Portions are very generous for the price. I tried the Calamari plate with fries and fried shrimp plate with fries, came with Tartar sauce and cole slaw. Possibly the best seafood/fish market that I know of. Everything is so fresh, clean, and you can see the quality in the product they sell. The prices are not cheap but they make up for it in freshness and quality. I also love knowing I am supporting a small, locally owned business where quality and service is a top focus. If you're shopping on a budget they have a lot of more affordable options like farm raised, frozen, previously frozen, etc, which are still higher quality. Does anyone remember Johnny's Clam Spa? Greystone Fish n Chips? I've been looking for the taste of those fish n chips since then. And that was a long time ago! I believe I have found it again at Daily Catch. The store is sparklingly clean, no fishy odor. The golden crispy batter on the delicate haddock is fried just right. it is buttery without being greasy tasting and very very fresh; without all that extra uncooked batter often found under the crispyness. I've always got my seafood from markets and was told ( don't do that ) so I went here. A friend of mine comes here often and got steamers for me here and they were amazing ! So my fiancé and I come here for seafood and boy I love this place! I've been doing seafood all wrong by getting it at supermarkets! Any-who they share a parking lot with other places but plenty of parking. Walking in the bell goes off and POOF a worker comes right out and greets you right away. At first glance this place has such a variety of everything! Lobsters , clams , steamers , fish , stuffies , shrimp etc etc! And the prices are GREAT! Anthony was the young man who helped my fiancé and I and he was super patient with us , we ended up getting steamers , clams , a few stuffies and I got whole snails ( hard to find these ! ). Anthony answered all of my questions and let us know on Friday's they serve warm food , I posted a picture of their menu they serve on Friday's. My fiancé loved the stuffies he said they were the best he ever had! My steamers and clams were so good ! And my snails were perfect ! I really enjoyed my experience here and I would recommend this place to everyone. You will have a great experience by not spending too much and by getting great customer service in return! I cannot believe I've passed by this place for years and never gave it a try until today. This is an absolute gem in the middle of Greenville!!! Called in a takeout order (Fridays only!) And got a busy signal the first few times so I knew they must be good lol :) got through and the guy over the phone was SUPER friendly.. And that is huge for me. He told me 20 minutes and literally 20 minutes later as I walked in it was coming out!! My first impression of the store was wow, clean,bright and LOADED with everything sea food. It's actual heaven. Prepared food, fresh shell fish,fish,lobster you name it. They also had lemons, sauces and mixes for grab and go. Awesome. I had the scallop plate, best I ever had. I really like this place. It feels like they take a certain level of pride in their offerings. I've heard the employees say they don't serve anything they wouldn't eat and I genuinely believe it. The shrimp and scallops are really good. Better than Dave's across the street. I wasn't blown away with the fish and chips, mostly the chips but I was left wanting a little more than what they could cook up. This has been my 'Go to' for fresh seafood for many years. They offer a wide variety of the freshest seafood anywhere, as well as a nice menu of prepared take-out on Fridays. My favorite, however, is the stuffed lobster. It has become a New Year's Eve tradition and that's what drew me there recently. I stopped in December 30th and ordered myself a 2- pounder. The next day, I picked it up - all prepared in an aluminum tin, with directions written on the lid. After 45 minutes in my oven, I had the most perfect holiday meal. The stuffing was amazing, full of decent sized shrimp and tender bay scallops. Just enough bread crumbs and butter to hold it all together. As for the lobster itself, it was tender, sweet and delicious. A fitting treat to say goodbye to 2019. After several, consecutive years of ordering this, it's nice to know things haven't changed. So we decided to get fish from a "real" fish market, and seeing that we weren't happy with the one in town, we looked it up on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was a 30 minute drive, so we decided to see for our selves. We went 2 times. The first visit (early Saturday morning) we bought fresh haddock and a couple of deluxe stuffies. Took the fish home, and it was fantastic. Really fresh, and moist. The studies, which of course were home made were worth the price. The second time was on a Friday afternoon. The place was packed, with the majority of people getting take out. Due to the fact it was COVID season, and the trip back home was 30 minutes, we decided to pass, due to it being hot, and afraid of too much condensation forming in the containers, that we passed. We did order various other stuffies, along with some seafood stuffed mushrooms. Again they were great. Don't let the prices scare you. WOW I dirve to Woonsocket to the other fish and chip place thinking as many said was the best. Yeah it was good until I found "Daily Catch" Smithfield. Stopped by today, got fish & chips, scallops, smelts and clam cakes. Honestly I could not say enough as to how good everything was. Fish tender and not greasy, scallops done just right, and smelts which you cannot find at many places, were done to perfection just like Mom would make. Also grabbed a few clam cakes, not sure of their secret but they were fresh soft and plumpy with big pieces of clams. Not one bit of grease could be found. The brown paper bag they were placed in showed no signs of excess grease as many places to.
