A friend and I hit this little gem this morning. Upon stepping in, right off the queer o meter is a solid 10. Nice! The staff was smiling, warm and friendly. The layout is small, about 8 booths maybe?! And 4 or 5 tables. I'm sure there's a line waiting out the door on nice days. Fortunately it was a dreary cold day and we sat right away. They came by to top off coffee throughout our brunch - which is great and the coffee was good! Much better than I expect from most places. I got the steak fajita - the steak was thin slices seared perfectly with nice seasoning laying atop a nice mound of peppers and onions. The side plate of refried beans, rice and lettuce/salsa was fresh and tasty too. I prefer black beans but the refried weren't too heavy and nicely seasoned as well. I'm not sure what my friend got but it was eggs over house made tortilla chips with a green salsa (that's what it looked like to me at least) and he said it was delicious. I was too busy with mine to try it. Even though the place is small and there were some people starting to accumulate at the door waiting, we never felt rushed by staff. Which I appreciate and don't take advantage of, because well it's not how I roll. I also loved the entire menu was available at breakfast time. The prices aren't cheap average meal with a non booze beverage I'd say is about $15-20. I don't mind spending my money on good food, good service and a nicely run local establishment. This was all that and I thank you Francesca's! CHEERS!!

Food: I've been here a good amount of times. But this time I ordered the motuleno. It was yummy and I love how the tostadas added texture to the dish with the sunny side up eggs on top. The plantains were cooked perfectly and the home fries were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. My friend ordered the loaded chicken burrito and she said it was good. The portions are pretty big and We both ate everything haha. Service: Our waitress was super attentive and nice. She checked in on us often and made sure we were really hydrated. Ambiance: I love that they added booths. It really brings a nice and cozy feel to the restaurant. It's not a large location but there are a good amount of tables to eat at.

This is a small but cozy space with a few booths and some tables. The waitresses that were working the day we went for lunch were very friendly and attentive. We ordered the chicken quesadilla lunch and the steak fajitas lunch with flour tortillas. Loved that the chicken in the quesadilla was pulled / shredded making it easier to eat. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the platter came to the table sizzling! Everything tasted great and the servings sizes were very generous. They had a full cocktail menu as well as coffee, fresh juices, soda, bottled or tap water. Would definitely come here again and try more delicious menu items! Unisex bathroom was clean and well stocked.

Randomly found this place to do an office lunch, and it was great! We got breakfast burritos for 20 people and they were able to have it ready on time, first thing in the morning. The homefries were amazingly seasoned and everyone enjoyed the burritos. Would definitely come back!

We were enjoying a lazy Sunday around the house and decided to grab a late breakfast at Francesca's. It was our first time here, but after viewing their menu online, we were eager to check them out. They serve breakfast and lunch all day and incorporate both traditional American and Mexican offerings so there's something for everyone. The inside is small space with booths and tables and they even had a few 2 person tables outside. There were a few open tables when we arrived, but they turned over quickly so there was a steady stream of people coming and going throughout our time there. They were out of the quesa-birria tacos, which was the one thing that I wanted to order, so I asked our waitress for a recommendation and went with that instead. The food was tasty and the portions were generous, we will be back for more. They don't take Apple Pay and if you use a credit card there's a 3% surcharge added to your bill so bring cash if these things make a difference to you

Cute place. Chilaquiles verde and huevos rancheros were amazing. Get the homemade tortillas. Service was great too.

What a hidden gem. Very comfortable and cozy. I had the potato skillet which was a weekly special. The flavor was bursting in my mouth. Every bite was perfectly seasoned. The service was fantastic too. Looking forward to coming back with friends.

This restaurant is one of my favorites on the East Side of Providence. It's a relatively small restaurant and can fill up really quickly, but that never deters the staff from being quick and responsive to your orders. I've ordered various breakfast dishes and they're always good! I ordered the Lisboa Omlette yesterday, and it came with home fries, I chose Rye toast on the side. The omlette has chourico (Portuguese Sausage), onions, broccoli, and swiss cheese. This omlette reminded me of one that my mother used to make for me as a child, dellllllish! The prices are reasonable, staff are pleasant and they're overall a measure of consistency which is so much appreciate from their customers. I have to confess that I've only had their breakfast, so I plan on coming here soon for some of their amazing sounding lunch choices! -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

As soon as you walk in you're welcome with friendly smile. The staff was attentive and kind. The food was made fresh to order and you could tell. This wasn't my first time here and I must say they're consistent with their staff and the food they serve. Love this place.

Still a very solid choice for breakfast or lunch! I had the basic egg, bacon, toast, home fries meal but subbed out fruit for the potatoes (and don't think I was upcharged for it). The scrambled eggs were cooked on the griddle I think, so they were a tad past the "soft scrambled" phase. My toast choice was an English muffin; perfectly toasted to be nice and crispy crunchy but regrettably drowning in butter (like I turned half upside down and the plate ended up with a small butter puddle on it). Some people would adore it this way but I'm partial to a simple schmear. My dining buddy had a cheese omelet, home fries, and rye toast - toasted a beautiful warm brown and with just the right amount of butter for me, shining on the toast without running across the surface. There's been some refreshing of the interior since my last visit, and it's a bit more contemporary inside. Still with a nice, inviting, comfortable feeling. The covid-era plexiglass barriers between the booths actually added some privacy/noise reduction, so I hope they stay up. Even with Francesca's putting money into renovation and physical updates, prices are still affordable. The food quality is reliably good, with many excellent options for Latin-inspired or more traditional English/American-style breakfast and lunch.

First time at this Mexican breakfast place. It's small. I ate the huevos rancheros. I have never had it before. The refried beans were too watery from liking. It was ok but I will never get this dish again. The plantains however were delicious. I would go back and try a breakfast sandwich.

Berria Tacos with rice and beans and a little au jus for dipping...excellent!

We both ordered the Classic Smash Burger, one with cheese and one without. Unfortunately, both burgers were utterly tasteless, with virtually no seasoning detected at all. The Chomp Sauce that was supposed to elevate the burger was so sparse it barely made an appearance, leaving the burgers bland. Honestly, the bun was the best part. The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. After driving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island as a special Mother's Day treat, it ended up being a very disappointing experience, especially given the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We may have caught them on an unusually busy night, but unfortunately our meals fell far short of our expectations.

After doing some research, we came across chick'n boba, a new restaurant in town. The parking lot can fit about 15-20 cars (I am not sure if it is a shared lot with surrounding businesses), but there is also street parking. There are about 3 tables, and some high chairs facing outside for seating. The menu has about 12 different meals, appetizers, and about 12 different boba / tea options - with almost everything being under $12. Since they're still new, they did have some deals. We ordered 2 small taro milk tea with tapioca, 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, and fries, all for $24. After about 10-15 minutes we got our order. All of it was nice and hot. I liked that they wrap their sandwiches half way so you can hold it. I noticed the cheese on the chicken sandwich was not melted, and it had jalapeños to make it spicy. It would have been better if the cheese was melted and if the jalapeños were infused into the sauce. I wish there was more of the sauce it did have because it was delicious. The bun was nice and soft, and the chicken was perfectly crispy and moist. The fries were delicious and had just the right amount of salt. I did not realize until after that they have sauces on the menu (I would have ordered some for the fries). I have never liked tapioca but these were so good. They were soft and actually had a good flavor. I am used to tough and flavorless. The taro was sweet but not anything overwhelming. I would definitely come back for more.
