Today we opted for NY system weiners, fries and coffee milks. The weiners were very tasty and the meat sauce much better than that at RI weiner places we've been at. Order at the counter and they will deliver to your table. The fries were just like the ones I used to get at the beach as a kid, crisp and hot. Best weenies around! I've been getting them for over 15 years. Their sauce is perfectly balanced and not too greasy, nor are the weenies themselves. The buns are always soft and fluffy. I get them all the way with ketchup and I haven't been chased away with pitchforks for it yet. The dine-in portion of the restaurant is usually bustling, but I've always ordered to go. You watch them make your weenies right in front of you. The service is speedy, the friendly owner is always at the counter, and he has the place running like clockwork. On a recent road trip with my son..I saw the sign..... EATS, we just had to stop... We had the hot weiners all the way... they were very good (better than most). The staff was very friendly and talked to us , eventhough we were 'way out of towners'... overall very good experience.. I didn't have anything else, but it all looked decent. I can't believe that people will eat lousy stuff at the local 'big box' chain places, and not patronize a neat little corner place like this ! Been coming here for years. I live in Seekonk. Mostly you will see locals here. Family owned restaurant that serves great breakfast. If you go on Saturday either plan on waiting or getting take out. My kids love the omelette with chocolate milk. I have never had lunch here so can't comment on that. read more

So.... I think given the ratings my expectations were way, way too high for this place. So I had to rethink what I was going to say. So bare with me.... This is a great little place with a very limited breakfast menu that is focused on the basics at a pretty good price. But, this is a very 'basic' place. The kitchen is about 10' by 10' that also houses the cleaning station, so not a lot of room to be creative. So while I will not be returning, I can say if I lived in the area and was looking for my eggs, bacon in a hurry, this would fit the bill. Always passed by EATS and always wanted to try it out. Today I went in for the first time. As you step in I expected it to be smaller but it is quite big and nice clean and the smell fresh rhubarb pie in the air. I was greeted by the owner working behind the counter very nice guy, you can tell the passion he puts into his food. So we had some wieners all the way and a cheeseburger with a side fries. I don't really know how many starts are accurate. I really wanted to rate them 5 just because of how nice they are. So for customer service: 5!! I guess if I'm going to a place where the logo is a wiener I should probably try the wiener. But I didn't, instead I got a chicken sandwich that consisted of burger buns, grilled chicken, lettuce and mayo for almost $8 and a side of a very sad pasta salad. The price isn't reasonable at all, I could have gotten a much bigger sandwich elsewhere for $6. Food is delicious. Especially hot wieners. Clean and sanitary. I like the fact that you can see the kitchen and your food being prepared. All the staff is kind and courteous and makes you feel like family. Busy at times but they move very fast to get your food to you. Highly recommend for a bite to eat. read more

Don't bother. I grew up near eats, I've stopped in every so often for the past few decades. I got a Delmonico sandwich and fries... A few extras like mushrooms, peppers, cheese. Total was about $11 with no drink. Totally OK in price, if I received a decent sandwich. Unfortunately the large majority of my sandwich literally had no steak. I don't care that it's not the best ribeye sliced up in there... I don't care about the color and texture problems. But at least give me some food. I work with food measurements daily... There was literally about 2oz of meat. Left quite hungry, and I'm not a big guy. I can get a pretty proper lunch for that money. I'm happy with diners sometimes though, and was pretty disappointed in this trip. The owners are, and have always been, quite friendly and nice. Hopefully this was an exception, haven't been in the past few years. read more

Best place in this area for wieners and fries. The owner is a sweetheart. Everyone knows him it seems. I do not but he remembers me and is so polite and friendly. Gave me a free brownie once because I had to go to the bank for cash once because at the time they didn't accept credit cards. They do now. Just a great place for inexpensive diner food. read more

Visiting from Arizona. The staff is fantastically friendly, they answer any and all questions you have, they even let us try a couple of things that we were not sure about off of the menu. We ordered 11 Hot Weiners, 2 sides of fries, and 4 drinks which fed a total of 7 people and spent under $40. The food was very good and as I said prior the staff was amazing. So...my family and I went to this place because a lot of people apparantly like it so we decided to try it out. We had never been here before once, none of us. We figured that it was like any other breakfast place and we would sit down at a table and have a waiter come over...NOPE...the woman behind the counter said "oh nope, I'm gonna take your order now here, what would you like?" and we had never been there before ever so we had no idea how anything worked at this place. You think that a place that runs their restaurant like this would open with "hi welcome to Eats, have we been here before?" But nope...we felt extremally under pressure on the spot when we walked in through the door to immediately order when she didn't even give us a minute to look at the menu. We ordered 3 burgers, an ommelete, 2 orders of fries and 2 orders of onion rings, came out to near $60....for food that isn't even as good as McDonalds...the burgers were dry as a bone, and were definetely frozen patties, the onion rings were VERY greasy also, and my western omelette was probably the worst I've ever had...we all got sodas and they were incredibly flat, they need to change the CO2 in the drink fountain, and nobody refilled our drinks when they were empty...we also had a pretty good view of what I guess they call a kitchen where none of the employees were wearing gloves...pretty sure that's against health code...long story short, we won't be back and neither should anyone else...wouldn't have given them a star if yelp didn't that as a minimum. read more

We had mixed reviews of this restaurant. The family run staff is very friendly and will assist you with the menu if it's your first visit. We ordered the chicken salad club sandwich with chips, a bacon and cheese omelet with home fries, and one of their "all the way wieners". The chicken salad sandwich tasted fresh, it was full of chicken, creamy and flavorful. The omelet on the other hand was flat and I am not sure what type of bacon they used but it tasted very strange but the home fires were cooked and seasoned nicely. Their "all the way" wiener was very tasty, the chili on top was flavored perfectly and the fresh onions added some texture. If you are in the area it's worth a visit. read more

Eats is as good as it gets for what it is. Fine dining? No. Burgers, sandwiches, wieners? Yes. Prices are good, portions are large and the people who run the place are always really nice. I have had pretty much everything on the menu and it is always good and consistent. There is no reason going to any of the fast food places on Route 6 when Eats is right there.
