My concern was that the crust was really thin and just not that great, but still had a couple slices. The buffalo sauce was good for sure. We also had the cookie skillet for dessert which was very ooey gooey but perhaps a little too sweet. You may be thinking, "well yeah of course it's sweet, it's a cookie skillet," but it was an over powering sweetness. But it was a really good portion for sharing with my group of three! The vibe here was pretty nice, the old-firehouse-turned-bar is cool and the decor matches the aesthetic well. There are booths in little nooks and others out in the open and I like the variability. They also have a privateish area for private events. Theres even a parking lot! The service was also good, I was there for their Super Bowl watch party, and while it wasn't insanely busy, the servers were very attentive. As I said, I came here for the Super Bowl with some friends. They had raffles going, a DJ, plenty of TVs showing the game, some free swag, and a special menu. It was nice! They had a special drink menu, although it did advertise deals on food which ended up not being true. I had fun watching the game here, and while the place wasn't packed, most of the other spectators were from the local colleges... they were rather annoying, especially by the end of the night. Different groups were arguing with each other by the end, and one kid swore at the DJ for drawing a raffle winner that wasn't one of the college kids. The kids were leaving so the staff didn't need to intervene I'd say. But it brought us non-college student patrons together. Ah, the game day spirit! So if you're looking for a mature crowd, this may not be the place!

The burrata itself was good, but the strawberries tasted like they came from a can or pie filling instead of being fresh. It's the middle of summer, so that was disappointing. The focaccia served with it was fresh, but completely unseasoned and bland. A little olive oil, herbs, or flaky salt would have made a huge difference. For our entrees, we ordered the pasta special with chicken, peppers, and "broccolini" in a garlic sauce, along with the short rib grilled cheese and garlic Parmesan chips. First, the dish didn't contain broccolini--it was regular broccoli. That's not a huge deal, but the menu should be accurate. The penne was undercooked, the red peppers tasted like they came from a can, and the broccoli seemed straight from a frozen bag. The entire dish arrived tasting like it had been reheated in a microwave rather than cooked to order. There were only a couple of other tables in the restaurant, and they had only been open for about an hour, so that was surprising. On top of that, the dish was very bland. The short rib grilled cheese was actually the highlight of the meal. The short rib was tender and flavorful, and the sandwich had a lot of potential. However, the plain focaccia made it a little dry, and it really could have used some type of sauce or spread to bring everything together. The garlic Parmesan chips were stale, bland, and also seemed pre-made. To top it off, the menu clearly advertises that kids eat free all day on Mondays, yet we were charged $8 each for our kids' penne with red sauce. This restaurant has the potential to be really good. The ingredients and menu ideas are there, but the execution falls short. Fresher ingredients, cooking food to order, more seasoning, and a little more creativity would make a world of difference.

The pizza is prepared in a food trailer behind the restaurant. Hence the name, "Moving Dough." Parking is tight, so I suggest parking on Waterman Avenue and walking around to the back of the restaurant, where the trailer is located. I went with a simple cheese pizza and a pepperoni, pepper, and olive pie, both of which were excellent. Both were cooked perfectly, crisp but not burnt. Considering the quality of the pies and add-ons, the price was very fair. I'm eager to try the restaurant.

There is also many TVs throughout the area making it great spot to catch a game including a couch & an intimate outdoor area (also with a TV).
