Great prices, a lot of food and full of flavor. One of the best airport rice I've had. A must visit.
the recommendations for this place did not disappoint (& thank god because we drove from Worcester for this)! We got 2 of the Brasa Tray's and it fed 4 people + a child with some leftovers to take home. The food was such a good portion for $42 a tray - we were stuffed! Our food came out so quick but luckily we did get there at a good time because shortly after, the place was filled with people. The staff were so friendly and attentive. They asked how everything was and if we needed a bag for our leftovers. There is an ample amount of tables and they have a parking lot right across the street. We will definitely be back!
Food: Wow! Everything on the brasa tray was on point! My husband and I shared because it's definitely shareable for maybe 2-3 people. We almost finished everything and I was completely stuff for the whole day. The chicken was the most tender and juiciest chicken ever! The meats were cooked perfectly. The rice and low mein was fresh and the other sides and sauces really added to the tray. I will be craving this! Service: The staff were great! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! Service was fast too. Ambiance: There's actually a decent amount of tables and seats. It's open and clean. The decor is nice. There's also a parking lot just for this spot across from the building.

Food/Drinks: The food is extremely tasty. The first time we went, we decided to get a tray and it came with so much food, way more than we expected. The price is definitely worth it. The single plates are also a great value. The quality of the food combined with the cost makes this place a top-tier grab-and-go spot. I really love the half chicken. It is so juicy and it comes with this yellow sauce that complements it perfectly. It is also nice to be able to choose from different sides like French fries, yuca, lo mein, fried rice, and more. I love having options and the generous portions make everything so worth ordering. Location: This place is great for grab and go, but you can also sit and eat there. It is very casual and honestly one of those spots where you just come to get good food without the fuss. They also have their own private parking, so you do not have to worry about finding a spot. Service: Service is quick and efficient. I usually order online so my interaction is limited, but everything is always on time and super easy to pick up.
So so good. Every time we go, we get the platter. It literally includes everything and can literally feed like 3 to 4 people.
I made a mistake by waiting so long to come here. Everything was fantastic. My wife and I split the tray and we walked away stuffed and I'm a bottomless pit (she's not far off but I'm a gentleman so I won't call her out). The tray came with noodles, rice, fried yucca, fried plantains, spare ribs, a quarter chicken, and 10oz picanha. Picanha was the star for me. Seasoned perfectly and simply. The fat was rendered, and it was cooked to a medium rare, just like I asked. Such a juicy and tender steak. They gave some chimichuri as well. I used it all up but it honestly didn't need it. The chicken was good but I wish I had been given a leg quarter instead of a breast. It was a little drier than I was hoping but no one was complaining about the thigh and leg. It wasn't "dry" but wasn't juicy. For comparison, your local Dave's or BJs breast is juicier. That aside, ribs were fall of the bone tender but held themselves together. They slap something that looked like a soy sauce mop on them before they hand you the try, wish it had a little more because some of the ribs didn't get any treatment and they would have used some more flavor. I dipped them in that mustard-like sauce they gave. That was damn good. The plantains, yucca and noodles were all nothing to scoff at either. Those noodles seemed endless. Come and you'll leave full and happy. Potentially bloated because of all the salt so stay on top of hydrating. Before you leave, don't sleep on the churros. Best I've had. Warm, crisp, pillowey inside and stuffed with dulcd de Leche. I want more now. This is a fast casual spot. We came with a crew and we're all eating within 10 minutes of getting in the joint. Looks small but they have seating for 30 or so people in there I'd guess. Don't be afraid to bring a crowd, they kept up amazingly.
