Small strip mall wings joint with some Buffalo sports memorabilia for street cred, but their Buffalo wings have so much credibility on their own that they could put up Captain Kangaroo decor, and I'd still come running. It's over-the-counter ordering, with pizzas another option, and more importantly, you can also get beer to complement your wings. -- Buffalo Wings: From the first visit, some of the best I've had in a long, long time. Not the biggest (I'd say right around average size), but they nailed every aspect, from the piercing tartness of the sauce to match the spice, to the butteriness, to the crispness of every surface, to the tender and juicy interiors on every piece. If that weren't enough, the blue cheese tipping sauce was also spectacular, with noticeable sharpness and lots of chunks of real cheese to go along with the creamy liquid. They matched the buffalo sauce nicely. -- Loganberry Wings: From the second visit, a Buffalo regional sauce mixing raspberry flavors with barbecue sauce. The result is a mix of sweet and savory in a rich, full-bodied sauce with plenty of oomph and plenty of cling. It's sweet for sure, but its barbecue sauce component cuts it and a dip into some ranch cuts it more while adding a little something. I loved the sauce. The wings, though, were a little bit smaller and a little bit dryer this time. Still very good. -- 716 Mulberry Chicken Fingers: Also from the second visit. Nothing like Chinese chicken fingers; more like a chicken tender, and more still like a chicken cutlet. Three flat pieces in the small order provided minimal thickness, but a decent amount of meat, spread out. The Mulberry sauce has a Buffalo base with some additional secret seasonings and other ingredients to change the flavor a bit. Not bad, but I think I'd go straight Buffalo next time. Tender inside, but no crispness outside. This includes fries, which were a very solid McDonald's facsimile. Notable: Easy parking in their own lot. A minimum 25-minute wait for wings, so plan accordingly. Friendly, helpful counter people. So two visits, one great, one very good. Some memorable sauces and some memorable presentations. Ample seating inside and outside and they have a parking lot. We liked the buffalo chicken pizza and the wings. The double order of chicken tenders is huge, we had plenty of leftovers. We drive by their plaza all the time & never knew they were there. They have a bunch of sauces but were offering: - 401 (buffalo base sauce mild in nature & savory, it's a little twist on their buffalo mild) - 716 Mulberry (buffalo base sauce its a medium spice, it's a little twist on their buffalo medium) - Loganberry BBQ (it's a berry BBQ sauce with a blend of raspberry & blackberry infused into BBQ sauce) Hubby ordered the 716 Mulberry, I ordered the Loganberry BBQ. When you close your eyes & dream of the perfect buffalo sauce for wings, this is it. We also very much enjoyed the Loganberry BBQ with the char on the wings, not too sweet & a nice bit of heat. We were in the mood for a little something else so we ordered a small cheese pizza. YUM! We got to chat with one of the owners for a while & she couldn't have been nicer. She made us try the PJ's Crystal Beach Original Loganberry drink they have at the soda station. Not my cup of tea but hubby liked it (especially if you added a spritz of vodka!). This was my first stop for the 2026 #LordOfTheWings RI Food Fights challenge. I had heard good things about this place from colleagues and I was excited to try it. For the competition, they were offering three of their signature sauces I went with the 716 Mulberry. Their menu describes it as a "Buffalo Base Sauce. It's a little twist on our buffalo medium". The wings came out hot and were so crispy. No breading, just a crisp wing with the perfect amount of sauce. The spice was medium in my estimation BUT I know a lot of people will find them a bit on the hot side. The base was definitely buffalo as advertised with added spices that really switched up in a nice way. They were on the salty side, but not in a bad way. I very much enjoyed their take on a traditional buffalo sauce. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. We went on a Sunday during football season so they had four screens playing the days games. Most people seem to be coming in for takeout which makes sense but they were plenty of tables for beauty said that if you plan to eat at the restaurant. They had both fountain and cooler, soft drinks and a beer selection on tap. They offer counter service and our cashier was very friendly and answered all my questions about the menu choices. They do charge about $17 for 10 wings which I find a bit on the pricey side however they are a good quality so if you're gonna splurge, you won't be disappointed in the wing read more

