Would love to give this place more than 5 stars! This restaurant is beyond stunning. One of the prettiest ones I've been to in a while! It's chic, clean and beautiful! The staff is just as lovely, so from the start of our experience, we knew it was going to be good! Beverages were super tasty! Coffee and cocktails were on point from look to taste. Food was next level food! I might have to go out on a limb and say that was the best French toast ever! It was worth the drive! The eggs Benedict were amazing too! Unique and tasty! I have enjoyed this location three times and each time my son and I have ordered the same meals because we liked it so much we didn't want to try anything else! I order the chilaquiles plate($15) and for only ($4 )more I at a side or birria. All of it together is pure perfection! My nine year old orders the "egg-ceptional" breakfast ($14) with a 1 side chocolate chip pancake($5) . He never leaves anything on the plate! He loves it that much. I've stopped by three times now for brunch and each time has been pretty good. Today we came in before noon and the location was pretty busy. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely. Lots of seating and I like the music that they play. You can definitely tell that this is a Latin inspired restaurant. Our waiter came over and he was pleasant as well. He was also the bartender but did well making sure all of his tables were taken care of along with the bar. I ordered a Coke and the crab cake Benedict. The significant other had the tea and chilaquiles. I really enjoyed my benefit. The chipotle hollandaise was slightly spicy but not overwhelming. Eggs were poached well, the crab cake was tasty, and the home fries were nice and crispy. No real complaints there! The chilaquiles were smaller than I thought they'd be but the significant other said he liked them. So, why 4 stars? I've been here before and while it's good some dishes don't blow me away. My friends and I went for breakfast and the entire experience was AMAZING! We first walked in and couldn't get over how beautiful the place was. Then we couldn't decide what to order because everything on the menu looked delicious. We ordered the hangover skillet, chocolate chip pancakes, and the Nutella french toast. Everything was perfect. Homemade chorizo in the skillet, and homemade cinnamon whipped cream on the pancakes and French toast????? Come on! I was disappointed that it was not busy when we went in, because this place deserves to be hyped up. We also can't forget how sweet our waiter was, consistently checking how everything was and if we needed anything else. We can't wait to go back and try at dinner time! read more

I really wanted to love it here, it was good but not great. We've come here before when it was Nathaniel's and Bistro Locale kept pretty much the same interior and decor which was pretty swanky with a few added touches of their own. Plenty of lot parking.We got there for a Tuesday night and it was completely empty. We sat at the bar and there were probably only two other tables seated the entire time we were there. The bartender was very sweet and accommodating but there was def some confusion on the wine choices available - she said things were moved around on her so my friend settled with what they have ready available. The things we really enjoyed were the nachos and the desserts. The entrees were just ok. I would def give this another shot as we enjoyed the atmosphere and I think this would be a great after work spot. read more

My husband and I ate here twice last week! We liked it so much we brought friends back for the second night. The first night I had the branzino which was super flavorful and fresh my husband had the skirt steak. you can tell everything is homemade the salsa to the guacamole! the chips are amazing. the second visit we met the owner Rocio an amazing hard working woman who shared her story and shared her recipes! we will definitely come back next year! can't wait to try more dishes! read more

Decor hasn't changed too much from when it was Nathaniel's Bistro. Seating is very comfy. On the menu, under coffee, it says to ask what the flavors are for the daily brew. When I did this, my server didn't seem to understand my question and pointed me to the specialty coffee drinks (lattes, etc.) instead. After trying to clarify twice, I gave up and just went for the more expensive dulce de leche latte, which wasn't as sweet as I was expecting but still sweeter than I actually wanted. For my brunch, I ordered the cheese biscuits that I believe came with barbacoa. This was very tasty. Although, I did notice that the server didn't ask me how I wanted my egg that comes with it. It seemed to have defaulted to over-easy even though the menu says "egg your way". Oh well. That's what I would've wanted anyway. My dining partner ordered the hot daily brew coffee, which was noticeably bitter. And the carnitas Benny. He enjoyed it. I thought it was just ok. He also asked for Tabasco and didn't get any hot sauce until near the end of his meal and it ended up being a green cholula sauce. Most of the menu items were $15, which is a bit steep for breakfast but not crazy for brunch. I would definitely order the cheddar biscuit and birria again. Maybe I should try their Bloody Mary. Will wait a few months to give them more time to settle in. Service was ultimately the downfall for us this morning and seemed apparent it was from lack of experience. read more

