Awesome in the summer thru September and reasonably priced food with generous portions!

We had a very pleasant experience with our first visit today! The pool is large and clean. There is plenty seating with tables and umbrellas. We had a lovely waitress named Brittney who was very friendly and took amazing care of us! The drinks were very good, the food was delicious and I am as picky as they come! I had a thick flame broiled burger with a grilled bun with fries and a pickle. My husband had a huge buffalo chicken calzone. It was a relaxing and enjoyable day! read more

On 8/16/26 afternoon, I hosted a RI celebration of 65+ guests under the outdoor tent at the "Last Resort" for my newly married daughter and son-in-law. Working with Nick (General Mgr) was perfect, a class act!! He paid attention to detail, gave several good suggestions based on his past experience of hosting events and provided for us a wonderful venue white table cloths and all. The servers Katy and Isabella were first rate (attentive & skilled at their jobs)! The kitchen hit it out of the park. We choose 10 items off menu (appetizers/entrees) buffet style & heard our many guest comments how great the food was! The food and drinks were good. There pool was nice. However , the music wasn't. The live band completely failed to read the 'pool'. With an adult pool full of guests in their 20s-40s, the vibe should've been fun, nostalgic, and dance-worthy. For the prices we paid, the entertainment should've matched the experience. read more

Spent one of the last real Sundays of Summer here enjoying their outdoor area and pool deck. The cabanas were great to get out of the sun when needed and to keep out stuff, as well as having somewhere to sit and eat. The Server Team working outside was great (super friendly, fast paced). My first post here because this past Sunday my husband and I saw The Senders play at The Last Resort, and it was a fantastic experience. We hadn't been since before Covid & the place was packed for the band but not at all chaotic. Our server Zach was just amazing and the owner Nick was engaged and friendly. The Last Resort must be a well kept secret, especially from families without a pool!! (I learned about this place in a RI magazine). During the summer, families with kids are welcome to use the giant pool between 11:00 am to 4:00 for ONLY $10 per swimmer. (This is an incredible deal considering country/pool clubs charge about $1,000 just for the summer season.) Adults only swim from 4:00 to 8:00. Pool toys are allowed in. The pool is Well-maintained and the environment is clean throughout. Perfect for casual social gatherings!! At least 5 gazebos are available outdoors to keep cool with comfortable deep seated chairs and loveseats, no rent fee, first come first served. There is a bar, pizza parlor, and restaurant inside. Waiters/waitresses may take your order while you're outside. Fun, lively music is always playing from their huge stage by the pool. DJ's play music Fridays & weekends. Tons of Adirondack chairs and tables with umbrellas outside, huge inside dining area. Volleyball net towards the opposite side from the outdoor stage. The food at the restaurant is fresh and decent tasting. We ordered calamari, fish & chips, pizza, and a pound of fries. The fries are made of freshly cut potatoes with the skin on, served with garlic mayo. Bottled condiments (ketchup, relish, etc) in a storage caddy is brought to your table along with your food. I liked that a pitcher of iced water was also provided. Our waitress was very attentive and thoughtful (thank you!). No outside food or drinks allowed. Huge Parking lot. A fundraiser with live music performed on their indoor stage took place here last winter. The indoor dining hall is huge. Excellent venue for pool parties, catching some sun/swimming here instead of the beach, and fundraisers!! read more

I went there for a nice band that was playing that night called, "Brass Attack."0 Getting a drink at the inside bar was kind of difficult so we took the advice from someone and moved to the outside Tiki Bar. My drink was pretty weak as was the second. My friend ordered the Nachos and it was good. We really didn't go there to eat. Judging from past reviews I probably wouldn't make a special trip here to eat. They do have some great bands on the weekends. They also have a beautiful pool which, I guess is utilized for day time activities. Nice bar staff at The Tiki Bar. Great band. read more

We have been waiting in a line to get in for about an hour. I'm suprised with a full outdoors space (that they aren't utilizing) they cannot let anyone in. Im disappointed in the service being provided. read more

The last resort is an amazing spot with good vibes! This was our first time going! We had gotten a cabana and due to the weather the band was moved inside. The owner gave us a reserved table and the option to either be refunded for the cabana or give us credit for how much the cabana was! The service is amazing!! Our server Alexis checked on us throughout the whole night and was excellent! The manager was also great and came to talk to us! We also ordered the nachos and they were delicious!! read more

