I found both at Andrade's. I always shop around, and Andrade's prices were great - significantly lower than anything I could find in the area. The lobsters were properly feisty and Nick was very helpful, selecting six two-pounders for us with equal-width tails. (Important for presentation!) I remove the claws, par boil them, and add the meat to the stuffing. (An old trick I learned from Jed Hanley's Fore 'n Aft back in the day.) Although the claws' shells were thick, and actually required a hammer to crack them, I don't think I've ever gotten so much meat. I also bought a pound of peeled and deveined shrimp and a pound of excellent, fresh and sweet scallops for the stuffing. This year's result was among the best I've made. Thanks to Nick, David and all the staff at Andrade's for your help. We'll see you soon.

The location itself was nice to visit, especially being so close to the marina, but based on the quality and price of what I ordered, I personally wouldn't return. $17.99 for a medium lobster bisque was simply too expensive for what I received.

The prices are very reasonable, especially these days when it feels like every restaurant meal costs twice what it did a few years ago. You get plenty of food for your money, and I've never walked away feeling disappointed. Parking is easy thanks to the large lot, which is a small thing that becomes a big thing when you're hungry and just want to get inside without circling the block looking for a spot. We usually stop in every few weeks, and that's probably the best endorsement I can give. If a restaurant keeps earning repeat visits year after year, they're doing something right. And the fact that they delivered fresh Maine lobster all the way to Northern Michigan was pretty awesome!
