    Fish Taco platter

Great little spot near the airport and airport hotels. Sat right at the service window to make it easy for everyone. The fish tacos were amazing. Really nice flavor and crispness that survives the abundant sauces. And the fries accompanying them were perfect, nice and crispy as well; you could eat the tacos with abandon over the fries, the fries catch all the drippings and voila! Nachos! (probably the wrong term, why go French? )

Top Pic: Shredded Chicken Nacho Grande Bottom: Chorizo Quesadilla w/ Guac and French Fries

We had the Shredded Chicken Nacho Grande it lacked flavor could of added some sodium to it. 5.5/10 Chorizo Quesadilla had not texture felt like ground beef. 6/10

Had wanted to try this place for months. I finally stopped here for lunch, and ordered four tacos. Holy Burrito, what a mistake that was. First, they don't serve tacos on hard shells. Wait ... what!? Never heard of a taco place that doesn't have hard taco shells. As our pres sez, "C'mon, man!" So I'm forced to get them as soft tacos. I asked for ground beef, shredded cheese and lettuce ... normal stuff for any taco, right? Except, on top of the $10 for the tacos, they charged me an additional $2 for the cheese; $2 for the lettuce; and $2 for pico de gallo (which I didn't even ask for!). Talk about how to nickle and dime the customer to death. Between the tacos, a soda, tax and tip (I hate feeling obligated to tip for takeout, but it seems to be the new normal), the tab came to $23!! Used to be able to get a dinner at a nicer restaurant for that amount, not so many years ago. I was glad I was getting it to go, because the music in there was blasting. Instead, I ate in my work truck. But the worst part, besides the price gouging, was that the tacos were a bland, mushy mess. I'm not being the least bit hyperbolic when I say that Taco Bell makes way better tacos then this place. One and done, baby.

One of the best things to come to Warwick. Fresh and delicious food. Very nice staff. We ate in our first time and fell in love with the housemade salsas. They have a nice setup inside with booths and tables. You order your food at the counter and they'll bring it to your table. Great experience which left us craving more. Second time around, we ordered takeout. The food was nicely packaged and they didn't forget a thing. They even gave us little containers of the salsa, although for some reason it seemed to get even spicier!

This place is so good!!! I can't believe it isn't packed with a wait! $2 street tacos were amazing. Loved the chips and Antonio trio. Food was reasonable and well sea.

We been here a few times. The Nachos Grande was delicious. The quesadilla was super. The service is excellent. They also have nice beer and tequila selection. We will be back.

We stopped here because good star value but noticed too late that only 3 reviews. That being said, it is not a fancy place by any means and seems like as many take their food to go as eat in. Maybe more. Good quality food and decent prices but the ambiance was only decent with tables not in great shape and service was kind of slow. I wish in hindsight that we had ordered at the counter and brought the food to the table because they are not set up great for table service. The Barrio Burrito was really good. A little too much rice but still great flavor. I think that eating there cost us more because if we asked for anything it seemed to cost us. Water was bottled and did not realize that until it got to the table. Overall I would say that the food is excellent and worth it but order at the counter and I think the experience would be a little better.

In my opinion, no trip to Oakland Beach is complete without stopping at Iggy's Doughboys & Chowder…read moreHouse. It's become a tradition for us. We usually have dinner next door at the restaurant, and before heading home we walk over to Iggy's to grab a box of fresh doughboys to take with us. Somehow there's always room for doughboys. One of the things I appreciate most is the consistency. It doesn't seem to matter how busy they are, the doughboys are almost always fresh out of the fryer. They're light, golden brown, and cooked just right. I've never had one that was burnt, greasy, or raw in the middle. They strike a nice balance between having a crisp exterior and a soft, fluffy center, and they're generously dusted with enough sugar to satisfy a sweet tooth without making a complete mess. The menu has plenty of classic Rhode Island favorites if you're looking for chowder, clam cakes, or other seafood, but for us it's always about the doughboys. They've become part of the ritual whenever we're at Oakland Beach, and it's one tradition we don't plan on changing anytime soon. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because this place is incredibly popular, especially during the warmer months. Depending on when you go, you may find yourself standing in line for a while. That's not necessarily a knock on the business because a busy restaurant usually says something about its reputation, but it's worth knowing if you're in a hurry. The prices are fair, the staff keeps the line moving as efficiently as they can, and the quality has remained remarkably consistent over the years. That's becoming increasingly rare. If you're spending the day at Oakland Beach and leave without stopping at Iggy's for doughboys, I think you're missing out on one of the area's best traditions. We'll definitely keep coming back.

Fresh clam cakes and views of the water don't get any better. So this location is right inside Oakland Beach and while there's tons of parking it can get rough to park, so prepare to walk- but it won't be that far. They have the beach parking (which they charge for, not sure when they start) or try to park in the first few lots when you enter. They also have tables outside and inside to enjoy your meal. The employees are a hit or miss on who's going to be friendly or not so that's why they lose a star. And sometimes the chowder can taste a little unseasoned. But otherwise give it a go. It's a MUST especially if you're visiting Rhode Island!

This has recently been our favorite restaurant--but after this event, it's officially the only place we will host gatherings or recommend to others. From the moment we arrived, Mike and Crystal, the owners, exceeded every expectation. Crystal, in particular, made everyone feel completely at home. She was incredibly attentive and somehow in tune with even the smallest details--down to noticing who was eating, who needed something, and who might have been missed. That level of care is rare and meant so much to our entire family. I'll admit, I went into the evening a little nervous because I'm very detail-oriented and like to plan everything myself. But they went so far above and beyond anything I could have anticipated. They made the entire night feel effortless. One of the many thoughtful touches that stood out was that they even put up a special 70th birthday announcement on their TV screens--such a small detail, but it made the night feel even more personal and celebrated. They also went out of their way to accommodate our only vegan guest, preparing a special dish with thoughtful modifications so that they felt just as included as everyone else. It was seamless and incredibly kind. What made the night truly unforgettable, though, was how personal everything felt. They interacted with our kids, held their hands, and treated our family like their own. It didn't feel like we were at a restaurant--it felt like we were being hosted by people who genuinely cared. I cannot thank Mike and Crystal enough for making my mother-in-law's 70th birthday such a memorable, special experience. We are beyond grateful and will be back again and again.

Let me just say that I was super impressed by the service and food at the Boardwalk Restaurant. Our party of 16 had a reservation and was seated immediately. Although the seating was a little tight, we were happy that they had made the effort to accommodate our large group. Our server was Marissa, and she was absolutely phenomenal! Marissa gave us just the right amount of attention, and was very prompt with getting water and bread on the table. She was super polite and patient with our mixed age party, and she made sure to note all of the special details in everyone's orders. Between the 16 of us, there were many cups of chowder and clamcakes ordered, as well as some baked fish, clams over linguini, fish & chips, potato skins, and a burger with fries. I only heard great comments on the food from everyone, and my potato skins, clamcakes, and Boardwalk Lemonade cocktail were all perfectly cooked, serverd, hot, and were delicious. Marissa was also super efficient with the check and everything on it was correct, which is no small feat when you have a party of 16.
