Nina, who was helpful and so very friendly, alerted us to the full course meal. It happened to be a Monday evening and the full meal special was meatloaf which both Hubby and I do like. It was a full course meal. I ordered a grilled cheese since I knew I would enjoy some of his meal. The grilled cheese was extremely scanty having a very small amount of cheese so I would never select that again. However, the meal itself was quite good. Salad was excellent, meatloaf, vegetable and potatoes were high is scoring too! the dessert which was a phenomenal chocolate mousse cake was perfection. Eating that was heavenly!! So his very reasonable full course meal pleased both of us and we would try that again!!

See the hostess to be seated Food is diner type items such as a full on meatloaf meal, fish entrèe, Chicken parm, as well as sandwiches, burgers, pizza, apps and dessert. Something for just about everyone. Last visit I tried the taco salad. Theirs comes with black beans and a choice of ground beef or chicken in a flour tortilla bowl loaded with lettuce, tomato and cheese. This salad is huge. Banana peppers give it a slice kick with a medium salsa and sour cream side to mix in. Exellent dinner salad option. The chicken parm meal comes with spaghetti or ziti and is a large portion. You can also get the chicken parm as a sandwich if you prefer. Breakfast, lunch and dinner service. A local non-profit hosts an annual fund raiser here: a percentage of all meals eaten on a specific day goes to the non-profit organization. The restaurant does this often with local groups. Love that community spirit. Service is always friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking in front and to the side. Restrooms are by the door, a bit older but very clean.

With a friend's band on their entertainment schedule, I found the perfect opportunity to try it out. I was looking forward to both the music and the food and while the music was amazing, my overall experience didn't quite live up to expectations. Pro: - My friends and I were able to reserve a table ahead of time, which helped secure space to enjoy the show. We had an up close and personal view, and it definitely made for an immersive experience. Cons: - The space is way too small for live bands. The band was squeezed into a corner, and the closest table was practically on top of the lead singer. The small space in front of the band may have been meant for dancing, but it blocked the path to the bathrooms and food service. It felt cramped, loud, and uncomfortable. - The pub-height tables had tall chairs that were wobbly and unstable. I'm not a big person, but even I felt like I might tip over sitting there. Plus, the layout was so tight that we all had to get up every time someone wanted to wiggle their way to the bar or the bathroom. - Our waitress disappeared for long stretches of time, and service was painfully slow. We ended up having to go up to the bar for refills between courses because no one was around to help. - The food was disappointing. I ordered the house-made tavern chips (which look like potato chips on the website) but got plain tortilla chips instead. I also had two hot weiners, and while they had all the right toppings, the flavor was all wrong. The meat sauce tasted burnt, and they were completely overloaded with celery salt. It was honestly the worst I've ever had. Others at the table felt underwhelmed with their selections as well - the quesadilla was soggy and the appetizer sampler was just okay. - The bathroom locks were unreliable. The lock on the door failed halfway through my visit, and it took several attempts to get the button to work again, which made for a pretty awkward experience. Given this visit, I'm unlikely to return. If I do, it'd have to be for a great band, and I'll definitely eat somewhere else beforehand.
