Going to the punt position I went with a tuna melt. I am a fan of these so let's see what this one was like. The order came pretty quick. That's a plus. It was on two toasted slices of bread that were a little bit thicker which again was a plus. There was a good amount of tuna for the sandwich. I wish they offered a choice of cheese, but they did not. A side of french fries came along for the ride... not bad. They toss in a pickle. I like pickles.

They serve light lunch and dinner fare including sandwich/burger plates, salads, soup/chowder, appetizers, loaded spuds, specials, plus fish & chips and baked cod on Fridays & Saturdays. They also serve breakfast on the weekends. The bar offers a few beers on tap and cans and mixed drinks. There is seating around the bar, table seating and booths overlooking the golf course. I took a seat up at the bar and started out with water, which was a bottle of Poland Spring ($1.50) served with a glass of ice. I ordered the Fish & Chips ($14.99 plus tax) which took about 22 minutes to come out. The plate was comprised of a large crispy deep fried beer battered cod filet, standard fries, tartar sauce, and a cup of sweet coke slaw (wet texture), malt vinegar and ketchup bottles brought over. The food was a bit greasy, but it tasted just fine. After I was done, I requested the check which was $17.69 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good filling lunch and adequate bar service.

I'd say they have about 12 different beers on top, but they do sell cans and if there's one that you want that's not on tap, they will do a "can pour" for you. They also offer flights. The beer itself was pretty good. They were a couple that we tried that didn't quite hit the mark for us in terms of depth, but still very drinkable. Nice range of ABV as well. The staff was pretty friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm & it was a little loud, but not bad considering it's a brewery. Prices on par for other breweries in the area. This spot happens to be on my way home from the office and I'm glad I stopped in. Overall the place is small, with both table dining and bar seating. My friend and I chose to sit at the bar. Meaghan was our bartender. Friendly and informative, she really knew the menu. I got garlic teriyaki wings, my friend got a double order of plain and we shared a pepperoni, half black olive pizza. The wings were huge and juicy. The sauce was so good, and they did a great job of coating the wings in a way that they were well covered but the sauce wasn't dripping off. The pizza was better than average. I had heard it described as bar pie in the local pizza Facebook group but that isn't accurate. It's got the thickness of a Greek style pizza but not baked in a pan. The pizza sauce has a nice tang to it that I prefer. It very easy to eat. Initially I thought I would be taking some pizza home for lunch the next day but before I knew it, I had polished off the wings and 6/8 of the pizza. My only criticism of the pie is I'm a stickler for a proper half and half split and the olives were on a majority of the pie instead of only half. I finished with a Snicker inspired drink created by our bartender. It's butterscotch forward in flavor and is decidedly a dessert drink. It was a lovely sweet treat to finish the meal. What I love most about the Food Fight events is having the opportunity to discover small spots like this one. Having a place to hide away from traffic on the way home from work is clutch, so I will be back sooner rather than later. I'm looking forward to the next time I stop by!

The restaurant is small (only seats 48) so reservations are recommended. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, there wasn't very many people while we were there so I'm not sure how loud it gets when busy. They have a full bar so I ordered a drink and my husband loves his craft beers and they had a few (but he always prefers if they have a beer menu so he can read the beer description). For appetizers we ordered shrimp cocktail and the meatball. The shrimp and sauce were delicious, and the meatball was HUGE (we almost could have a meal with that!!! The meatball came with lots of sauce and ricotta with 2 toasted bread slices (we devoured every bit!). For dinner we shared 2 entrees, we got the seafood casserole which came with choice of side (we picked baked potato) and a vegetable medley, and the southern fried pork chops that came with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The Chomp Sauce that was supposed to elevate the burger was so sparse it barely made an appearance, leaving the burgers bland. Honestly, the bun was the best part. The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. After driving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island as a special Mother's Day treat, it ended up being a very disappointing experience, especially given the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We may have caught them on an unusually busy night, but unfortunately our meals fell far short of our expectations.