I had heard very good things about this place and finally got the chance to go for dinner on a Monday night. It was around 6:30 pm and when we walked in there was a decent amount of people, but it started to clear up a couple minutes later, with lots of people just getting their food to go. We couldn't really decide what meat to get, and since this was our first time, it made sense to go with the plate that has a little bit of everything - picanha, rotisserie chicken, yucca, plantain, chaufa (rice), noodles, pork ribs, sauces, and pico de gallo/corn. For $37, it does bring a lot of food and you can easily make three plates out of it. They ask you how you want your steak cooked and after about 3 minutes, you have a plate of food. Then you can sit anywhere with your tray and at the end they come collect your plates. The food was overall good. The picanha was tender and well seasoned, with the green sauce enhancing the flavor. The rice was okay, and the noodles felt like they were missing flavor but cooked perfectly al dente. The fried yucca was good and the plantains were perfectly ripe. The ribs were moist and flavorful, but the chicken was better as it was salty and moist. The place was well decorated for the holidays, but their normal style is cool, with two walls of plants and their name. They have a parking lot across the street as well as side street parking.
This place was amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the people inside were too. I ended up getting a brass tray just to try a little of some of the things they had. Please do the same, you won't be disappointed! Now I didn't care too much for the sauces that accompanied the food but the food itself was amazing! Nothing and I mean nothing was bad. Everything was phenomenal. The chicken, the steak, the noodles, the rice, the ribs. Just come by and grab a tray. Highly recommend you stop by if you're visiting from out of town as was I. I would come back if I was in town again.
I came back to Brasa Y Chifa for lunch on Labor Day. Last time I came here, I ordered the Brasa Tray. This time, I ordered a protein with 3 hot sides and 1 cold side to go. I chose the 1/2 Rack Baby Back Ribs with Chaufa rice, lo mein, fried yucca, and corn salsa for $19.00. My husband had the Picana with Chaufa rice, wok veggies, fried yucca, and corn salsa for $23.00. We also got The Tres Leches for $8.00. Everything was packaged very well. When we got home, all the food was still very hot and no spills. The Baby Back Ribs fell right off the bone again and just melts in your mouth. The Chaufa rice, lo mein, fried yucca, and corn salsa were also very delicious. The Tres Leches was also very good, it was very light and airy. I couldn't finish all the food in one seating and saved a lot for another meal. Brasa Y Chifa is a great option for Peruvian rotisserie and Chinese fusion food in Providence, RI.
My first time ordering takeout from there. I think the food was really good. Meat cooked to perfection. The Peruvian Chinese fusion was definitely different. I've never had that before; maybe next time I'll try eating inside. I'll also go in and see what the atmosphere is like.
Oh, girrrrrrl. There's nothing I don't like about this place. Everything I tried was delicious! There's a sangria on a spigot, Tres Leches to die for, some sort of magical green dippy sauce then I would pour over everything... And that's before I even get to the food. I have a good old classic of rice and beans and steak. The plantains were fried perfect. The empanadas were life-changing. I mean, they got everything going for them. The service was so attentive, I was almost embarrassed. She checked in on us so often and made sure that we were comfortable. Just wonderful! The seating area is super casual and not pretentious, so you can just come in and grab a quick lunch and whatever you're wearing, but still get a kick a$$ meal. Definitely one of my favorites in the area. Affordable too!
