    Spinach pie
    Arthur S.

Great spot off the beaten path. Weiners were fresh and delicious. I ordered a spinach pie and had them add pepperoni and cheese. It was very good and I'm glad I stopped in. I ate outside at the picnic table, which was tucked away in the shade and really wasn't attended to by the looks of it. The inside wasn't to welcoming to guests, as the covid measures were still in place and the dining area was blocked off. As I was there, several happy customers came in and out quickly to grab take out. I was surprised how busy it got here. Some took it to go and some ate in there car. I opted for the unwelcoming picnic table to avoid the weiner smell in my car that seems to last for days :)

It's a very unassuming diner with little signage. We stopped here for a quick bite after berry picking across the street and it hit the spot. This little joint served up some very tasty weiners all the way. We also enjoyed a steak and cheese sandwich... crispy buttered, grilled grinder roll chock full of griddle fried shaved steak topped with cheese. It was closed for indoor dining when we were there but has a retro, original feel of what you'd expect for a local eatery. Service was friendly and prompt. Worth a visit!

The food alone had me sold on going back but unfortunately the service was very slow (long line and only 1 counter employee) and they were running out of certain items on the line during dinner time. The inside of sweet green felt clean and they have to-go bags hanging up for you if needed along with several tables go dine in. Overall, will go back to get a quick healthy meal option!

My dinner companion enjoyed the Bolognese pasta dish, and I loved every morsel of the short rib tagliatelle! For dessert we enjoyed the salted caramel gelato and the bomba spumoni. Everything we tasted was perfect! I have not enjoyed dining at the other two Fresco restaurants, in East Greenwich or, especially the lousy one in West Warwick (too noisy, cramped and lousy, unfriendly service). I have read good reviews about the place and it is unique in that it is Yemeni/Mediterranean. I did take out and chose the following: Okra Stew, Chicken Shawarma Over Rice Platter, and a slice of the Pistachio cake. The Okra Stew was very flavorful. I do not eat okra but my husband does, yet I tried the sauce and it was really tasty. I ended up eating a few pieces of the potatoes and carrots in the stew, just to enjoy the sauce. The Chicken Shawarma was okay--not my best order. The chicken is not dry yet the rice was very greasy for my taste. Every spoonful, I could taste the grease. It was not for me. The pistachio cake is delicate and scrumptious. Not too sweet. I might go back and try another dish but would make sure to ask that the rice not be greasy.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell there was a lot of care put into the sandwich. I normally have a pretty good stopping point and would probably only eat half of a sandwich like this, but it was so good that I literally couldn't stop myself. I ate the entire thing! I am officially stuffed now, lol, but it was 100% worth it. The Atomic was absolutely delicious, the bread was amazing, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations for my first visit. It's over-the-counter ordering, with pizzas another option, and more importantly, you can also get beer to complement your wings. -- Buffalo Wings: From the first visit, some of the best I've had in a long, long time. Not the biggest (I'd say right around average size), but they nailed every aspect, from the piercing tartness of the sauce to match the spice, to the butteriness, to the crispness of every surface, to the tender and juicy interiors on every piece. If that weren't enough, the blue cheese tipping sauce was also spectacular, with noticeable sharpness and lots of chunks of real cheese to go along with the creamy liquid. They matched the buffalo sauce nicely. -- Loganberry Wings: From the second visit, a Buffalo regional sauce mixing raspberry flavors with barbecue sauce. The result is a mix of sweet and savory in a rich, full-bodied sauce with plenty of oomph and plenty of cling. It's sweet for sure, but its barbecue sauce component cuts it and a dip into some ranch cuts it more while adding a little something. I loved the sauce. The wings, though, were a little bit smaller and a little bit dryer this time. Still very good. -- 716 Mulberry Chicken Fingers: Also from the second visit. Nothing like Chinese chicken fingers; more like a chicken tender, and more still like a chicken cutlet. Three flat pieces in the small order provided minimal thickness, but a decent amount of meat, spread out. The Mulberry sauce has a Buffalo base with some additional secret seasonings and other ingredients to change the flavor a bit. Not bad, but I think I'd go straight Buffalo next time. Tender inside, but no crispness outside. This includes fries, which were a very solid McDonald's facsimile. Notable: Easy parking in their own lot. A minimum 25-minute wait for wings, so plan accordingly. Friendly, helpful counter people. So two visits, one great, one very good. Some memorable sauces and some memorable presentations. I'll be back to see if they hit great again and get bumped to a 5.
