Recently stopped at Laura's with Meg M and we were starving. I used to work down the street from Laura's and visited a few other times too. When I went with Meg M we were sat immediately and the server, Delaney, asked if we wanted drinks or apps, we explained we were starving and were ready to order our entrees. Delaney understood the assignment and got our food to us quick! At one point she apologized for not checking on us sooner, but really she checked on us often. She was lovely and engaging! My friend ordered the grilled chicken pesto sandwich with tots. I tried a a tot and they were crispy! I had the bang bang shrimp bowl. The shrimp and sauce on the shrimp was great and the avocado was super creamy. The rice was a little hard though, kind of like day old rice (rice I would have used to make fried rice honestly.) I wish the dish came with a side of the sauce to mix in with the other veggies and rice. While we were there I saw someone eating dessert and also saw the salmon entree. Both looked great! They also offer tons of specials throughout the week. I'll definitely be back!
It is a Bryant University staple, and a tradition to come here after move-in. (I have had 3 students here). The new location is great. Food is excellent. The wings are good. The tenderloin tip dinner (really medallions) is my go to here. My wife varies her choices from the fish tacos to wraps or burgers. All was very good. Service was great. The place is very loud, but it is a bar after all. There are a few things that could improve here greatly and are really annoying to me. First, there is no place written on the menu that a discount is offered for cash payment. My waitress never offered it. It was not until my bill came that I saw it. That is gripe #1. My second biggest issue, and it surprises me with this new location (it is not the original place I originally ate at) and a place designed by the restaurant, is the location of the wait staff stations. It is right at the entrance. Trying to be seated or leaving, especially on a busy night, you walk through all the staff working. If you are in one of the first booths, then you have the busboy staff staring at you while you eat as they stand on the wall/alley by the side porch/room. There could be a better design so it doesn't feel like people are hovering over you while you eat. I guess we were at lucky table 13. I would suggest ownership sit at that table facing the entry door and see what the experience is like. Maybe a taller panel on the end like there is dividing the bar would be helpful. I will be back. I just pay attention to the little things (maybe too much) that affect my dining experience!
While the drinks were good and the service was excellent, I unfortunately have to admit that the food was nowhere near up to par. Our server was extremely friendly, and went over the menu with us and gave us her recommendations. HOwever, they did not live up ot the hype. For food, we ordered the lobster mac and cheese, hot chicken sliders, and the chicken piccata. The sliders were dry, lobster tasted fishy and not fresh, and every part of the chicken dish was bland.
Came back the next night for the French Dip sliders. We split an order and STILL couldn't finish them. Quesadilla & Taco Salad too
The service was great and I really enjoyed the food I had the short rib risotto. Also we really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant.