Let me start by saying if I could rate this 10 stars I would!! Immediately upon walking in you are given a warm welcome by the staff and can browse their menu. This space is cute and chic. First time here it was obvious we needed to try the Brasa tray for only $38!! It comes with a quarter Chicken, Pork Ribs (6oz) and Picaña served with chaufa rice, lo mein, fried yucca and pico de gallo, everything is out of this world, packed with flavor & spice!! Wow, this place is incredible! The portions they provide for the price is amazing. I got the 1/4 chicken with chaufa rice, plaintains, yucca fries and pico de gallo for $17. My apartment is 10 minutes away and I barely made it home as I almost had to dig in because it was making my car smell so good. The chicken was very juicy and everything else was just as delicious, especially the little sauce that they provided. What a great place, great staff, and great food. I ordered the Brasa Tray that came with ribs, chicken, picana, fried rice, and lo main for $38. They give you a side of chimichurri and another sauce that gives a vibrant flare to every bite. This is definitely enough for at least 2 people. For those of you that like spice, they do put jalapeño on the side so you can add it to what ever you want. They have hot sauce and other condiments at a separate table that you can help yourself to. There are also take out containers there for your leftovers. I like the way they set the restaurant up, you go to the counter and order your food just like going to a school cafeteria. First time at this place and the service was really good. Woman behind the desk knew it was my first time, she was nice and walked me through the options of what I could order. I ended up getting the steak plate with rice, yuca fries and veggies. Wish they had a combo plate, I would've added the chicken to that. I got the steak medium but you can get it whatever cook temp you want. Good portion sizs was given and the steak was tender and juicy. Overall, a good experience and will be back to try some of the other dishes they offer. read more
Brasa Y Chita serves up some tasty Peruvian and Chinese fusion. It's like eating at two restaurants in one. I ordered their Brasa Tray which included Picana Steak, ribs, rotisserie chicken, chaufa rice, lo mein, pico de gallo, and Plantains. Everything was delicious but when it comes to meats, I'm a lazy man. I want it all prepared for me. At Brasa , you're eating everything off the bone, cutting the fat off, getting your hands dirty. It's messy work. When I entered the restaurant to pick up my food, the employee behind the counter was so friendly and welcoming as he greeted me and gave me my order. I was also surprised by how spacious the inside was. I would highly recommend this place to others but for me, it's just not my type of spot. read more

So deliciousssss!! I wanted a damn good meal and that's what I got. The place is was fairly busy as in people at tables but no line to order, and I wanted to take it all to go. There were a lot of people working which I love to see - and it seemed to run like a well oiled machine. Which is probably because although it's new - it's not the owners first foray into food service. I got steak, with beans, chaufa rice (mmmmmmm!) corn and yucca fries. I added a side of chimichurri which wasn't my fav, but that's fine cause the steak was so good it wasn't needed AT ALL. The yucca fries were the best I've had - great texture and flavor. Service was amazing. The place was bright and I was a little overwhelmed with the menu at first because I didn't plan ahead but everyone was so friendly and it was easy to navigate the options. Been wanting to try brasa y chifa since they opened and i finally made it! They have a small parking lot and street parking. When you order you are able to see all the food, have choices of sides. Menu offers chicken and meats. Service is quick and everyone friendly. There are a few tables outside and more inside. Very casual places, good for a quick bite or takeout. I got 1/4 chicken, which was a good size, cooked well. With it i chose yucca fries, veggies, lo mein and a salad. Very big plate, def taking some home. Want to come back and try the picanha! read more

For at least a week straight, the Brasa Tray from Brasa y Chifa kept flooding my Instagram feed. I knew I had to feast at this new Peruvian-Chinese fusion spot STAT. Sure, I'm easily influenced, but boy did this place win my heart. The $36 dollar tray was all I could dream of. Generously composed of a 1/4 rotisserie chicken, yuca fries, plantains, aji polleria (literal liquid gold), 1/4 baby back ribs, corn salsa, lo mein, chimichurri, 10z picaña, pico de gallo and chaufa rice, I tried new and familiar flavors that reminded me of a grazing board but 1000x better. Needless to say, I was absolutely blown away. The rotisserie chicken had an incredible smoky taste while holding its moisture. The "p" in picaña stands for perfect and that's all you need to know. Personally, I felt the ribs could've used an extra push but they were still good. All the starches were super tasty, with yuca fries and lo mein being on the top of my list. The noodles weren't overly salty, most of the sides weren't, which made them pair with all the savory and well-seasoned meats very well. I pride myself in being a sauce person and cannot get enough of the aji polleria, a blend of ingredients that paired perfectly with everything on the tray. We did have to pay extra for additional cups, but it was absolutely worth it. Brasa y Chifa offers a causal atmosphere, with plenty of seating for an eatery. Also, there's ample of parking, so that's always a plus. I'd definitely recommend Brasa y Chifa for my fellow carnivores! My partner and I devoured the tray, leaving the restaurant very full and extremely happy, and we're sure you would, too! read more