Been here a few times and always a good time Today me and a few friends came, got charged 10 each for entree, seems fair right? Spent well over $200 on food and drinks It for warm so we decided to take a dip in the pool We were abruptly kicked out by the guy at the entrance who said it was extra, I told him I was never told that He tried to say he told me 3 times while talking down at me in a derogatory way My husband and all 3 of my friends can confirm we were never told of this never mind 3 times You'd think after spending over $300 including admission you can dip your feet in the pool on a warm day Quite frankly I never write reviews but would rather recommend a summer Sunday at McDonald's than this joke of a place read more

Went yesterday with a group of 8 and the food and service was unbeatable. Every table was full but yet no one in our group ever had an empty drink and the servers were all super nice. I live close to an hour away but would go back again just for the pulled pork tacos. read more

So this place has changed owners and themes many times over the years but remains a favorite place of mine to go. Mainly because it has an enourmous outside where you can get drinks from the bar and swim if you so desire. There is a cover charge of five dollars if you go after nine I believe so I generally try and Go before then. It makes no sense to me to pay to get in when I'm going to drop fifty bucks on drinks. They have cover bands Usually local guys and gals And it's usually decent Music. There is a good sized dance Floor if that's your thing and a ton of seating. The food is not bad it's good if You just want some pizza or a quick Burger. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have a large selection to choose From. I also love the fact That it's nearby. If Your looking for a Chill place to hang out and knock back a few drinks outdoors this is a great option. :) read more

Let me just 1st introduce you to the atmosphere.. You walk in. Rap music blaring so loud people simulating sex in the pool, twerking or whatever you wanna call it!! If you wanna go to the circus this is the place for you. I have been going to this establishment for many many many years, have not been there in 2 years and boy has it changed!! my jaw dropped used to be a lot of bikers rock and roll A very chilled nice crowd Im upset on what Disappointment this place has become.. and SHAME on the owner for allowing it!!! People go pay $20 to get in to the pool they bring their own booze we witnessed it... Pack a little lunch and stay there for the whole day for $20 why wouldn't you?? This place is alright AT BEST for a college bar. But the bouncer thinks he is in NYC. kicking people out for absolutely nothing. It's ridiculous. Our company had our annual summer picnic here and we couldn't have had a better experience! Dave, Rachel, Josh, Rob, Carl, Derek, and Michelle all took amazing care of our team! It down poured 20 minutes before the event was supposed to start, but Dave reassured me that there's always a backup plan. Their kind demeanor, attention to detail, and willingness to readjust is why our team will make this our regular outing venue! Not to mention the food and drinks were delicious. Sorry, have to reevaluate this joint based on the last experience. I ordered two burgers medium and they came out completely well done and super salty. When my waitress awkwardly asked what she should do, I mentioned I was using a coupon and felt bad asking them to remake it. She took that and ran with it. Even when she saw that I hadn't eaten more than one bit of the burger. That's not good customer service. Offer something else! We also had some coconut shrimp that were obviously pre-frozen (no biggie), but they had all the veins still in the shrimp. Yuck. For almost ten bucks, can you spring for the higher quality frozen shrimp? Yeesh. Never again, no thanks. read more

Once I noticed I called to speak to the OWNER and ask why that happened he states they put a hold on your card to make sure there is funds in the account( mind you everyone else I was with used a debit card and never got a hold on there account) he said that is there "policy" I asked why was I not aware he says IM TELLING YOU NOW. I wanted to like this place. My friend wanted a fun night out so we saw that there was a live band and headed over. We grabbed a drink at the indoor bar and headed outside. We were td that a waitress would be with us shortly. After an hour wait we asked again and we were told that due to an earlier event it would be a while longer before we would have a waitress. We gave up outside and went inside. There must have been 10 servers sitting around... not 1 could wait on us.... it was insane. We left and will not return.. get it together management!! read more

The staff at The Last Resort is fantastic. By the third time, Krystle (forgive my spelling) already new my name and my drink of choice. The waitresses took the time to come sit and chat with me while I waited for the rest of my party. They accommodate everyone even when the place is packed. That itself speaks volumes.
