Went there for first time. It was a Sunday, celebrating Father's day with my family. I don't think they take reservations so we just went at 11:30. It's located in a plaza with a lot of other businesses. Plenty of parking. The restaurant is small, less than 10 tables. Most of the tables fit 4, and as a party of 8, we had to wait around 45 minutes. The waitresses were all nice and attentive. The menu is extensive with an extra specials menu. A lot of mix of cultures, including Cape Verdean dish and Dominican dish. I ordered steak and eggs. My family had; kids plate, chicken & waffles, chicken siracha sandwich, chicken blt, Oreo waffle, another steak and eggs; and veggie omelette . Everything was delicious and well made. This place is fantastic! While it's on the smaller side we had no problem getting a table. The menu is also pretty expansive due to their impressive amount of daily specials. I had the strawberry limeade (which was delicious) and the crab cake Benedict which was to die for! The crab cake was nice and crispy, egg perfectly cooked, and the chipotle hollandaise had a nice kick to it. My significant other had the passion fruit juice and breakfast burrito- both excellent. Stopped in to get takeout this morning and so glad I saw the sign outside. Got the Elote avocado toast for my sister and a breakfast sandwich/home fries for me and they were both delicious. The lady serving my daughter and I was very nice. We got our drinks in timely manner. However after we ordered that took about an hour to get our food. A party of 4 came in after us and they got their food before we did. She told us twice that our food would be right out but it did not come right out. Once it did come out it was tasty. read more

Came here for the first time recently and had the Cuban steak sandwich. It was different than what I expected but it was pretty good . Portion sizes are big! My friend got the waffle egg sandwich and wow that was so good. Love that you can get either breakfast or lunch. Our Server was very friendly and helpful when I was undecided about what to order. It's new-ish, and clean. The food is really good: so well thought-out and prepared. It's a unique menu, so you're not getting merely run-of-the-mill dishes; but you can get the delicious basics. First time here and enjoyed it. Cute little local place. They have counter seating and a few booths. We did have to wait a few minutes which we didn't mind. It's tucked away in a little strip mall so plenty of parking. They do offer carry out if you do not want to eat inside. The prices are average and servings are good. I had two eggs,toast and home fries with side of bacon. My husband had breakfast sandwich. We both had coffee. We found the cost reasonable for the two of us before tip under $30. I ordered a pressed Cuban sandwich and I was given an over toasted and dry hoagie sandwich! I also ordered and open faced cali omelette and they didn't include the avocado. I called to express the concerns with my order and asked to return it for my money back. I was placed in hold for her to determine if I was lying about missing avocado with the person who prepared my order, and then proceeded to tell me they don't sell pressed sandwiches anymore. I explained per their menu and pictures online, they are false advertising and I was misled. She replied that their food is as is and there was nothing she can do. She asked me to call her back in 5 minutes so that she can speak with the owner to inquire on my refund request and when I called back, I was advised that since I left with my TAKE OUT order that they can't give me my money back. I asked to speak to the manager, and the person, named Sadie told me she was the manager. I asked for the owner who she confirmed denied my refund request and she stated she was out of the country and that they will not be allowing me to return my order or get a refund! I asked for the owners name and she refused to give me that information. Never again. If I could leave a negative 5 star review,I would. Accountability goes far and as a business this is not a good look! read more

Please don't waste your money or time going to this breakfast restaurant. The food is disgusting has no taste at all and it's so expensive. I asked for toast and received warm bread. Lol My husband ordered steak and it was the cheapest piece you could buy. It was actually bad and he ended up throwing up. The portions was so small.
