The Lobsters were steamed perfectly and served with drawn butter. They were 1 1/4 pounders with a shell you could crack. The lobster was sweet. Delicious. See photo. The outside kitchen at their home is well equipped. Before lobsters were served, they made homemade Clam Cakes. They were perfectly cooked with crispy golden exterior and crumbly interior. Outstanding. In addition, NE and Manhattan Clam Chowders were served. My favorite is always the homemade Portuguese inspired "Stuffies" my cousin serves. She prepares them with chopped fresh Quahog clams, finely chopped red pepper, a little bread crumbs, hot sauce, and spices. Then, they are baked in the Quahog half shells. Full of clam bits, they are superior to the ones you get at seafood restaurants that are loaded with bread crumbs. She got the recipe from her Portuguese MIL.

We definitely will not be coming back. The Food: Lobster Bisque: Truly tragic and disappointing. It was essentially a bowl of flavorless orange soup with just one single, flimsy piece of lobster in it. Sticky Calamari: Completely missed the mark. The calamari itself was undercooked and served covered in a sugary mixture that lacked any depth. It was surprisingly bland despite the sauce. Raw Platters: We ordered two separate raw platters, but the kitchen combined everything onto one single platter without telling us. Because no staff member communicated this when dropping off the food, one person ate the entire platter assuming it was just theirs.