Came here for lord of the wings and definitely could be a contender for the winner. Their wings were fantastic, no breading needed just a solid wing. Plenty of sauce! Get your napkins ready!both flavors we had were delicious! They don't take the lord of the wings coupons on Sunday as an FYI! I wish their fries were homemade just a generic frozen fry, I think a fresh one could elevate them along with the onion rings too! Friendly people, and a quality pizza. Thin crust, good cheese mixture and a good sauce. In a vacuum this is a place that probably would be in the rotation of places I'd hit up. But, unfortunately, we don't live in a vacuum. For me, at least, it's just too expensive. $16+ for a small pizza, when I can get a large at other places for $12-$18, makes it an easy pass. If the quality was higher it would've helped and given me some consideration for the higher price, but it isn't that good for me to pay that price. And as I said initially, it's not bad by any means. I ordered a pepperoni pizza cooked light. It was well done and the pepperoni was burnt. The sauce wasn't very good either so I called and talked to the owner. Was told I would get a refund the next day. That never happened. Reached out through e mail. Was told they don't give refunds. Kinda contradicting. Bad business ethics and poor communication. I decided to try something new a few Sundays ago and ordered a large Supreme pizza and garlic buffalo wings for the Patriots game. Online ordering was easy, and delivery was fairly quick. Unfortunately, about 80% of the pizza was burnt on the bottom. It had very little sauce, which made it dry and inedible. The buffalo wings were tasty but a bit pricey. I managed to eat a few slices and didn't feel like calling to complain, so I used their website's contact form to share my experience. I was just as excited as the next person to welcome authentic Buffalo cuisine to RI. I followed their progress closely and gave it a few days before heading in. It was surprisingly empty for a new spot at dinner time. Pricing was a bit surprising but with how much everything is these days - I was hoping for value. I stood at the counter while the cashier took 2 phone orders. She was nice so I won't hold it against her. Went with a simple pizza, a bunch of of wings, some tenders and sides. $100 later and I left underwhelmed. First - wait time was fine for "fresh fry" but what we got was not what I thought was coming. Party sized wings varied in size - but acceptable all around. I do however feel like they come in frozen. Coupled by standard frozen tenders and basic sides - i think fresh fry means they are cooking to order - not that we are getting fresh product. 401 Sauce: asked what it was and was literally told "I don't know how to explain it" It tasted like a mild/medium buffalo with Parmesan and maybe blue cheese? Not my style Hot buffalo - buttery and thick - but not hot. I enjoyed it. But need more heat. Loganberry BBQ - along with the Loganberry beverage - this was a nice change of pace. Unlike anything I've had in my travels. Not craveable but tasty. I'd recommend it. Sides. $7 for 4 onion rings and a small handful of fries is what disappointed me. But the kicker for me was as we left. The owner was in and out, but as we left we walked past him. I know he is the owner as I followed their build progress etc. As we left - we got nothing. Not a "thank you" a "how was everything" not a "see you again soon". This might sound like nitpicking, but pride of ownership would trump an overpriced plate of fries any day. I've been hard pressed to find a replacement since my go to wing spots have been out of business - and the search will continue. Crust cooked perfectly. Thin but not crunchy. Doesn't flop over. Outer crust crunchy but airy. Cup pepperoni very flavorful. Ordered the mild buffalo wings. We moved to Rhode Island from Western New York a few years ago and have been looking (unsuccessfully) for somewhere with wings that could compare to what we were used to. Naturally, we were thrilled to hear about 401 Wingz opening up. We stopped in the day after their official opening, and they absolutely delivered. We ordered 20 wings (10 with medium sauce, 10 with Mulberry sauce, using a recipe from a Buffalo restaurant), a large pepperoni pizza, shoestring fries, and some of their raspberry dessert logs. The wings were excellent - they would easily hold their own in Buffalo. Where so many of the wings we've had elsewhere are undercooked (a little too soggy/flabby), these were cooked perfectly, tender but crisp on the outside. The Buffalo sauce was exactly what I was looking for, with a nice level of heat for medium. I had never been to Mulberry myself, so I wasn't sure what to expect from this sauce, but it was also very tasty. It was very similar to the Medium sauce but had a subtle difference that I'm still trying to identify. Texture-wise, the sauces were a little toward the thicker end of the spectrum - if we're comparing to Duff's and Anchor Bar, these were closer to Duff's. They had plenty other sauces that we didn't have a chance to try tonight, but we look forward to giving them a try in future visits. The rest of the food was also delicious. Those familiar with food from Western New York will love the cup and char pepperoni (they didn't have it this time due to distributor error, but I was promised they would have it soon) and loganberry from the drink fountain. We chatted with the owner and her daughter briefly, and they were delightful. Needless to say, we look forward to many delicious visits in the future! read more