Rating: 4.4 Came to try this place which i've been seeing on yelp recently due to its popularity. It's a Peruvian and asian fusion restaurant serving various meats and side dishes. We parked on street parking nearby and when we enter the building it was very busy. It's a counter style restaurant where you go up to order and pick your protein and sides. The establishment is pretty small and only has few seatings so it may be better for take out if it's too busy. I ended up getting Brasa tray because i wanted to try everything. Brasa tray contained all the meats and sides which includes their chicken, ribs, steak, fried rice, lo mein, yuca fries, plantains, corn salsa, and their sauce. The tray contained a-lot of food and was not able to finish and left some for later. Everything was pretty good but I particularly liked their meats, lo mein, and fried rice. All the meats were tender and juicy. Only downside was that chicken was bit difficult to eat because it came together with bone. I was not too crazy about the fries and plantain. A lot of fried and fatty food so be ready to get messy if you visit here. We also tried their dulce de leche churro for desert. It was good but a bit too sweet for me but my partner loved it. The service was good and quick. Overall, the place was pretty good. I will likely not get the tray but get a choice of protein and sides instead which is already plenty of food. The next victim of The Takeout Test is Brasa Y Chifa! This is when we ask the tough questions about our takeout experience: 1. Is it ready relatively quickly? - Yes! I placed my order on their website. It estimated that my order would be ready in 30 minutes, but when I arrived 20 minutes later, they were already bagging up my food. 2. Does it travel well? - Yes! The container snapped tightly closed & they also put it in a paper bag with handles. 3. Does it reheat well? - Yes! I needed to put it in the microwave for a few minutes when I got home because it had lost its heat during the car ride. It reheated just fine. 4. Is it still visually pleasing, even squished into a container? - Yes! I looked at my meal in its takeout container with hearts in my eyes. So did my cat, Bruno. See attached photo for proof. 5. Is the portion size comparable to the dine-in size? - Yes! I was actually really curious about this one, because I've dined in at Brasa Y Chifa before & the serving size was HUGE. I thought that maybe taking it to go would sacrifice the size, but it didn't. The takeout container was packed to the brim. Brasa Y Chifa definitely passed The Takeout Test. This Peruvian/Chinese fusion is some of the best food I've had this year (no hyperbole here!) & it tastes just as good in my own kitchen as it does dining in at the restaurant. Came here to try it, been awaiting for this place to open for the longest. Pros: THE FOOD! We got the half chicken with beans, lo mein, and yuca Frita. Y'all the chicken was seasoned and juicy, the beans were seasoned, the lo mein was good. And we got a side salad. Also, whatever sauce that is that comes with it the salad, omg! They have their own parking lot. It also doesn't really smell like food in there, which is nice, since it's a smaller place. Food and portions reasonably priced Cons: although the have a ramp outside, all their seating is high top seating, which isn't really inclusive. If you are okay with sitting on high seats though, they are sturdy. Will be going back to try more things! read more

If you want something different but very familiar at the same time come here highly recommend establishment. Food is full of flavor. Has an Asian flair. Ribs are amazing steak so tender Yuka french fries are to die for and a sweet plantains. Oh my Godeverything's a 10 service is great, always smiles. Very cool vibe. A great addition by the Los Andes folks. Described as "fast food dining" by some - think of it more like going to an authentic BBQ spot. You start at one end - select your main item, go down the line adding sides, etc. We were there on a weekday about 6 PM and it was packed. Great service. Lots of takeout biz but many diners. We had the 1/4 chicken and the daily special - branzino. Immense amount of sides - would recommend opting for 2 vs. 3 or ask for smaller portions. The food was swell! Brasa y Chifa is a Peruvian fusion restaurant that is served cafe-style. The 'fast casual' style means you order your food at a counter, pay, take your tray and clean up your area after finishing your