In the 10 Sims Ave. Farms Fresh RI building! Like others have said, the parking here is easy, but if you can walk, it's very walkable with the adjacent Woonasquatucket River and greenway bikepath. The service was friendly and quick. There are tables and benches in the complex nearby. While the vibe was relaxed/nice, I just picked things out from the fridge to-go. A small note: I'm kind of pretty picky about baked sweets. Along with ice cream, they have cakes and cookies, and milk of the chocolate or coffee variety. I got a cow cake (no photo since I forgot), Valentine's Day cookie, and coffee milk to take home. The cow cake was good! Not too sweet, but could maybe could taste a little more chocolate. It had a creamy taste to it. The Valentine's Day cookie was really, really pretty and is more of a treat for the eyes. It's a sugar cookie, so yeah it's sweet, and was mostly buttercream (I believe it was buttercream but correct me if I'm wrong) than cookie. The coffee milk was pretty sweet, but yummy, which is surprising because I don't like coffee milk that much (sorry RI). But I would get Wright's coffee milk again. The pricing was roughly $7 for a cake slice (a box of cake really), $5 for cookie, $2 for coffee milk. I thought it was fair pricing! Overall, it's really nice having a creamery here and I would recommend coming here if you're looking to treat yourself or needing cake and/or ice cream! read more

Service was great and speedy! The oreo (milk and cookies) ice cream was good but not great- mostly a sugary vanilla base with a little oreo in it. There's also baked goods to pick from which offers a nice alternative for family members who don't eat ice cream. It's in the Farm Fresh building where the Providence Flea is, meaning there's a plenty of parking and seating around. read more

Located in an industrial area on Sims Avenue, I had the most amazing ice cream since Japan. The ice cream was rich and creamy with an amazing mouth feel not gritty at all like some places. Who did the vanilla ice cream and it was just that vanilla ice cream like how I remember when I was growing up. Also had a Rhode Island special called coffee milk, and my wife ordered the chocolate milk which she said it was the best chocolate milk ever! The service was great. They made me feel right at home. read more

Wright's Creamery menu offers classic flavors and seasonal flavors of ice cream. I came back recently to get a pint of Cow Cake and Pumpkin Oreo ice cream. Cow Cake is light chocolate ice cream with chocolate cake and chocolate curls. Pumpkin Oreo ice cream is pumpkin spice with oreo pieces. Both are very good and have good flavor. My other favorite besides Pumpkin Oreo ice cream is the Unicorn ice cream. Unicorn ice cream is made with vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, a color swirl, and funfetti cookie and cake pieces. I do enjoy toppings in my ice cream. read more

So we came today for the annual pipe tasting event for the holidays. Everyone was very friendly and kind two girls working as well as a young man and a variety of 10 pies. You can try for the holidays and then you on the little samples and then you decide what Pie is the best pie for you or actually for anyone so we kind of really at this time we're out we didn't think it was gonna happen but we have bearing towards the blueberry pie, which is so unusual for us cause we typically are either a chocolate cream or mincemeat pie family. But this year we order the blueberry. It's a little noisy, cause it is monthly farmers market outside with lots of vendors and selling things. The store also has a full line of dairy products as well as ice cream. They have some really cool toys but especially it's not as busy as a Smithfield store but it is a really nice environment so glad we purchased the passport for $15 and came read more

My husband Jeff grew up very close to the original Wright's Dairy Farm in Northwest Rhode Island, so having this store in the Fresh Farm market in downtown Providence is a great convenience. They sell pre-packaged Ice Cream * Scooped Ice Cream * Pastries & Other Baked Goods * Milk & Cream This last time we walked in, Jeff ran into one of the owners and they chatted for a while about the changes that have happened in the past several years with Wright's. On Saturdays, anyone can come between 9a-1pm and see how the ice cream is being made...a fun activity for kids and adults alike. Delicious, creamy and rich ice cream for all to love !!! Check it out next time you are in the Farm Fresh Market. read more

Great local ice cream from local cows. They have some great options. We stumbled upon a great end of season sale. I think we got 2 pints for $5?! That's less expensive than the mass produced stuff at the grocery store! The staff was pleasant and helpful. read more

