking. Various seating options, inside and out. Size inclusive. Had a good banter with our server. Very chill and friendly atmosphere in general as well. Loved the loation sausage on lucky mi. The cubano was good as well. The sides that come with the sandwich is a bag of chips, but you can upgrade to fries for an extra cost, but they were out. Also, they offer mocktails and cool cocktails as well.

Brownie Ala Mode. 100% pure Deeeeeliciousness!

Was at the nearby casino for a show when we realized at 11pm that we hadn't eaten since 4 and we were feeling some snacks. After calling around, this place said they had a late night menu. Into a Lyft we went! Their late night menu is quite full of goodness! We settled on sharing a falafel sandwich and onion rings. The onion rings were average could have used a little salt, but the falafel was OUT OF THIS WORLD good! So flavorful and fresh. The cocktails were creative and tasty. The space was fairly small, but wasn't too loud in spite of this. Our waitress (Serena) was very attentive and noticed right away when our water glasses needed topping off. big fan. I would drive from New Hampshire two hours just for the falafel. Best I've ever had. We ended the excursion with a brownie ala mode. Also excellent. The chocolate ice cream vs. vanilla was a very pleasant surprise. I'm sad we decided to share the meals. In retrospect, if it wasn't so late, I might have gotten my own!

Great Concept for Crappy Providence Excellent establishment! Extremely accommodating staff and wonderful beverages and food. Ceasar salad is crisp and clean with fresh ingredients. Wings are phenomenal! Great greasy wonderful subs. Cocktails are well thought out and there are many options to choose from. Tip: Special shot and beer choices. Worth the visit! Providence still stinks! Thanks

This place is amazing. It's truly a hidden gem. The place has a large bar and tables around it. Service is impeccable. For starters we had the spicy potatoes and the brussels sprouts. Both were delicious and we would get again. They homemake all of their sauces and it shows. We spilt the pulled pork sandwich which was to die for. The best pulled pork sandwich I have had out ever. We got cauliflower ends for the side and the dipping sauce was also delicious. The ambiance of this place is a relaxed bar but the food is sensational. It'll be my new go to when I don't know what to eat.

The salad is HUGE and the onion rings ate delish. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to Manhattans and the bartender put together an impressive drink.

Always have had great service here. The beer choice is plentiful with many fun cocktails to choose from. The food is pretty standard pub food with some specials but well made & filling. The place is on the smaller end but generally less busy & plenty of parking makes it a good choice for live sports events.

Both of the hot dog options, Chicago and chili dogs.

The service was stellar. We went around 6 on a Friday night. Our server was pleasant and responsive. What more can you ask for? The drinks were spot on and reasonably priced. The hummus and chips were good. I tried both of the 2 hot dogs (I love a good hot dog). They were just okay. My wife liked her black bean soup. I'd go back and give the food another try.

First off- we did not walk in blindly. My husband met Art while doing a Marketplace transaction. Art and my husband started chatting and told him about his bar, Lucky Enough. We just so happen to have found ourselves with childcare for a little alone time and decided let's check out Art's place. Super modern building but a quaint feel inside. Art did a lot of the work himself. Think reclaimed barn wood bar. Love the ode's to Elvis! Two games were playing and looks like a cool spot to host a little get together as we saw two birthday parties happening. We sat at the bar. We watched Art master his bar. He was cordial and super pleasant to all patrons. He knew a lot of people by first name. I am not a drinker but he played on my taste bud interests and started me off with a tang drink. I did enjoy it. My second drink, a port wine mixed drink. It was ok but the tang was where it was at for me! My husband tried a few crafts and ended with a good ol' Guinness. My favorite part- the food! We shared the bacon, spicy potatoes and a large Deluxe steak sandwich. The bacon is DELICIOUS! Doesn't need the siracha honey sauce. Its candied bacon really. I loved everything about it. The spicy potatoes, watch out the heat is contained inside like a hot pocket! Be careful! Slice them open, let the breather and enjoy! They looked battered but aren't. Good and different app. Now the steak sandwich. Large and totally in charge! My half was a whole sandwich on it's own! Steak, tomato, that bacon, cheese and smothers with garlic aioli! It was top notch! Also came with a bag of chips. Overall, we liked the vibe Art and his team throw out here. I go for the good food, my husband goes for the craft beer. If you are Lucky Enough, you will check it out.

Listen, I am SO happy we found this spot!!! This place is absolutely the best of the best dives I've been in since my local hometown bar closed down a few years back. We walked in on a rainy Saturday and Meg and her coworkers were just welcoming and a cool vibe. The menu is diverse, the drink menu is very delicious and well priced (actually everything is priced perfectly!) and the staff is awesome. The nachos are off the hook- get the birria meat on top and ask for the salsa verde. I literally have nothing bad to say about this place at all. I want to leave five stars but those are only reserved for out of this world and infinity type spots but I give it a 4.99999999999 and a half. So great!

Inside, there is bar that goes almost the length of the building, topped completely in pennies, with a couple of small tables at the rear. Bartender lady was busy with the regulars, knowing what everyone drank. She kept the cold beers coming for hubby & made a mean vodka soda for me. On our right, the guys were knee-deep into drinking. On our left, we met a pho aficionado with an opinion on every place in Rhode Island that serves it (Ebisu & Uncle Sushi were his faves). Cheap beer, stiff pours & an eclectic, slightly older crowd made for an interesting outing. It is everything a true dive bar should be (& the restroom was surprisingly very clean). FYI - no food service & cash only.

There's one bartender there which was nice but not much of a personality. I usually go there after a night of drinking for the after party. There's on-street parking and if you go early enough there's still room at the bar. There's also a jukebox. It's far from a fancy place but it's a fun place to kick back and relax with your friends. It's open late and it's a fun environment when you're playing your own music on the jukebox. Every-time I visit my friends we always somehow end the night here; usually on the weekends. If you're in the area and looking for laidback fun, check this place out. They don't have food but they sell chips and snacks. I also like how the bar top is lined with pennies!

We sat outdoors near the fire pit, which was pretty cozy and a great place for a larger group of people. I ordered a drink at the bar and Joe, my bartender, was super accommodating and nice! I was a little surprised it didn't have a salt rim as a margarita but I'm sure they would've added one if I requested it. The drink itself was AMAZING and the mezcal was super tasty. They don't skip on the portion of the drink. My favorite part was the presentation of the drink, I loved the little green flamingo! After a while, I got hungry and decided to order food. I love how they have many vegan options here. I ended up getting truffle tots, which were AMAZING. It was a pretty large portion, perfect for a filling snack. I was impressed with the freshness of them. I also tried my friend's order of regular tator tots which were also good but a bit on the salty side. I just wish it was non smoking here, I get that people can smoke outside but when the doors are open (front and back patio) people are just smoking near the door and the smell does carry in.

The building is pretty unassuming from the outside as it is located in a quiet part of town, though there is plenty to stare at as soon as you walk in the front door - the walls are covered with interesting trinkets from ship wheels and pirates to a 5-ft tiki sculpture in the corner. The outdoor patio is even more decked-out - much larger than I was expecting and fully-equipped with private tables and unique decor, including a coy pond and life-size statue of the ol' Cap'n himself. The best part of our time here was spent interacting with Michael - the man behind the bar. He was very friendly, engaging, and had plenty of great stories to tell. We felt very welcome the entire time and will definitely be stopping in again the next time we're in Providence!
