This is a top notch bakery in Providence. We had excellent service throughout our visit and the…read moredesserts were incredible! The servers were all polite, patient, and kind. They offered to wrap our three items together or separate. The packaging was so pretty , they were a treat to open! The restaurant is stylish inside and pleasantly decorated. We took our scrumptious treats to a nearby park and savored every bite.

I attached a picture of the male staff member who forgot my order yesterday morning. I walked 15…read moreminutes from my hotel to go check out this bakery before taking my train back home. I gave this man simple instructions, I need a freezer bag and if he could pack the slices of cakes in a container that can withstand moisture from the ice because I have to travel 6 hours to bring these cakes home. He said he understood it. He offered that he will wrap the paper boxes in saran wraps. He asked me what time I am coming back and I told him that I will return in 15 minutes, I just want to walk around Federal Hill to find a take out lunch. He has my orders written down and just before I was ready to leave, he said he forgot to charge me for the freezer bag, the first thing that I asked for. So just to make it easier, I just handed him exact cash so he can ring it on the cash register by himself and I can leave. When I came back, it was more than 30 minutes, when I approached him to pick up my order, he said to me that he did not pack them yet and he told me to wait as he is packing somebody else's cake orders who seems to have a bigger order consisting of a lot of different whole cakes. I told him I have a Lyft driver coming but he said he has to take care of that customer first. This is what I am afraid of, this is why I tried to talk to people face to face for better communication and yet the service seems to still lack from this establishment. Mind you, all I ordered was 4 slices of cakes and two brownies. My order was forgotten; as soon as he realized that, he should have remedied the issue promptly. The size of my order does not justify receiving inferior service. The incompetence is very frustrating and I am refraining myself from losing my cool and I m trying my best not to create a scene, all I wanted was a better service as time is ticking and I already paid and tipped for the food and service much earlier than all these people. I was debating in my head if I should just ask for a refund but that could take just as long. I don't get a sorry and he is not hassling, he is taking his time, if he just packed mine earlier when it is not even that busy when I originally came, then there will be no issue. So I approached the other cashier who is an Asian girl and she hassled to finish fulfilling the order from her current customer and helped me, I explained to her what I mentioned to the older guy that I needed the slices of cakes protected since they are on paper boxes, and that I was told they can saran wrap it. The male staff member did not say sorry to me and was just muttering loudly to the asian girl that he totally forgot to do my order. I recommend that he needs to fulfill the prior order first before moving to the next customer so he doesn't lose track and forget. Some people belong in the back instead of dealing with customers in the front, if this person cannot focus and tends to be forgetful and disorganized, please don't put him in the front. It's infuriating. Time is money and if he doesn't understand that or cannot seem to be efficient, then he should leave the front service to the professional. The cakes, just what I thought, the moisture from the frozen ice packs I placed inside got in some parts of the paper boxes and into some parts of the cakes and brownies, the saran wrap did not work. I hope they have an option for sturdier containers to better protect the pastries inside the freezer bag that they sell. If I visit Rhode Island again, I will try out another bakery like the Madrid European Bakery & Patisserie. Pastiche may have a longer reputation for cakes, but the horrible experience leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

I'd go back just for that, but they have an awesome roomy space and a ton of other things to choose from as well. More on the scone for a second.. Flaky, buttery, salty, filling, everything about it was fantastic. Okay, the cookie. The spicy pb cookie, it was very complex, had me pondering everything I knew about peanut butter cookies with the layers of flavor and sensations. That said, it was a too hard in my opinion for a peanut butter cookie. Generally I think "soft baked" texture with pb cookies. This one was hard and crunchy. Not bad, but just threw me off a bit. Stop in, try out their food. You won't be disappointed. Took all the will power to not get this awesome looking raspberry bomb/dome tart.. Next time. Staff is awesome as well. Always Thankful for patience when I'm choosing out pastry at a bakery because it's a tough decision to make that takes time!

The outside shell and the pumpkin inside was packed with flavor. I also really enjoy the graham cracker base. My husband had the yodel ($4.00), a chocolate cake rolled with a buttercream filling and covered with chocolate and sprinkles. He enjoyed his pastry as well. Later that day, I saw Sin posted on their instagram that they were unfortunately closing the retail storefront and going back to focusing on custom cakes and speciality dessert orders. The last day the bakery will be open is Sunday, September 21st. I was so glad I was able to stop by before they closed.

My meat loving family didn't even know they were vegan. I fooled them all! Most went back for seconds too! They would not stop raving about the treats. The cake was moist, the frosting fluffy, and the cookie dough decedent. It was truly perfect and I. Any wait until my next pastry. I would certainly be ordering every chance I get. The cannolis were spot on. The shells were crunchy and the filling flavorful and the perfect amount of sweetness. In fact I enjoyed them more than Regular cannolis. If you are having an event, I'd set recommend getting your desserts from miss vegan. You will not disappointed! Vegan or not they are delicious.

I later found out it was actually grub hub by a text message and I contacted them. Insomnia cookies had the original charge cancelled and remade and delivered my order. I believe the original Order was located and redelivered or dropped off by the person they were mistakenly sent to as Several boxes arrived with my name on them. The cookies were moist, warm, and everyone raved about them! It was a wonderful way to say goodbye to an excellent nurse. There are tables and benches in the complex nearby. While the vibe was relaxed/nice, I just picked things out from the fridge to-go. A small note: I'm kind of pretty picky about baked sweets. Along with ice cream, they have cakes and cookies, and milk of the chocolate or coffee variety. I got a cow cake (no photo since I forgot), Valentine's Day cookie, and coffee milk to take home. The cow cake was good! Not too sweet, but could maybe could taste a little more chocolate. It had a creamy taste to it. The Valentine's Day cookie was really, really pretty and is more of a treat for the eyes. It's a sugar cookie, so yeah it's sweet, and was mostly buttercream (I believe it was buttercream but correct me if I'm wrong) than cookie. The coffee milk was pretty sweet, but yummy, which is surprising because I don't like coffee milk that much (sorry RI). But I would get Wright's coffee milk again. The pricing was roughly $7 for a cake slice (a box of cake really), $5 for cookie, $2 for coffee milk. I thought it was fair pricing! Overall, it's really nice having a creamery here and I would recommend coming here if you're looking to treat yourself or needing cake and/or ice cream!

Service was great and speedy!…read more The oreo (milk and cookies) ice cream was good but not great- mostly a sugary vanilla base with a little oreo in it.
