This review is for Moving Dough Pizza. I have not had the opportunity to visit the restaurant itself yet, but I hope to try it soon. The pizza is prepared in a food trailer behind the restaurant. Hence the name, "Moving Dough." Parking is tight, so I suggest parking on Waterman Avenue and walking around to the back of the restaurant, where the trailer is located. I went with a simple cheese pizza and a pepperoni, pepper, and olive pie, both of which were excellent. Both were cooked perfectly, crisp but not burnt. Considering the quality of the pies and add-ons, the price was very fair. I'm eager to try the restaurant. read more

The only negatives is the ghost wings and Nashville hot aren't spicy a bit like we wanted and the bartender hardly came to our table she was busy talking . STAY AWAY!!!' I ordered a Tossed salad. How can you screw that up? I got a bowl full of lettuce and one tomato and a sliver of red onion It was the worst salad I ever had in my entire life. They should be ashamed of themselves to even have to serve this to a customer, but they get away with it because it's takeout. Good Food Short review, only got to stop in for a quick drink and split a sandwich. Place was hosting a large birthday party and was closed to the public that night. Was excited that DoorDash would deliver to us in Attleboro. We ordered a Rhody Flip pizza that was a special (think bakery pizza but elevated), plant-based burger with a side of fries and a side of onion rings with a side of their homemade ranch. Wow! I was surprised at how delicious everything was as sometimes with delivery, the food isn't as good as it would be hot and fresh out the kitchen. We loved everything. The pizza dough was amazing and the sauce was generous and yummy. I had the plant-based burger the next day. It was huge (2 meals worth) and did not have me missing the beef vat all. I've heard great things about this place and I live so close; I'm ashamed to say I JUST made it here. First- the SERVICE. The waitress who was also the bartender at the bar did an amazing job. She was very knowledgable about the menu and even catered to my crazy request (salt and vinegar dry rub on the side for my boneless wings) The drinks were yummy, (affordable) and the music they played was perfect. My friend and I decided we will be coming back for a night out for sure. It's very clean inside, kinda small but large enough to not feel ontop of one another. The food was really yummy. My friend and I ordered the loaded tots, mozz sticks and boneless "chunks" (nuggets). All very scrumptious and all reasonably priced. The only downfall is the parking but we parked on the main road and if that's the only complaint- then this place is worth returning to! read more

My family and I went to The Local to have a quick bite before getting back to MA. I have been to many dive bars in my time. But this one really had a pleasant atmosphere. There are sports jerseys everywhere, and they are signed! The bartenders/ waitresses were very polite and welcoming. The food was delicious! We had the Sliders, the parm sub and the chicken cutlet club. We enjoyed the food so much, I asked our waitress to tell cooks it was yummy! Great sports bar with many screens so you can easily see your game from any seat. They had plenty of seats at the bar, high top tables, standard tables, and an outdoor space with even more tvs! We arrived at the end of a live music set, which was good but very loud for how small the space is. Overall, loud is definitely one of the main descriptors I would use for The Local. We had to nearly shout at each other from across the table. The other descriptors I would use are well priced and delicious. They have tons of great specials - we got the 50 cent wings since it was after 7pm, and they were so tender and well flavored. I also got a Rodeo burger, which was very tasty and still tasted good leftover. They have a diversity of seasonal drinks that are cheaper than expected but the size of the drink sort of evens out the price. Went to an event in the area and we were looking for food afterwards. We stumbled upon this restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. We arrived about an hour before the kitchen closed and were nervous that it's shut down early but it didn't. Instead, the bartender/waitress Tracy had a greeted us so warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond her roll to ensure that we were feed as soon as possible without compromising on the quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean sport bar. It was very welcoming as well. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived steaming hot, just the way that I like it. I wish this restaurant was closer to my house because I would be a regular there. Upon talking with Tracy we learned that the restaurant had only been open for 2 years. If it continues to focus on the food quality and flavors, maintain the level of cleanliness and customer service I forsee this being a very successful business. I will definitely make the drive back there to eat. Side note - my brother also got the chicken sandwich and liked it so much he ordered a second one Another note - the food quality to price ratio (something I really care about when I go to a restaurant) was awesome. Stopped in for lunch during the week. The bar was mostly full, but we managed to snag a couple seats. Happily they have bag hooks for your purse by some of the seats. The bartender and a cook were the only two staff on duty. The kitchen is open to the bar area and the gentleman in there was methodically plodding along cooking for current customers and prepping for the evening crowd. Constant motion. The bartender was chatting with customers. We received menus as soon as we sat down. There is a full bar and a few beers on tap. The menu is hearty pub food. My SO chose their 3 sliders. He enjoyed them all very much. My 'philly phily' was very filling and tasty. I upgraded my side to onion rings and they were nice slices of battered onion. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is solid and they have a huge TV and a couple of sofas for game days. There are two 'single' restrooms. I had food delivered twice and found similar issues each time. Though it was well cooked with great portion sizes (definitely looking for more bang for my buck in this economy) both times there were seasoning issues. Fries and onion rings lacked seasoning and only tasted of the oil they were cooked in. One one occasion I ordered a philly and the second I ordered a buffalo chicken grinder. Both times they skimped on the cheese and the sauce, making the sandwiches dry. This turned what could've been a solid B plus meal into a C minus. read more

The place looks like a hole in the wall when driving by, but let me tell this anything but. The place is spotless, the food is AMAZING and the service was awesome. Found this gem by searching for 'sports bars nearby' and really scored! We are from out of the area and needed a place to enjoy the Saturday noon college game day matches. The comfy couches home basement-like viewing area with ability to watch 3 games at once was a hit. We got here early enough to claim our spot in this friendly, clean and well setup establishment. It was a very well air conditioned place. The guys loved it. With long sleeves, I was good. For food, we got Buff-A-Que wings, turkey Club and crispy chicken club sandwich. All were excellent yet the edging out winner was the wings. Large and meaty to say the least. Some good warmth but not too much. The accompanying ranch was clearly homemade and delicious. I went to pick up lunch from The Local when I was on my lunch break from work. If it was after work, I would have wanted to eat there. The ambiance is relaxing but also pretty neat with the sports vibes. It would definitely be a cool place to hangout with friends and watch a game while eating lunch. I ordered the Honey Butter Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was amazing! It was a large sandwich that was crispy and flavorful. I am not a huge fan of French fries but theirs were very good. It was not a low calorie meal by any means but in terms of comfort food, I wish I could eat their Honey Butter Fried Chicken Sandwich regularly. Writing about it just makes me want to go over there now and order one. I highly suggest people swinging by to enjoy the great food and ambiance with friends. Three separate spaces, for three separate purposes, but no instructions to navigate this whatsoever. We ordered some food online, entered the main entrance, were told to go around the corner, then directed to yet another entrance. Not really user friendly. I gotta say - I was blown away by the food I had delivered the other night (on a snowy evening) even though I live only 3 blocks away and could have walked to pick it up. The beet goat cheese salad was incredible and the wood-fired pizzas I got were better than most I've ever had. I saved The Yard Bird sandwich I ordered (asked for the chicken to be grilled rather than fried) to bring with me to work the following day and all my co-workers (RI Hospital) wanted to know where I got it. I went there a couple times when they first opened and sat at the bar, although it's a younger crowd that I don't quite fit in with, I felt really comfortable with the people next to me trying to teach me how to play Keno (no, I left not a winner). They didn't have wood-fired pizza at that time. I had a BLT that was outstanding and had to take 1/2 of it home because of the size of it. The Local is way above and beyond my expectations. read more
