I come here weekly. everything I try is always delicious. This past weekend indulged in cornbread pancakes paired with perfectly cooked fried chicken. The harmonious blend of flavors and great customer service always leave a lasting impression. Can't wait to go back.

First time here and enjoyed it. Cute little local place. They have counter seating and a few booths. We did have to wait a few minutes which we didn't mind. It's tucked away in a little strip mall so plenty of parking. They do offer carry out if you do not want to eat inside. The prices are average and servings are good. I had two eggs, toast and home fries with side of bacon. My husband had breakfast sandwich. We both had coffee. We found the cost reasonable for the two of us before tip under $30. Our waitress came over many times to check on us which you usually don't get in a chain restaurant. Can't wait to come back again

    Menu - PRESSED sandwiches

I ordered a pressed Cuban sandwich and I was given an over toasted and dry hoagie sandwich! I also ordered and open faced cali omelette and they didn't include the avocado. I called to express the concerns with my order and asked to return it for my money back. I was placed in hold for her to determine if I was lying about missing avocado with the person who prepared my order, and then proceeded to tell me they don't sell pressed sandwiches anymore. I explained per their menu and pictures online, they are false advertising and I was misled. She replied that their food is as is and there was nothing she can do. She asked me to call her back in 5 minutes so that she can speak with the owner to inquire on my refund request and when I called back, I was advised that since I left with my TAKE OUT order that they can't give me my money back. I asked to speak to the manager, and the person, named Sadie told me she was the manager. I asked for the owner who she confirmed denied my refund request and she stated she was out of the country and that they will not be allowing me to return my order or get a refund! I asked for the owners name and she refused to give me that information. Never again. If I could leave a negative 5 star review,I would. Accountability goes far and as a business this is not a good look!

Absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect & fresh. So happy they're on DoorDash too. My go to place from now on!

That's saying a lot because I have sampled many, many croissants. The Yum roll was melt-in-your- mouth delicious with the perfect balance of sweet with a hint of salt, crunchy around the edges and topped with a delightful creamy drizzle of caramel. The plain croissants were perfectly fluffy and flaky. The almond square was pure heaven with a deep almond flavored frangipane surrounded by crunchy layers. The bakery itself is really cute. It's a small pop-up style bakery with a cozy feel, perfect for grabbing pastries and a good coffee to start your morning or treat yourself mid-day. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the baking. It does get busy and certain items sell out, so going earlier is definitely a plus. Overall, a fantastic spot in Pawtucket for anyone who loves pastries, I'd happily recommend Butterbang to friends and visitors.

This place is massive, with lots of tables to dine in, and a bakery section. We ordered the following: Mondongo (pequeño), bandeja paisa, lengua sudada, and res apanada. The food came out in about 20 minutes. The serving sizes were a little bigger than normal (I am not complaining), every plate looked delicious, and all the plates were hot and fresh. The mondongo was tasty and had a good amount of tripe and the right thickness of the broth. I chuckled when I saw the side of banana, but honestly, it made for a good desert. The bandeja paisa brings a litte bit of everything and it all was cooked well. The lengua sudada was very tender and flavorful and the yucca was soft, with the sauce it was in giving it a really good flavor. The res apanada was a bit tough and the breading did not stick on too well, but overall the flavor was good and the breading was crispy which I enjoyed. The best part of it all was the prices. It is very affordable and you will leave full.   The bakery is inexpensive and the items I have tried and good. They do have a large parking lot and it's free. While in the area, you could visit the Slater Mill (they have tours you could sign up for) or visit the public library. One thing to note is that the GPS might bring you to their old location a couple blocks up the street, so do a little bit of research for the address beforehand.

That's probably because the owners pay them minimum wage and no one has a decency to leave them. Decent tips.. I am a server at a restaurant so I always take care of my server whenever I go out to eat. That being said, I think the food is inconsistent. Sometimes I'll order French toast and it's super dry and old sometimes cold, but I don't say anything because the server will drop it off and then run away and not check in at all. The main reason why I'm leaving this review is that the place closes at 2 o'clock can you at least open until three maybe four I mean it's a breakfast brunch spot.. 2 o'clock is way too early. I suggest opening up an hour later and closing an hour later. It would drive a lot more sales and a lot more people in just a suggestion.

When we asked about our order and questioning why there was a lady eating her meal despite arriving after us, the staff explained that she "only ordered eggs," seemingly justifying why someone who came in later was served first. After waiting with no real update, we decided to leave and paid $6.42 for a coffee and Coke. Ironically, just after paying, the cook told us our order was finally ready. My husband explained that it was too late, and when he pointed out that another customer who arrived after us had already been served, the cook -- despite there being three people cooking -- repeated that she "was just having eggs" after the cook had just stated, "We do the orders as they come in." If you're ordering anything beyond basic eggs, be prepared for a very long wait and a poor explanation for why others may be served ahead of you. The coffee and Coke were fine, but overpriced for what they were. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not recommend or return.

Loved the atmosphere and the place was spotless. One of the waitresses seated us asked us if we'd like a drink and pickles with coleslaw. We said yes pickles were great. Coleslaw was very vinegary. Was not a fan of that. We both ordered half a pound of pastrami sandwiches with Swiss cheese and mustard. The pastrami was very lean and sliced very thin and that was good. But I found the pastrami lacking in flavor. I think I was expecting pastrami like they sell at Katz's deli or the old now closed Carnegie's in New York. Would come back to try other things.

To be clear, the food isn't bad. It's perfectly edible. The problem is that it's also remarkably average, especially considering the prices they're charging. Nothing I've ordered has made me think, "I can't wait to come back for that." It's just...fine. We actually visited during opening weekend, and it was a bit of a mess. They ran out of pastrami, which is a pretty big problem for a deli that was generating so much excitement. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because opening weekends can be chaotic. Since then, we've been back several times hoping things would improve, but the experience has been largely the same. The biggest issue, aside from the food being average, is the service. It's consistently slow. I can understand waiting when a restaurant is packed, but we've experienced long waits even when there were very few customers inside. It feels like everything moves at half speed, and that's been true on multiple visits. I also think they're trying a little too hard to be Katz's Delicatessen. That's an incredibly high bar, and instead of trying to recreate that experience, I'd rather see them focus on becoming the best version of themselves. Right now, it feels like the ambition exceeds the execution. The one thing I will gladly compliment is the bagels. They've been excellent every time we've ordered them, and honestly, they're probably the strongest item on the menu. I do think there's plenty of room for improvement, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. There's clearly potential here, and I genuinely hope they find their footing because I'd love to have another great deli in the area. We'll probably give them another chance down the road, and I hope I can come back and update this review with a much more positive experience.
