She prepares them with chopped fresh Quahog clams, finely chopped red pepper, a little bread crumbs, hot sauce, and spices. Then, they are baked in the Quahog half shells. Full of clam bits, they are superior to the ones you get at seafood restaurants that are loaded with bread crumbs. She got the recipe from her Portuguese MIL.

I found both at Andrade's. I always shop around, and Andrade's prices were great - significantly lower than anything I could find in the area. The lobsters were properly feisty and Nick was very helpful, selecting six two-pounders for us with equal-width tails. (Important for presentation!) I remove the claws, par boil them, and add the meat to the stuffing. (An old trick I learned from Jed Hanley's Fore 'n Aft back in the day.) Although the claws' shells were thick, and actually required a hammer to crack them, I don't think I've ever gotten so much meat. I also bought a pound of peeled and deveined shrimp and a pound of excellent, fresh and sweet scallops for the stuffing. This year's result was among the best I've made. Thanks to Nick, David and all the staff at Andrade's for your help. We'll see you soon.

The location itself was nice to visit, especially being so close to the marina, but based on the quality and price of what I ordered, I personally wouldn't return. $17.99 for a medium lobster bisque was simply too expensive for what I received.

To be completely Fair, I do not buy that often. For the person that is more of an expert at fish, they might tell you that it is Perfectly Natural for a fish to smell and taste fishy. I was always taught that if a fish is too potent, there may be something wrong with it and not to eat it. I spent about $30 on a pound of small bay scallops and a pound and a half of scrod. I was unwilling to throw it away simply because it smells fishy. So we did end up baking them. The fish was perfect... Maybe I'm not used to fresh just frozen? Maybe someone could fill me in lol. I will say this staff is super friendly, and willing to talk with you about items and how to cook them. They seem super cool and down-to-earth. At the end of the day I'm just glad that I do not have to scale a fish. It may be expensive but I'm worth it.

You order at the counter when you walk in, they give you your number, and you grab a seat in the dining room while you wait for your food. It's efficient, straightforward, and keeps things moving. The staff has always been friendly, and I've never had an issue with service. Another plus is the value. The prices are very reasonable, especially these days when it feels like every restaurant meal costs twice what it did a few years ago. You get plenty of food for your money, and I've never walked away feeling disappointed. Parking is easy thanks to the large lot, which is a small thing that becomes a big thing when you're hungry and just want to get inside without circling the block looking for a spot. We usually stop in every few weeks, and that's probably the best endorsement I can give. If a restaurant keeps earning repeat visits year after year, they're doing something right.
