My family and I found the next wing spot in the area!!! This is a local family owned business and would absolutely recommend. The host was very very nice and his recommendation were right on target. We always like to taste a few classics and venture off to other flavors and he got it right !! We ordered the 24 wings on the bone. We were able to order different flavors-4 to be exact :). The plain wings, the bang sauce, the Jenny wings and garlic parsley. Mannnnnnnnn I liked them all but my favorite was the bang sauce. It's super super good. We also got an order of regular fries and Mac and cheese which were also delicious!!! The cutest thing was that he put a special touch on my little ones drink! He made it into this icey floating drink :) Would definitely recommend!

This tiny place is hidden on the main road in Johnston. Son and dad have opened an establishment to cook homestyle fried chicken and waffles at a reasonable price. I ordered 12 wings 6 Garlic Parm and 6 Buffalo (13.99) A side salad (5.95) and a can of soda( .99). Good prices. These wings were delicious, they could be a bit more crunchy but they are still good. Don't forget to order a special waffle for dessert - fruity pebbles, toasted crunch or coco puffs. This place is worth the try. I will be back.

A hidden gem. Met the owners, Pop & the son, I didn't catch his name, both were nice and welcoming. Being our first time there, we were unsure what sauces to get, so they gave us some samples to try. We decided on the Pop's sauce, Bang Bang sauce, & Hennessy sweet sauce. All sauces and wings were phenomenal, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! The waffle fries and Mac n cheese were good, too! Definitely worth the visit & we will be back. ** sorry for the blurry photos. I had only took a video

You really need to try new things sometimes so here we are.. The unfortunate thing about the location of this place is that there is no parking lot. But that didn't scare us.. we parked across the street on the side of the road. We got 24 wings (Garlic Parmesan, Terriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Sweet Chilli)

It's been a while since I had wings this good. I had the Cinnamon Chipotle my wife had the Louisiana Cajun. Wings are made to order no factory made microwaved wings here. Crispy skin and outside juicy soft meat. Most wing places either have premise junk or fry the wing until you have chicken bark. This place gets it. Guy here is very friendly and inviting! Decor is sleek and cool. We'll definitely be coming back soon and often. My stomach thanks you my waistline might not. We had chicken wings and fries next time I'll definitely be grabbing those waffles, though.

This place is really cute, tiny hole in the wall with a super small sign that you wouldn't notice. Unfortunately there website is not up to date as they are open at 12:30pm not 12:00. Also there website doesn't state that the lunch specials are only on the weekdays. I wouldn't advertise that they are "jumbo wings" as they are small in my opinion. I got chicken fingers waffle fries and lemon pepper chicken wings. On a side note; The chicken fingers and wings were absolutely delicious. The wing flavor Lemon pepper was very very good. The fries were soggy and disappointing. Will be back for the wings only maybe if they have specials for football. They also do not do flats only, disappointing

A really solid wing place! Lots of sauce options. Love a boneless wing, too! Friendly staff. Clean and good location with parking. Work a trip!

Meh Local spot right…read morenext to one of our bar favorites Mr. Bigg's. I have a question, the place is called the Chicken Coop but in theory they have very few chicken options to eat. A fried chicken sandwich with different toppings options, chicken fingers, and wings. No grilled chicken options, fried chicken on a salad (that's not a salad), and just as many burger options as chicken. Fried chicken boneless wings, which are the same as half cut chicken tenders and fried chicken sliders (which is basically a small fried chicken sandwich). As for the fried chicken sandwiches we ordered, 6 out of 10. A bit greasy and the a bun that's a bit too bready. Removed half the bun to eat. We also had wings, they were pretty good. Fried right, good sauce. Bright spot here was the service, server and bartender were very friendly and attentive. It was Friday night at 6:30 and it was slow. I think the issue here is that if you don't want a fried chicken sandwich or a burger you're gonna go elsewhere. Really need to evaluate the menu. Local business and I hope it does well, but there are things to fix here. Try it and formulate your own opinion. Thanks

I can't believe we had never been to Carmine's before. Honestly, I didn't even realize it was there…read moreuntil a couple of weeks ago when we happened to drive by. I remembered the building from when it was Cal's and had no idea Carmine's had moved into the space. I'm glad we finally decided to stop in because this place was an absolute home run. The dining room is on the smaller side and pretty simple, but that's part of its charm. It's comfortable, welcoming, and puts the focus exactly where it belongs, on the food. We arrived around 5:00 p.m. and there was only one other table occupied, but by the time we finished dinner the restaurant had filled up. After eating there, it's easy to understand why. My wife and I are admittedly pizza snobs. At our home in Phoenix we even have an outdoor wood-fired pizza oven, so we're probably a little more critical than the average customer. Naturally, when we saw pizza on the menu we had to order one. We went with the Carmine Pizza, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The crust had great texture, the toppings were balanced, and everything worked together without trying too hard. I'd go as far as saying it's one of the best pizzas I've had in North Providence. I also ordered the Italian Wedding Soup, something I hadn't had in years, and it instantly reminded me why I used to love it. It was flavorful, comforting, and exactly what I was hoping for. For my entrée I ordered the veal parmigiana. I always think it's a good benchmark for an Italian-American restaurant because it sounds simple, but you'd be surprised how many places manage to overcook the veal or drown everything in mediocre sauce. Carmine's got it exactly right. The veal was tender, the breading stayed crisp under the sauce, and the gravy had that rich, homemade flavor that reminded me of family dinners growing up. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, just the way it should be. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. The portions here are generous, and considering the quality of the food, I thought the prices were extremely reasonable. One of the nicest surprises of the evening was finding out our server was also the owner. He spent some time telling us about the restaurant, why he moved into this location, and checked on us throughout the meal without ever hovering. You could tell he genuinely cared that everyone was enjoying themselves, and that kind of hospitality is becoming harder to find. If you're visiting for the first time, just know there's no dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to park on the street. It wasn't an issue at all, and certainly not something that would keep us from coming back. In fact, there's no question we'll be back. It's not a matter of if, but when. They're close enough to our home in Lincoln that I can already see takeout becoming a regular thing after a long week when neither of us feels like cooking. This was one of those meals that exceeded every expectation. Great food, generous portions, fair prices, and an owner who clearly takes pride in what he's serving. Carmine's has earned every bit of this five-star review.

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!
