When I mentioned wanting to try coffee milk on my Rhode Island trip, my cousin recommended Eats Restaurant, and I was impressed! This place has an old-school charm with a simple menu and great prices. I ordered a mushroom burger and coffee milk to go - all for just $11.66! What a steal. The coffee milk was delicious. It reminded me of chocolate milk, though I with it wasn't served in a styrofoam cup. The mushroom burger was a solid, no-frills, greasy burger - filling and great for the price. The service was also fantastic. I ordered over the phone but ran a little late picking it up. The guy at the counter was super nice and even helped me reheat my food. Needed a decent breakfast this morning , the hotel breakfast was very unsatisfactory. Yelp pointed us to Eats. All the reviews seem to be about the wieners but we were not about to eat wieners for breakfast. Eats is quite close by our hotel so we gave it a shot. It is charming! You order and pay first then have a seat. There were a few tables of regulars, fogeys like us, who were all quite friendly. In fact one lady, a customer, refilled everyone's coffee. She even made a special trip for me for regular coffee. The food was excellent, served quickly. Fluffy French toast, crispy bacon, all well cooked. The place is immaculate. The owner took orders, cooked orders and served the orders. He is also very friendly. Highly recommend the breakfast here. read more

To be honest I felt the food was 3.5 stars, but the people behind the counter were super friendly and I like that you can get breakfast any time of the day. You order from the counter and they bring it over to you. I ordered a cheese omelette and bacon. The omelette was yummy, but you could tell it only had two eggs which is fine with me, but usually when you get an omelette out, it has 3. Might be something they should mention maybe. I don't know people expect three. Anyway the bacon was well done, which is how I like it, but it did have a weird taste to it. The inside was definitely dated, but I think that's the vibe they were going for. The bathroom smelled gross. I've been many times to eats, yesterday I went with my two grandchildren age 3 and 4!!! I felt rushed at counter when ordering, one person came in behind me and I let her go first while we decided on our order. remember I had a 3 and 4 year old with me!!! I ordered and paid kids went to a table and on the edge of the table was a glass vinegar container that was knocked over by mistake! George the owner was very upset and made it clear while cleaning. saying things like this is awful, glass everywhere, worst possible time this could happen and sighing loudly. I can not tell you how uncomfortable I felt. it was completely rude. If this is how the owner responds to mistakes, I'll take my grandkids elsewhere!!! food was just ok hot dog good. pbj sandwich on white bread and not much jelly. The $4 fries had nothing inside them, and the hot dogs were like they were already chewed like biting into mush, would be good for someone with no teeth. I was in the mood for some loaded wieners and Eats Restaurant was the place to go. The buns were steamed like they should be. The 'all the way" is the best way to go. They are generous with the toppings. we also ordered a chicken salad wrap which was very well prepared and presented. Fries were excellent also. Cute place. Has been around since 1983! I came here with my dad on a Saturday around 3pm. There was still customers there, but the place wasn't busy. When you go in, you order at the counter and then go choose a table, and they bring the food to you. All I got was a small side of fries and a coke. Service was fast and friendly. I will admit the place is kind enough outdated but they do keep it clean. The portion for my fries was great for a small. Cooked well, and had a good amount of salty flavor. Overall this place is cute, if you're in the area and you want to avoid a fast food chain, this is the place for you. read more

I used to live in Barrington and came here every couple weeks for those aaaaall the way dogs and some crispety, crunchety fries. Legit they have the fries that'll cross your eyes. The breakfast wasn't bad but a bit pricier than expected for a little hometown spot ($15 for two breakfast plates a milk and water). Simple cheese omelette and two eggs over medium with sausage. Both came with home fries and toast. The hot dogs are not hot dogs, they're wieners - they'll make a big deal about the difference. They taste like canned Vienna sausages. Saw this place on the way to Chiropractor.. Stopped in after. This place is a ( nice) zoo on Saturdays ! We ordered up front and sat down. Food came very quickly. All meat omelet for the boy with a DOG as a side.. Me sausage with two poached eggs on my wheat bread. Yummy although the sausage had huge knuckles that when thru the grinder. A quest for breakfast after staying the night in nearby Swansea mass brought us to eats. Now we had said we were going out for breakfast but the girls had other ideas when we got there.
