The service was absolutely top level -- attentive, friendly, and organized all night long. But the real star was the food. Our party of 10 all received the correct meals, which is impressive on its own, but every single dish came out hot, fresh, comforting, and packed with flavor. The lengua sudada was very tender and flavorful and the yucca was soft, with the sauce it was in giving it a really good flavor. The res apanada was a bit tough and the breading did not stick on too well, but overall the flavor was good and the breading was crispy which I enjoyed. The best part of it all was the prices. It is very affordable and you will leave full.   The bakery is inexpensive and the items I have tried and good. They do have a large parking lot and it's free. While in the area, you could visit the Slater Mill (they have tours you could sign up for) or visit the public library. One thing to note is that the GPS might bring you to their old location a couple blocks up the street, so do a little bit of research for the address beforehand.

They also serve breakfast on the weekends. The bar offers a few beers on tap and cans and mixed drinks. There is seating around the bar, table seating and booths overlooking the golf course. I took a seat up at the bar and started out with water, which was a bottle of Poland Spring ($1.50) served with a glass of ice. I ordered the Fish & Chips ($14.99 plus tax) which took about 22 minutes to come out. The plate was comprised of a large crispy deep fried beer battered cod filet, standard fries, tartar sauce, and a cup of sweet coke slaw (wet texture), malt vinegar and ketchup bottles brought over. The food was a bit greasy, but it tasted just fine. After I was done, I requested the check which was $17.69 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good filling lunch and adequate bar service.

My husband explained that it was too late, and when he pointed out that another customer who arrived after us had already been served, the cook -- despite there being three people cooking -- repeated that she "was just having eggs" after the cook had just stated, "We do the orders as they come in." If you're ordering anything beyond basic eggs, be prepared for a very long wait and a poor explanation for why others may be served ahead of you. The coffee and Coke were fine, but overpriced for what they were. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not recommend or return.
