    Spinach pie
    Arthur S.

Great spot off the beaten path. Weiners were fresh and delicious. I ordered a spinach pie and had them add pepperoni and cheese. It was very good and I'm glad I stopped in. I ate outside at the picnic table, which was tucked away in the shade and really wasn't attended to by the looks of it. The inside wasn't to welcoming to guests, as the covid measures were still in place and the dining area was blocked off. As I was there, several happy customers came in and out quickly to grab take out. I was surprised how busy it got here. Some took it to go and some ate in there car. I opted for the unwelcoming picnic table to avoid the weiner smell in my car that seems to last for days :)

It's a very unassuming diner with little signage. We stopped here for a quick bite after berry picking across the street and it hit the spot. This little joint served up some very tasty weiners all the way. We also enjoyed a steak and cheese sandwich... crispy buttered, grilled grinder roll chock full of griddle fried shaved steak topped with cheese. It was closed for indoor dining when we were there but has a retro, original feel of what you'd expect for a local eatery. Service was friendly and prompt. Worth a visit!

The food alone had me sold on going back but unfortunately the service was very slow (long line and only 1 counter employee) and they were running out of certain items on the line during dinner time. The inside of sweet green felt clean and they have to-go bags hanging up for you if needed along with several tables go dine in. Overall, will go back to get a quick healthy meal option!

My dinner companion enjoyed the Bolognese pasta dish, and I loved every morsel of the short rib tagliatelle! For dessert we enjoyed the salted caramel gelato and the bomba spumoni. Everything we tasted was perfect! I have not enjoyed dining at the other two Fresco restaurants, in East Greenwich or, especially the lousy one in West Warwick (too noisy, cramped and lousy, unfriendly service). When you close your eyes & dream of the perfect buffalo sauce for wings, this is it. We also very much enjoyed the Loganberry BBQ with the char on the wings, not too sweet & a nice bit of heat. For the competition, they were offering three of their signature sauces I went with the 716 Mulberry. Their menu describes it as a "Buffalo Base Sauce. It's a little twist on our buffalo medium". The spice was medium in my estimation BUT I know a lot of people will find them a bit on the hot side. The base was definitely buffalo as advertised with added spices that really switched up in a nice way. They were on the salty side, but not in a bad way. I very much enjoyed their take on a traditional buffalo sauce. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. We went on a Sunday during football season so they had four screens playing the days games. They had both fountain and cooler, soft drinks and a beer selection on tap. They offer counter service and our cashier was very friendly and answered all my questions about the menu choices. This has recently been our favorite restaurant--but after this event, it's officially the only place we will host gatherings or recommend to others. From the moment we arrived, Mike and Crystal, the owners, exceeded every expectation. Crystal, in particular, made everyone feel completely at home. She was incredibly attentive and somehow in tune with even the smallest details--down to noticing who was eating, who needed something, and who might have been missed. That level of care is rare and meant so much to our entire family. I'll admit, I went into the evening a little nervous because I'm very detail-oriented and like to plan everything myself. But they went so far above and beyond anything I could have anticipated. They made the entire night feel effortless. One of the many thoughtful touches that stood out was that they even put up a special 70th birthday announcement on their TV screens--such a small detail, but it made the night feel even more personal and celebrated. They also went out of their way to accommodate our only vegan guest, preparing a special dish with thoughtful modifications so that they felt just as included as everyone else. It was seamless and incredibly kind. What made the night truly unforgettable, though, was how personal everything felt. They interacted with our kids, held their hands, and treated our family like their own. It didn't feel like we were at a restaurant--it felt like we were being hosted by people who genuinely cared. I cannot thank Mike and Crystal enough for making my mother-in-law's 70th birthday such a memorable, special experience. We are beyond grateful and will be back again and again.
