Going to the punt position I went with a tuna melt. I am a fan of these so let's see what this one was like. The order came pretty quick. That's a plus. It was on two toasted slices of bread that were a little bit thicker which again was a plus. There was a good amount of tuna for the sandwich. I wish they offered a choice of cheese, but they did not. A side of french fries came along for the ride... not bad. They toss in a pickle. I like pickles.

Delaney understood the assignment and got our food to us quick! At one point she apologized for not checking on us sooner, but really she checked on us often. She was lovely and engaging! My friend ordered the grilled chicken pesto sandwich with tots. I tried a a tot and they were crispy! I had the bang bang shrimp bowl. The shrimp and sauce on the shrimp was great and the avocado was super creamy. The rice was a little hard though, kind of like day old rice (rice I would have used to make fried rice honestly.) I wish the dish came with a side of the sauce to mix in with the other veggies and rice. While we were there I saw someone eating dessert and also saw the salmon entree. Both looked great! We started with some drinks - I customized one of their cocktail options to change the liquor and it was delicious! We wanted to try one thing from each section of the menu. We started with the beets which were light and citrusy. The crackers with them were crispy and paired perfectly. We also had the carrot bread grilled cheese, which was so unique! The fried fish collars were cooked super well and perfectly salted. We also got the bratwurst which were nicely charred with some yummy, mustardy potatoes. Our favorite dish was actually dessert! It was a delicious red velvet brownie that was super decadent but perfectly balanced with the filling. Definitely don't skip the dessert menu! Overall, it was a great experience. They mentioned that they change their menu seasonally, so we will definitely be back to try different options!

Phantom Farms Brewing is a craft brewery that opened in Cumberland, Rhode Island in March 2024. It…read morewas founded by entrepreneur Jason Macari and his son-in-law Jay Neveu. Macari first worked for toy manufacturer Hasbro before launching a custom cabinetry business with another former Hasbro colleague. Today he is involved in multiple businesses. For a new venture, Macari decided to open his own brewery with Neveu, another former Hasbro employee. The partners acquired and completely renovated the circa 1872 Berkeley Mill boiler room building to house the brewery. They named it "Phantom Farms" after the Macari family's local apple orchard and bakery just down the road. Oscar Garrido and Andrea Riera, a husband-and-wife team from Chile, were hired as the head brewers. Since opening, Phantom Farms has become known for its farm-to-pint operation, its close connection to its namesake orchard, a historic taproom, and award-winning lagers. I recently visited Phantom Farms Brewing while I was in town for the day. I was scheduled to meet up with some other beer bloggers. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the restored historic building was. There was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs, indoors and outdoors, and the brewery is also family-friendly. After exploring all of the various rooms, I looked over the draught menu. There was an eclectic mix of beer styles as well as hard cider crafted with apples from the Phantom Farms Orchard. Between mingling with the other bloggers and playing some games of Biñho, I enjoyed pours of "Half Dark" (Czech Amber Lager), "Elegant Viking" (New England IPA), "Alternate Continuum" (Barrel-Aged Saison), and "Hypernova" (Barleywine). I was very impressed with everything that I tried, especially the last two. Between an excellent roster of beers, a beautiful historic space, and some excellent company, I had a really enjoyable experience at Phantom Farms and I highly recommend them to any craft beer aficionados who are visiting the area!