I have been a Wrights fan for years but this was my first Wrights ice cream experience. First off- beautiful shop! Love the barn doors and modern decor. Love that I can get Wrights coffee milk in Providence! Thats a huge win! The ice cream: Lots of seasonal flavors which is cool. I was immediately drawn to the egg nog but it was very nutmeg based and thats a no for me. I tried the peanut butter and compost ice creams. Nothing knocked my socks off. I want more chunks of peanut butter! Overall glad Wrights has expanded and in the ice cream game. I look forward to trying more of their flavors! read more

Great location and great ice cream! The Sims location is great because there are a few restaurants and shops around as well as a sizable parking lot. This Wrights location has scoop ice cream as well as baked goods, pints and quarts of ice cream. It is always good to check the test batch pints. They're cheaper than the standard pints and the flavors can be really exciting! On my most recent trip I tried two of the test batches while picking out a scoop flavor and both were excellent. I ended up taking home a pint of each. You can enjoyed the shared seating inside or outside at this complex if you're staying to enjoy your treat. The employees are really friendly as well. read more

The different homemade flavors are amazing. My daughter loved the apple pie flavor ice cream. My favorite is anything they make with hazelnut in it or Nutella. The portions are generous, and they have some cute barstools to sit at while you eat. But hands-down the best hot fudge I've ever had. read more

We stopped by Wrights Dairy on Memorial Day and had just missed them But the food van was open so we tried hot fudge Sundaes. I had black raspberry on a sugar cone - it was good but average. My daughter had a hot fudge sundae with cereal milk ice cream All in all good ice cream - too bad Wrights Dairy was closed as we wanted their amazing Eclairs read more

Cute little outpost of my beloved Wright's dairy. They have all of the staples plus a lot of yummy ice cream. It is cute, brightly lit and very clean. We came for the cookie stroll which was SO disappointing but luckily the Wright's treats were excellent. The cookie stroll was a bunch of tables of cookies where you could fill a box. You paid $8 for this privilege plus a small sample of ice cream, egg nog and 2 cookies. There was Santa for photos but you didn't need a ticket to take photos. I would skip that event and just go to the big Wright's if you want cookies by the pound. 5 stars for Wright's in general, negative stars for the cookie stroll. read more

Wright's is an excellent spot for high quality ice cream and other frozen treats! They have plenty of flavors and a variety of ice cream alternatives to try in their freezer. Ice cream cake, cookies, carrot cake, custards, milk, you name it! They also provide special test batch pints that include a variety of eclectic flavors if you like to be adventurous. They provide sundaes, milkshakes and cookie sandwiches with any type of ice cream that's available on their standard menu. They have auxiliary seating outside the store to eat at but very minimal seating on the inside. This latest time I got a large Tractor Tracks milkshake which was so creamy and delicious! I'll be back for more soon! read more

Ice was great. Great spot to chill with the family and friends. Service was kool, I like the fact that they sell other items as well. Enjoy

Wright's Farm ice cream and chocolate cake are delicious!! I feel so lucky to live near them.

I was very excited to be able to get good ice cream in this area. I'll make a big detour for it, but this is on my way home! I really want to like this experience more than I do - so I went twice before making my judgment. Once was during a busy time, and once at a totally dead time. Yet even though the staff was different, our experience was the same - haphazard and disorganized service, taking much longer than you'd expect or even have time for. The employees are nice (though maybe a little shy/softspoken, so you aren't sure about the answers to your questions) , but this time, we ordered 3 simple small dishes or cones with nothing on them. One person got their cone. The employee was taking money -and- scooping ice cream - we didn't know until later that other employees were indeed around. Then, another customer came in, and the same employee helping us stopped our order to take care of them. It was very odd and uncomfortable, as we stood around with one person's order melting, until the other customer was all set. We were originally the only people in the shop, so we were very surprised by how long it took for all three of us to be served. The ice cream was good as always, but it was not the best I've had from Wright's' - mine was a little icy, too. I wish there were more flavors available to-go - there were a few I would have bought. We don't think we'll be back, unfortunately. Last time, we were actually late to our next commitment, because it took so long to get only 2 similarly simple scoops of ice cream - because no one helped the one staff member who was doing everything, and because of the scattered way customers are taken care of. I don't blame the staff, but it's odd and seems wasteful. read more

I got a small chocolate milkshake, some hermit cookies, and some strawberry milk for the road. The milkshake is the best I've had outside the dairy near where I grew up in Ohio. The hermits were delicious. And I haven't ever tasted strawberry milk this good. Definitely worth a visit, and worth every penny! read more
