    House sirloin

Highly recommend this spot for dinner and drinks! This is the house sirloin dish! All ingredients are fresh and pasta made from scratch! It's a 10/10!

Whenever I'm in town I come here at least once. It's popular, but you can always get seated. I had the Portuguese omelette this time. I've probably been here 20 times. The waitress always remembers me.

Amazing food, amazing vibe and atmosphere, darline is amazing and sweet. Very nice breakfast spot. Definitely will be back!10/10

Just went there again and thankfully they changed the salsa to a much more tolerable basic one. Apparently they don't sell enough to justify making it fresh. I get it. But try their mushroom or Mediterranean quesadilla. Delicious with the new salsa and sour cream. IMHO, probably the best pick on the breakfast menu.

perfect benedict. very reasonable. great service. beautiful renovation. CHECK IT OUT !!!!

Loved the atmosphere and the place was spotless. One of the waitresses seated us asked us if we'd like a drink and pickles with coleslaw. We said yes pickles were great. Coleslaw was very vinegary. Was not a fan of that. We both ordered half a pound of pastrami sandwiches with Swiss cheese and mustard. The pastrami was very lean and sliced very thin and that was good. But I found the pastrami lacking in flavor. I think I was expecting pastrami like they sell at Katz's deli or the old now closed Carnegie's in New York. Would come back to try other things.

The last time we visited the soup never came. It's customary for soup to come first or at least ask how you would like it. He ordered the brisket sandwich which was more like pot roast chopped not sliced, flavor was just okay. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was good, but would have preferred breakfast. They have a few breakfast items available, but I don't understand why they stop serving breakfast at 11, even on weekends. Sandwiches come with nothing, no chips fries or even bagel chips. Servers are nice, place is clean and bright. We have tried them many times especially when they were new. Not sure we'll rush back!

Although the parking lot was busy, there were still plenty of tables available inside. There is a larger dining area in the back, but we stayed in one of the booths in the area where you first walk in. It gives old school diner vibes with the red stools, yellow/tan booths, aluminum accents, and small tile floor. The menu is comprehensive as it offers breakfast and lunch, and both sweet and savory options. My friend and I both ordered the steak and eggs ($16.99 each) but I ordered my steak medium (anticipating for it to be cooked a little heavier than medium), with scrambled eggs and cheese on top, with a grilled English muffin. The food came out after about 10-15 minutes. They did have about 4 options of hot sauces we could choose from including Frank's, Tabasco, Cholula, and Sriracha - but the only right answer is Sriracha followed by Cholula. The steak was tasty and cooked exactly how I wanted it to, with a gentle sear. The home fries were delicious as they were soft, but also had bits of fried onions to enhance the flavor. The English muffin was golden, crispy, and slightly buttery. The eggs were very fluffy and the white cheese was completely melted into them which was great. The service was good, where we got everything in a timely manner, but we didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed with questions regarding our experience.

The burger was a 6/10 , fries 6/10 and the coffee bun was 5/10, the bun was definitely house made which is good but the bread they made it out of gave off white loaf bread and I just wasn't a fan. All in all meal was a 6/10 service was top tier food was sub par at best and the prices are amazing I paid around 60 bucks for the two meals and drinks plus tip .

That's probably because the owners pay them minimum wage and no one has a decency to leave them. Decent tips.. I am a server at a restaurant so I always take care of my server whenever I go out to eat. That being said, I think the food is inconsistent. Sometimes I'll order French toast and it's super dry and old sometimes cold, but I don't say anything because the server will drop it off and then run away and not check in at all. The main reason why I'm leaving this review is that the place closes at 2 o'clock can you at least open until three maybe four I mean it's a breakfast brunch spot.. 2 o'clock is way too early. I suggest opening up an hour later and closing an hour later. It would drive a lot more sales and a lot more people in just a suggestion.

Although I hear it has recently changed ownership, the Modern, retains the vibe of days gone by. In fact, it was chosen to be the first diner in the nation to be accepted on the National Register for Historic Places. It practically oozes nostalgia. I sat at the counter and ordered a chorizo special. The menu description is "Portuguese muffin layered with chourico, 2 eggs any style, onions, peppers, and melted cheese. Served with home fries." Chorizo/chourico is a staple in RI, thanks to Portuguese immigrants. It seems a little hard to find in upstate NY, where I currently live. Having lived in RI for over 20 years, it was satisfying both as current sustenance as well as a taste memory. It was also a very generous serving. I took the rest of it in a to-go container because I'm frugal/cheap like that. The atmosphere in the place is great. It wasn't a very busy Monday morning but the patrons ranged from elderly couples, to young families, to regular working Joes, to a hipster looking fella. Something for everybody. New owners, old vibe. There's magic in this place.

They have a huge selection of flavors, and every time we go in I end up standing there longer than I planned because there are so many tempting choices. It's the kind of problem every ice cream shop should have. The ice cream itself is outstanding. It's fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor without feeling overly heavy. Every flavor we've tried has been excellent, and it's easy to see why this place has developed such a loyal following. In my opinion, it's the best ice cream on the East Side. Just be prepared to wait if you're stopping by on a nice evening. The shop is fairly small inside, and it's not uncommon for the line to stretch right out the front door. Thankfully, the staff keeps things moving, and the wait has always been worth it. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ice cream and the generous portions. Parking can be a little hit or miss since it's mostly street parking, although there are a handful of spaces behind the building. Somehow we've been lucky the last few visits and managed to grab a spot right out front, even when there was a long line. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the small space and limited parking can make visiting during peak hours a little less convenient. Once you have your ice cream, though, it's hard to complain. If you're looking for fantastic homemade ice cream in Providence, Three Sisters absolutely deserves a visit. Just bring a little patience if you're going on a warm summer evening.

Unlike neighboring Massachusetts and Connecticut where credit card surcharges are entirely banned, Rhode Island allows businesses to implement them if they follow specific guidelines. Surcharge Regulations * Dual Pricing & Transparency: Rhode Island requires restaurants using credit card surcharges to provide clear signage at the point of sale. They must explicitly display dual pricing or clear notices so you understand the exact cost difference before paying. * Debit Cards are Exempt: Under federal law and card network operating rules (like Visa and Mastercard), restaurants cannot legally place a surcharge on a debit card or prepaid card. This holds true even if you ask the cashier to process your debit card "as credit" at the terminal. * Strict Caps on Fees: Surcharges cannot exceed the restaurant's actual credit card processing cost and are strictly capped by major card networks at 3% to 4%.Anything higher violates network compliance rules. * Taxes Are Separate: Do not confuse operational surcharges with mandatory state fees. Restaurants automatically add a 7% Rhode Island sales tax and a 1% local meals tax to your bill. RI Division of Taxation What to Do If You Spot an Illegal Surcharge If a restaurant surprises you with a fee that was never disclosed on the menu or signage, or tries to charge a fee on your debit card, it may be classified as an unfair or deceptive trade practice.