It certainly exceeded our expectations! From the moment you enter, you can see that they run like a well oiled machine. Servers moved around the restaurant quickly and effortlessly taking orders, interacting with customers,delivering food to tables, and turning over tables without making it seem like you were being rushed. The diehard sports vibe and lively atmosphere added a unique vitality to our dining experience. To top it off, the extensive menu made it easy to select a meal, and the food was outstanding! The drinks were fun, and the prices were very reasonable. This place lives up to the hype! We will be back.
One of my favorite local restaurants. Laura's has great specials throughout the week taco Tuesdays three dollar tacos literally can't beat that. Thursdays is 50 Cent wings and the wings are so so good. I also love their daily specials. There's always something great to choose from. Their regular menu has literally everything that you could want. I've had so many things from this menu and they never disappoint. The pizza is phenomenal.
I came here for an early lunch with my bf and I ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. It was DELICIOUS and they provide very generous portions. Our waitress was very sweet and made the experience seamless. We will be back one evening for drinks
Great staff, great food! We sat at the bar, everyone was friendly and the food was hot and delicious. I had the eggplant pesto caprese and it was delicious! I love my French fries and they were piping hot, but I loved the sandwich so much I didn't even eat them!
Went here on the Sunday of labor day weekend, called ahead so no wait to be seated, drinks & food were delicious and the waitress was great too, I cant remember her name, but she was very knowledgeable of the menu & very friendly! This was my first time eating here, but I've ordered take out many times & am never disappointed!
5 stars isn't enough. My brother and I ordered two plates of nachos... then left with two boxes of nachos. Safe to say the nachos won. We both got the birria bowls, and they were absolutely amazing. Huge portions, great flavor, and amazing atmosphere, great music, not too loud. Awesome service for someone in TRAINING!?, awesome food--definitely coming back.
I don't know how I've slept on Laura's in Smithfield--what an incredible spot. We went after hiking and had originally planned on Blackie's for my wife's birthday, but they were closed, so we gave Laura's a try. Best decision! We were seated right away in a bright room with garage doors--would be beautiful on a sunny day. We ordered appetizers and they came out huge. The street corn nachos were phenomenal and gigantic, the loaded fresh-cut fries were delicious, and the eggplant sliders were perfectly cooked--you could cut them with a fork, skin and all. I treated myself to an Espresso Martini flight, and the churro martini was my favorite (the cookie and coconut ones weren't really for me). My wife ordered the peanut butter cheesecake brownie, and WOW. This thing is massive. A homemade brownie base, thick cheesecake layer, light chocolate mousse, and topped with a homemade peanut butter cup made with natural peanut butter. Absolutely delicious--worth the trip just for dessert. The staff was phenomenal, attentive and friendly. TVs all around the bar and dining room make it a great spot to catch a game, too. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Laura's. We'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area--or even worth the drive.
So I've come here a few more times since my initial review and overall it's a pretty general experience. I came for brunch this time and I was a little disappointed. On their social media you see all these creative dishes for brunch but when we arrived, there weren't any options like that. However, the food that we did have was tasty and fresh. The staff was pretty welcoming.
When Taylor S and I arrived at Laura's tonight we were starving! Our server Delaney got our orders in (and out) super fast for us and we were beyond appreciative! She was a wonderful server---friendly, helpful, personable and concerned about the allergy we mentioned. She was truly wonderful. Food was really good. It was fresh and fixed our starving problem. We also each left with half of our meal for tomorrow as portions were generous and pricing was good! The place was packed with functions and celebrations which was odd for a Monday, but good for business! We can't wait to come back for cool drinks next time! read more
A pleasant experience last night at Laura's Bar and Grill. The hostest was super nice and accommodating. She even took a picture of our group as we left. Thank you to her. Laura's has a large bar inside surrounding several large screen TVs and yesterday was football, so several different games were on. There are a lot of tables inside but it does get packed. Our server, Sara came by and took our orders and our food and drinks came out fast. I ordered the salmon on fried rice. I loved the salmon but I was just ok with the fried rice. Perhaps I'm a little biased because I spent many years in Asia. The salmon flaked with my fork and the seasoned crust tasted great. Laura's has so many fun things on their menu, including drinks and food. My friends and I enjoy the salads, sides, drinks, and more. They also have specials. The staff is friendly! The vibe of the restaurant is cute, with games playing above the bar. Sometimes the parking can be a pain, however, that is usually due to the restaurant being busy. Of all my times there, the only menu item my friends have not loved is the burger. Besides that, everything else has been good! Super cute place & fun to take friends who are visiting RI! read more

Laura's has become one of favorite restaurants. Our recent visit I didn't order my usual lobster Mac and cheese and I tried the burger. I had the build your own burger and my husband had the Cheat Day burger and they were both delicious. I also ordered a side Caesar salad so I could check if they make a good salad for next time, the salad was really good... the romaine was nice and crisp and they use a nice creamy dressing that was tossed perfectly with the romaine. We've visited quite a few times since we first tried it about 3 years ago and we're always happy with our meals (just wish they were closer!). read more