meal. Despite the casual atmosphere, the food is 100% top notch, restaurant quality, with a taste and feel and portion size similar to Los Andes, yet different enough to have its own identity. The Saturday night we came here the line was almost to the door, but it moved very quickly. We waited in line maybe only 5 minutes before making our way to the ordering station, and then another 3-4 minutes through the line to pay. The portions are super generous and for most meals you choose a protein, 3 hot sides, and 1 cold side. For my meal I chose the picanha, lo mein, fried rice, wok veggies, and a side salad. Everything was fantastic. The picanha had really great flavor and was juicy. It was nice seeing it picked from the cooking rack, sliced, and put on my tray while picking my various food options. The lo mein was superb and had a ton of flavor. The fried rice was really good as well. The veggies were good but a little on the soft side. Overall everything was just right, not over or under seasoned, really good flavor. The huge portions make the price feel palatable and the quality totally makes up for the price. My girlfriend also really liked the picanha as well as her lo mein, yuca fries, and plantains. I got to try the plantains and they were so good, definitely getting those next time. Although Brasa y Chifa is described as 'counter service', we got a few offers from staff to bring food or drinks right to where we were seating, and we watched staff bring trays to other diners. We also were just about to take our trays to the self-serve cleanup area when a staff member came from behind the counter and took care of it for us. One of the owners also was walking around and checked on us, as well as many other patrons. We also got a whole chicken to go, for our meal the following day. At $19 the price seemed steep but the chicken was SO GOOD, extremely juicy and packed with so much flavor. We ended up getting 4 huge portions of the chicken. We will absolutely be back to Brasa y Chifa again soon. read more
What a great lunch we had ! The Picanha was cooked medium and we got some chaufa rice, yucca fries and sweet plantains. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the staff working in here was very friendly. A great casual restaurant with a nice Chinese fusion influence but with strong Peruvian roots. Stopped at Brasa y Chifa before a hockey game at Providence College and this is not a spot to sleep on! The atmosphere, staff and food all combined to make this restaurant a real gem! Food is ordered via a counter-service approach and the staff was friendly and helpful the entire time. The portion of food is remarkable with meats served with three hot sides and a cold side, as well. I opted for the 1/4 rotisserie chicken (all white meat) and chose rice, lo mein and plantains for my hot sides with a side salad as the cold side. The rotisserie chicken was packed with flavor and was moist and juicy. The sides were all very good and with other options like white rice, beans, fries and more, there is certainly something for everyone. Drinks were available including non-alcoholic and alcoholic in nature. The restaurant was impeccably clean and the staff checked in while eating and kept the line moving well. An excellent find and a place that I would check out again in the future and mix up the order some to try something new, as well! read more
I was surprised to hear that there was chinese peruvian food in Providence, since I've never heard of the combination before! I was immediately intrigued and decided to try it. I got the picaña with chow mein, plantains, and corn salad. My boyfriend got the ribs with fried rice, plantains, and yucca, which he quite enjoyed as well. My steak had a great cook, and the chimichurri was fresh and delicious. The plantains were also a delicious addition. This all worked quite well with the chow mein! The portion sizes were quite large, so it's great value for the price. Would definitely order from here again! read more

Fast Latin food by Los Andes. The location is warm and friendly. Decoration and look of the place is inviting. Line ordering, self service cafeteria style. Downfall is the heating method to keep the food warm. A few of the items that are kept available, looked old and cold. As I asked for my plate, I mentioned to the staff and he stated it was warm. As soon as I received the tray I took a French fry and Yuca fry to confirm his statement. Not only was it cold. Both items were dry. Told the cashier and she replaced. Overall the sides that were offered are low quality for the price being charged. Frozen fries and yuca should be a sin in a Latin location. Tried the Ribs and chicken which are accompanied by your choice of sauce. The ribs were tasty, but a little dry. The chicken was moist and flavorful, lives up to the standards of the restaurant. They also sell there famous sangrias unfortunately it's only the white for some reason. It was extremely strong and the taste I'm used to. They provide there delicious sauces but one sauce for anything they serving seems cheap. It's like a sprinkle. Overall for the price and value, I would say this is a hard pass read more
