Visited for the first time with a party of two, and it happened to be trivia night. Wing Power is small, but we were able to get a table and when the MC came around to ask if we wanted to participate in trivia, we thought why not? Well, it was really fun and we ended up coming in second place and winning a $10 gift certificate to come back! Drinks were excellent - they have a seven dollar margarita special on Tuesdays and they also have excellent frozen mudslides. We ordered garlic parm wings which were good (lots and lots of sauce! , and we also split a burger. Fries were excellent - super crispy which is just how I like them. Sauces were really good and service was spot on. We finished the night with an amazing freshly cooked doughboy. Yum!!!! We will be back! I had the pleasure of having a great night at Wing Power. I enjoyed the music and food. Even though I am a vegan diner who has food allergies, the staff went out of their way to accommodate me with my food choices. I had the pleasure to meet the owners and the mom who I had the pleasure of sitting with her to discuss our experiences living in Federal Hill area. What a sweetheart she is! Wonderful Family Business A great spot owned by great people. We have known the owners for years and they put this wonderful quaint spot together for their son to have a business. We've been here before... when it was the breakfast place! How funny our RI Food Fight- Wings coupon lead us to the 'new' Wing Power! Like what they have done with the place! Added a bar, thew up some tv's with sports playing and have a tiki hut outside. Our waitress was young, nice and got the job done! Besides for the wings, I liked the locals at the bar the best! We sat at a table with our 3 year old but I could hear the people at the bar. It was a playoff game and they were all worked up! I especially loved one guys rant about kicking Kelce and Mahomes out of the country and one woman saying she wouldn't kick Kelce out of her bed! The cheese fries were a frozen fry but a decent one. Shredded cheese melted on top. Not my jam (I want that nacho cheese) but they were ok. The wings: Kickin' Bourbon was my choice. Cooked well. Smothered in sauce (yes!) The sauce was thick (yes!) had a sweet and had a lightly spicy element- like a small tongue/lips tingle. Good balance. I definitely will eat here again. But... the blue cheese is deplorable! We decided to check this place out, because I LOVE wings! I have to say we were very disappointed! The service was terrible, we waited at the bar a long time before being acknowledged and it wasn't even busy. The bar tender seemed very distracted. Once we finally ordered our food took close to an hour to come out. We ordered wings with buffalo sauce and blue cheese on the side and fries. I didn't care for the buffalo sauce at all. The bar tender never came back to ask us if we liked our food. Thankfully a young woman who gave us our food checked on us after a while and told the bartender we needed a refill on our drinks. The ambiance was pretty typical for a small bar. While we were there they had a Gin Rummy night and the people taking part seemed to be having a good time. Not sure how they became runner ups for best wings. We won't be back. Too bad because it's close by and if the wings and service were good we would have been regulars. read more

I like to go for Trivia on Tuesday Nights. We usually get the boneless chicken and it is always really good. I switched it up and tried the burger with all the toppings and it was very good. It is tough to not get chicken at a chicken restaurant but the burger was definitely a hit. read more

We needed a quick bite and on a hunch we were drawn in by the sign, Wing Power! Cute place, very clean with a dedicated bar area and a big screen tv set back for viewing. Tables around the bar area and down the side. It's a little cramped but for wings and a bar it's par for the course :) We ordered lemon pepper dry rub and Jamaican jerk seasonings. The lemon pepper were really good, I'd get those again for sure. The Jamaican jerk wasn't my favorite but it was still good. We only had to wait a few minutes and they brought them out to us when they were ready. While waiting we stepped out to see the cool tiki bar outdoor seating area. If it wasn't raining that would be a great spot to enjoy some tasty wings. We'll be back to try more flavors! read more

I visited Wing Power for the 2024 Lord of the Wings competition on a busy Friday night. The place is a combination of a bar with some high top tables and more standard dining tables for parties of four or more. All told they could easily handle around 60 or so patrons at a time. The atmosphere here is very much a relaxed casual sports bar that is a favorite to the locals. There's a few large screen TV's above the bar for sports. I visited on a Friday night when the Boston Celtics were playing and the entire place was at least half focused on the game. There was some live music that evening that added to the rock n'roll party atmosphere. While I was fortunate to find an empty high top table for myself, the place was totally slammed and consequently the service was a little slower than I was hoping for. It was understandable given the circumstances. The food itself is solid. It's a bar that specializes in wings and other general pub and tavern fare. They have an entire half of their menu discarded to wings sauces, rubs and spices. I went with the second hottest sauce they offered and a chicken sandwich as well. The sandwich was solid and the wings had a great kick to them. It's a great place to come hangout for watching local sports and have some wings. If I'm feeling adventurous, I may return just to try their hottest wings to see if I can take the heat. read more

Tried Wing Power earlier this year during the RI Food Fights wing challenge. Great spot you've likely driven by and never stopped into since it's just by the lights on route 44 and Apple Valley. Decided to swing in there today as I was looking for a 'lite' bite to eat. I've had their wings before and those are great but today went with 8 pieces of their Chicken Chunks, which are nice plump bits of chicken breast fried and tossed in your choice of sauce. Went with the kickin' bourbon today. Easily one of the best meals I've had all week. Cooked nicely, hot and juicy on the inside with just a tad bit of crispiness from frying. Hit the spot and went well with a pair of Yuenglings. All for under $20 too. Got to remind myself to get in the place more often. read more

This chicken wing restaurant and bar offers a very limited food menu of bone-in wings, breaded tenders, chicken chunks with choices of their signature sauces including cold sweat, hot burn, hot attack, cardiac arrest, BBQ, sweet teriyaki, garlic parmesan, honey mustard, sweet red chili, kickin' bourbon, hot chipotle BBQ. I did notice they may offer sandwiches and rice bowls, but those items were crossed off the limited food menu. The bar drink offerings include 5 draft beers, bottles, cans, seltzers, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. There is seating up at the bar with flatscreen TVs and table seating. I stopped by Wing Power for takeout recently. I ordered the 10 piece breaded chicken tenders ($14.99 plus tax) with choice of sauce, served with bleu cheese or ranch and celery or carrots. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The breaded chicken tenders had a thick crunchy coating with tender boneless white meat chicken. I dipped the tenders in the cold sweat sauce (buffalo sauce with no heat) and bleu cheese dressing. I only could finish half the box and I ate the rest later on while watching Sunday football. read more

We went to Wing Power as our regular spot no longer serves wings,and we were really in the mood for them. The staff was attentive and friendly and the owner came by the table to insure we were satisfied. We started with their stuffies,which were absolutely delicious. We then ordered three different types of wings,each excellent in their own right. Their beer lost was varied and had two of our favorites on tap. Was really looking forward to trying this new establishment but was disappointed. As a wing lover we ordered 50 wings (30 buffalo, 20 teriyaki). The teriyaki were overly dressed wayyyy to much sauce and the buffalo were like none I've ever had. We order the Hot Attack and they had so much pepper on them... strange IMO and the sauce wasn't your traditional orange buffalo sauce. Not crispy either, soggy. This place is SO good. Classic Buffalo, Hot-Attack, Kickin' Bourbon, Jala-Mango, and Gochujang. We've done all three - chunks, wings and tenders and all three were perfectly done! Eat in or take out and quality stays the same. Nice little hometown spot! read more

This is the second time I tried the wings here. I specifically told them I wanted my wings extra crispy and that last time even though I ordered them crispy they were not. I told the bartender I was willing to give the wings another try. Said again that I wanted them extra crispy as I hate the skin in wings not cooked thoroughly. Once again...NOT crispy.
