Huge seance selection for the wings. And the wings are legit. Clam chowder was a solid B.

Outstanding service and delicious food, all with a genuine hometown vibe. Plus, you won't have to deal with rowdy kids running around.

Came here today for a bridal shower. The atmosphere is very nice and the restaurant is beautiful. They have a private room upstairs that you use an elevator to access. It has its own bar. We had a list to choose from I chose the clam chowder and grilled chicken sandwich. The chowder was excellent. The chicken sandwich was very well made. A chimichurri sauce with avocado and bacon. Very good flavor and the bun it was served on was perfect.

Love the wings here! So many sauces to choose from. The wings are crispy!! I hate mushy wings. It's a go to for wings spot for me.

First time here. Wings were not cooked. Flavor was good. But not cooked. Steak sandwiche was over cooked.

Burger was ok. Food sat really heavy in our stomachs. Both my husband and I were nauseous for hours after eating here.

I've come here many times, but visited most recently for the RI Food Fights Big Burger Blowout. Our…read morewaitress was incredibly sweet and attentive. We got a few apps including the Brussel sprouts (amazing and big portion ) and the southwest egg rolls (also very good, smaller portion). We got the pizza of the day which was a chicken vodka ... wasn't that great, to be honest... but we asked for more sauce and they gave us some and it helped a bit. The smash burger was classic and I got mine lettuce wrapped instead of a bun, which was nice! Music was loud, but that is expected.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and after a coffee run nearby, we decided we needed a snack. We walked in not even knowing what games were on and the place was packed, always a good sign. We grabbed a couple seats at the corner of the bar and were greeted right away. All three women behind the bar were personable, friendly and on top of everything, which made the experience even better. We started with spicy coconut margaritas which were so good, then split a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. I had mine as a lettuce wrap and it was flavorful, juicy and delicious. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Great energy, friendly service and a really solid burger. I will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu.

Stopped by for a quick dinner during a road trip and this place had really good food!read more

Dave's has a homey feel with decent prices. I hate to be critical since it always seems packed and…read moreseems to be well-loved, but they just keep missing the mark. A cocktail, food, and specials menu are provided, but they have a ton on tap and yet don't tell you what it is. You have to request a menu for non cocktail drinks which is crazy. The servers never seem to know what is on tap when you ask them, either. Service was great last time I visited when we had the lovely Favor helping us. More recently when I had someone else, service was slow and not amazing, I wasn't offered a water refill until I was packing up to leave. She did say she was newer, but the cadence of her visits was strange. I give Dave's extra points for serving their mozzarella Sticks with a homemade marinara (it leans heavy on a green pepper flavor so sadly it's not my favorite, but you can tell some love went into it and it didn't just come out of a jar). I asked for a small container to go for the marinara sauce to go with my leftover mozzarella Sticks since I didn't touch too many of them, but no container was given. I didn't notice until I got home and then was so sad, since eating leftover mozz sticks plain is just not fun...giving you sauce for the road should be a given when I had so much left! Obvious things like this just seem to get missed by the staff; they are always slammed on nights I go and are running around frantically. It seems they just need to add more servers, especially on trivia night - nearly every table was full! Most alarmingly, on my last visit, my friend was given spoiled sour cream with her meal. I ordered a Blue Moon with an orange slice, and somehow both the beer and orange tasted expired and off. I had my friend taste test to make sure it wasn't just in my head, and she confirmed it tasted not right. I sent it back and got a Cherry Cider, which was delicious albeit a little too sweet (asked my server for the brand since I like some ciders and hate others, but she never got back to me...it'd be nice to know). When my bill came, I was charged for the Blue Moon I had 5 sips of. I questioned it and the server gave me a little attitude to be honest. I couldn't believe I had to fight to get an item that was expired taken off my tab. She almost made me feel in the wrong and embarrassed for asking, when that should be standard customer service practice. Ultimately it was removed, but I was made to feel like I was being high maintenance....not cool. One of the two women's bathrooms always seems to be closed due to an issue. At least there's plenty of parking in the large lot since you can use the spaces for the building that looks like a liquor store next door (I'm told it's the same owner and this is used as storage space and is not an operating liquor store? I'm unsure) It seems they just need better training for servers and more of them on busy nights so they aren't stretched so thin. This place has potential but the thought of eating expired sour cream makes my skin absolutely crawl....please keep a closer eye on ingredients! I will say that my friends have always been pleased with their meals for the most part, especially when it comes to their decadent desserts. The seafood options also seem to be a hit, but I have not tried them myself.
