The service was great very friendly bartender she made me the best chai martini ever totally recommend it. I order the soups de clam it's in a red sauce very delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today is Friday the music is good very lively personality I like it but if you want a quiet romantic place the music is a little loud so everyone is speaking somewhat loudly lol but everybody seems to be having a good time as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's 9:46 and the place is not super packed which is ok, I think I missed the rush ;)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] they have four TV's captions on .. over all I will come back to try the ribeye stake with crab meat on top.

Even when busy we are always seated quickly. Service always friendly. Food is inconsistent. Last time boneless tenders were great. This time slightly overcooked and dry. I wasn't a fan of the CBR pizza. Toppings were very inconsistent. Mostly centered in middle. Barely any chicken or bacon (you can see in my photos). I'll definitely return but might pass on the pizza and try something else.

So this was the first time I've been back to the Social after some previously less than impressive visits when they first opened. Stopped in tonight after a long day at work for a drink and a late dinner. We were seated quickly and were just about to question whether anything had changed when a very effervescent Nicole came over and apologized for not getting to us sooner and took our drink order. We were going to get just a simple Pepperoni pizza but instead went with the CBR (which is totally outside my wheelhouse) but my fiancee tires of 'Roni. We also decided to try their thicker Sicilian style rectangular pie. So the Chicken Bacon Ranch was a surprisingly good pizza and while it's tough getting past the lack of red sauce ... this was an impressive pizza nonetheless. We were also quite hungry too so that didn't hurt our judging factor. Nicole's personality definitely helped; she was smiling and outgoing and chatty even in an otherwise busy dining room. I still think the prices at the Social are a tad high and I know we can eat at other places in North Providence for less.

Food was great! Served very hot. Huge portions. Service was friendly and fast. Few mistakes on the bills that were fixed quickly. Will definitely be back.

Massimo's has street parking or valet. They also take reservations. We came on a Monday and chose to order from their prix fixe menu. They also have a great à la carte menu. Our dinner came with focaccia and olives, a glass of house wine, an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $38/pp. Portions were smaller than the à la carte dishes but enough for us. Between my husband and I, we ordered the caprese salad and meatballs appetizers, sliced strip steak with mashed potatoes and mushrooms, a fettuccine with asparagus and prosciutto with cream sauce, and dessert was the pannecotta and cannoli. Pasta was freshly made and al dente, steak was tender and flavorful. We loved everything. My only complaint that for a large restaurant, bathroom was small. Only one unit per gender.

The crust had that perfect wood-fired char -- crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with just the right amount of crunch around the edges. The clam chowder side was such a Rhode Island/New England experience. Creamy, savory, loaded with seafood flavor, and topped with fresh herbs and potatoes that gave true chowder vibes in pizza form. Honestly, you can't come to Providence and not try chowder in every form possible! The meat lovers side was bold, hearty, and stacked with toppings. Pepperoni curled perfectly at the edges, sausage was flavorful, and every bite had the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and smoky meat flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed, modern, and perfect for casual dining with friends or family. Great food, great vibe, and definitely a spot worth revisiting while in Providence.