Had a great dinner Saturday night at Laura's. The place was seemingly busy, and we were quoted a wait time however we were seated much faster. Host staff was very friendly. Our server did a nice job staggering our appetizer and meals since we ordered all at once. The only downfall of the visit was that it was quite cold inside. The bus boys were quick to clear any dirty dishes from the table and all around service was great. Our meal choices were awesome and the portions were huge. Looking forward to returning to try more menu items (especially their brunch). read more

Food here is amazing with big portions. The nacho appetizer and cheese burger egg rolls go a long way with a party of four. Ordered the bbq pulled pork Mac and cheese. This was phenomenal and everything was cooked amazing. Staff very friendly and fast. Restaurant is filled with lots of sports memorabilia. Always love to eat hear, def will be back to try more off the menu. read more

I had the soup of the day Italian wedding soup to start, then the Greek salad with shrimp. So good and everything so fresh. I loved soup so much took second helping home for lunch the next day. Friend got sliders and enjoyed them. The service was nice and helpful. And the sports bar vibe is always an enjoyable atmosphere. Will be back. read more
Friendly, prompt service in a welcoming environment. Many sports bars aren't well kept, but Laura's is. The burger was juicy, which paired well with the crispy bacon and fried egg. Fries are good, but could've been a bit hotter. Overall, good experience and would recommend for a solid American meal! read more

This place is great! I've been twice now and both times were impressive. The menu is extensive and I could easily order atleast 20 things on it. Instead I've gotten the chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce and the loaded mashed potato flatbread. These were both very filling and delicious! I found the prices to be reasonable and the service to be exceedingly friendly. It's definitely a place to go and one of my new favorite spots! read more
Can't believe I haven't discovered this place until this year! Everything here is amazing. Service is always fast and attentive. They constantly have specials throughout the week. Their pasta dishes, chicken sliders, appetizers, etc are all outstanding. I would really recommend the hot chicken sliders. The pulled pork Mac and cheese really surprised me on how delicious it was. Their margaritas... killer. I encourage getting the pretzel, wings, or loaded nachos as an appetizer. Definitely a great pick when deciding where to go! read more
Me and my husband come to Laura's often and every time the service is great! It is quite loud but it's a sports bar so understandable, but it's not unbearable. We are creatures of habit and get the same wings and pizza every time or the sliders (which are amazing). This time I wanted to try the Ramen and I'm so happy I did! It was so good and it's basically perfect for two people because it's such a large portion. Would 100% recommend Laura's bar and grill for your next outing with friends or family read more
I was on a business trip and staying across the street at the Hilton hotel and was unfamiliar with the area. When I arrived I saw this restaurant across from where I was staying, and figured since it was close, I'd eat dinner there. The hostess greeted me as I walked through the door and was friendly. I looked around the restaurant and noticed it was very busy and almost to capacity. Once seated I was given a menu and had numerous choices to choose from. Since thanksgiving is only a few days away, there were some "thanksgiving" choices to choose from. I ordered the "thanksgiving sliders, thanksgiving egg rolls," and the Mashed Potatoes bowl. All were spot on!! The Turkey breast was real breast meat, not deli slices. Everything came out fresh and delicious. I'm glad I chose there to eat, no complaints. read more

Another review for Laura's !!! Whether you are a small group, large group, date or solo this place never fails. I feel like I've had a majority of their menu (drinks too) everything is always fresh, delicious and timely. As always service is impeccable- the waitresses are always so friendly and accommodating to our needs/preferences. read more
Short drive to Smithfield RI to have dinner with family. Started at Terrazza RI for their delicious white sangria and buffalo flatbread for an app. Then we made our way down the street to another favorite of ours for dinner at Laura's Bar and Grill. I had the chicken parmesan over angel hair pasta with a delcious pink sauce, the chicken was the crispiest I've had. The other dish was the seafood capaleinni that was on special. We finished with the cherry amaretto tiramisu, if your at Laura's you have to have their fin desserts that are made inhouse. read more

The food was amazing!! The hostesses were maintaining the front and very nice! Our waitress Madi is amazing! But i do think they need to upgrade there stalls.. no where to hang my bag and keys. Other than that this place is pretty cool! go check it out! read more