I immediately loved the decor and friendly atmosphere of this place! The menu had a terrific selection and I had difficulty choosing what to order. I decided on the hangover skillet which had 2 eggs (I did poached), chorizo, homefries, avocado, and cheese. I love this type of breakfast and this version was warm and satisfying. All the servers were so welcoming. They asked if it was my first time and said I should come back to try the Cuban sandwich (how did they know I love them!?). I was surprised it wasn't much more crowded. I didn't mind because I had a workshop to attend and was on a schedule. My wife and I have visited Bistro Locale a few times now for dinner. The first time was incredible, the Steak a la Parilla was one of the best steaks I've ever had with the red wine reduction. We thought we found a new gem. The 2nd time, I had the same meal but noticed a strong iron taste in the steak with less flavor but okay overall. We just went again with some friends in June and I gave the dish a third try, this time it was nowhere near the same dish, it didn't even have a wine reduction and the steak tasted cheap, overcooked and strong iron flavor. Sadly, we won't be back - the consistency and quality are not there along with smaller portions than when we first came. We understand costs are high but when your only product is food, you can't cut corners because they you lose customers all-together. We had high hopes, we might try the brunch but definitely not for dinner again. read more

It's 1:30 pm and they have 1 waiter and it feels like 1 cook. Compared to the one in Attleboro that has 4 cooks and 8 waiters. So expect sloooow service. The food on the other hand was A+ like their was somebody's grandmother was in the kitchen. Very flavorful breakfast. Bacon , scrambled eggs and the home fries were real potatoes. I was excited to try this place because it is near my house, but was unfortunately very disappointed. It seemed like everything went wrong from the start. I had made reservations for 5 for brunch on Mother's Day over the phone a week before. When we arrived, they did not have our name on the list, which was just a piece of paper with names written on it. But it ended up okay because they were not that busy and we got a table quickly. But then it took a while for anyone to come and ask for our drink order. We ordered 3 mimosas, then we realized that it would be cheaper to just get the flight of 4. When the waitress came back to take our food order (still hadn't received our drinks yet) we asked if we could change to the flight and she said no, it was already "put in". Okay. But then we waited another 20 minutes for the drinks, which we only received after we asked about them. It took about an hour for our food to come, though it wasn't very busy. The waitress didn't check on us once. I had to stop her and ask for more water. When the food came, one order was wrong. She doubted us and we literally had to show her it was the wrong ingredients. She brought it back and returned shortly with the correct order, but one of our orders still hadn't arrived. You don't bring out food until all orders are ready. So 4 of us are eating and my daughter is just watching us. I was sharing my food with her, figuring hers would be there any minute. Finally my husband had to get up and walk over to where the waitress was just standing around and ask for the food. A minute later she brought it and never once apologized for anything. Finally, I was ready to get out of there because I had just about had it. We paid the check and then asked for a box for some of the left overs. We waited and waited and saw her just standing around. Finally we got up and left without the box. The food was good, but I don't know if I'll go back because of the horrible service. read more

They substituted the turkey with avocado without even asking me if/what I wanted to substitute. (they did not tell me they were out of turkey at 2pm on a Friday...) Avocado replaces zero protein, and no new flavor with the rest of the dish. Without the turkey the sweet factor was way too much, I couldn't finish it. Visited on a Friday night around 6pm. Was warmly welcomed and immediately seated at a very comfortable table. Inside is nicely decorated with a seating area and separate bar area. The waitress was attentive and very nice. The food was Mexican, but more of an upscale / home cooked type meal. Not what you'd typically think of at a Mexican restaurant. The coffee is great, an oddly rare thing in breakfast joints in the area, the food is very fresh with lots of homemade components, from sauces to the carnitas and tortillas that make all the difference. This is a rare gem that should really undersells itself by listing itself as a breakfast place. The menu may focus on breakfast and lunch foods but the kind of fresh good foods they serve could be enjoyed any time of day. We have tried and loved many dishes from Bistro Locale but in the pictures here I have featured a recent favorite, the Huevos Rancheros.
