Great BBQ dinner! The BBQ platter was perfect. Brisket was super tender, sausage was great, the pulled pork was the best part, and the crispy chicken was outstanding. The Carolina BBQ sauce was delicious pairing it with the chicken and pulled pork. The Mac and cheese was delicious. I think it's a must order next time too. Service was great and friendly. We stopped by on a Thursday night and it was pretty empty. Maybe 2-3 other groups were there. The set up of the restaurant was a little confusing to navigate but I'm sure on the weekends they get packed and all the spaces get filled up pretty quickly. We ordered a Backyard Platter to share as well as an order of the Pit Mac And Cheese. The Backyard Platter was insane. $67.50. 1/2 lb smoked brisket. 3/4 lb smoked pork. 1 lb hot honey chicken. 4 smoked chourico. 4 pieces of cornbread. and pickles, slaw, and bbq sauces. The meats were delicious. and those bbq sauces! So good! I definitely wish they gave more cornbread, cause you would think with all the food in this order, they would be full pieces of cornbread, but in actuality they were like half pieces of cornbread. so we felt a little shorted there unfortunately considering the cornbread was really delicious. i just wish there was more. Definitely a shared meal, and definitely on the pricier side. The pit mac and cheese was a miss for us. $16.50. we didn't add any toppings to it since the backyard platter was more than enough and sadly, for the price, we were let down. It felt overpriced for what was presented considering the dish itself was shallow and there wasn't anything that stood out. I would've easily paid maybe $9 for that but not $16.50. it felt more like what their $6 side dish would be in truth. Boundary Kitchen sits at 67 Garrity Street in Pawtucket, a low black building with a stark red stripe running across its facade. It's a pub and smokehouse that specializes in barbecue and comfort food. Two parking lots in front, and another on the side tell me that they expect to be a popular destination. The interior opens into something unexpected. A waiting area near the entrance showcases antique tables and vintage lamps, mismatched chairs that look salvaged from estate sales. The dining room stretches beyond that with shipping pallets stacked as room dividers reaching toward an exposed ceiling. Wire mesh panels glow blue above certain sections while pendant lights made from old barrels hang at different heights. Red vinyl booths line the walls. This place is built for crowds that weren't showing up yet at prime dinner time. We came here for the Detroit pizza. What arrived was something else entirely. The menu calls it a Steel Pan Pie. It was a rectangle, but it didn't have the signature burnt cheese edges. The sauce was ladled out in stripes rather than spooned on top after baking. The cheese bubbled, but it never caramelized into those dark, crispy edges that define Detroit style. The taste was fine. The sauce had good acidity, and the cheese stretched when it was hot. But the crust was the problem. It was soft and doughy in the middle, and it just didn't have the lightness, the crunch and the chew that you expect. It wasn't a Detroit pie, it was more like a mini Sicilian. The decor kept my attention longer than the food. Between those hypnotic blue lights and the general vibe, this place has a real atmosphere. The pizza might have been a miss, but the rest of the menu looked solid. The burger at the next table, for one, looked worth the drive back on its own. Boundary Kitchen missed the mark on Motor City style, but the pizza was still decent. The place itself works, and that counts for something. It's enough to make me think about going back for a burger, because I think that room is eventually going to fill up. I think I'll probably be back. read more

We decided to give this restaurant takeout a try after a few attempts of in restaurant dinning. We live close to the restaurant and my husband arrived to pick up the food before it was ready, he waited a few minutes and then left. When we opened the containers it was apparent the food was not hot and may have been sitting for some time. Firstly, the AESTHETIC of this place is *chef's kiss. There are two parking lots, and they also have a venue space as well. Various seating options, and many are size friendly. Server was Bethany, very nice and personable, she joked around with us, which we love. Now the food. Really liked the stinger chicken, and the green beans. My fries for the pork bun were extra crispy, as requested. Pork bun sandwich, good. I liked the sauce on the pickle spears, but they aren't breaded on the bottom, and the breading was coming off, they were good though. Mac n cheese does needs a lil extra something. Food is good and unique - so four stars. However, there is a serious issue with the bar. Drinks take forever to be made and come to the table. We were there on Saturday night. The place was not even close to full but yet long delays. I had a clear view of the bar and could see when our drinks were made they came right to us so it wasn't the servers fault. Great vibe, ok food. I love how big the place is, always able to just show up for a meal or if you want to plan ahead, they're on opentable. The vibe is really cool, they do a good job making a huge space seem cozy and intimate. If you're just doing cocktails there's a lounge area around the bar that has some big oversized mismatched chairs and each one's set up like a little private living room. We ate dinner at the bar. It was like watching a show, the bartenders make so many cool cocktails. I got a burger and fries which were good. I think the smash burger needs a double patty as it was a lot of bun and I also still felt a little hungry afterwards. I would add a second one if I got it again. The pizzas are now small, definitely personal pizzas which makes the $20 seem a little high especially if you add fries, now your meal was $25 for a personal small pizza. Great big place. Food was good. Service was also good. The place was an old roller rink and it reminded me of the old days when we use to go there and skate. The place needs something. It doesn't flow like a restaurant. It still feels like a roller rink only now with food. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich and I had a combo plate. Ribs and pulled pork. It was all good. The bartender made me an old fashioned. It was well made too. If you're in the area and feel like grabbing a bite it's a good place to stop in. Forget about five guys. Best burgers here. They have a brand new menu but me being the basic bitch creature of habit, had the smash burger. It's just that good. Next time I'll try something else. Cool industrial looking restaurant in Pawtucket. Their specialty are craft beers, burgers & wings ... all offered in a funky space with a large bar & tables made from pallets. There's a section with comfy lounge chairs, a backyard outdoor area, the regular dining room and the bar area. Our waitress Michelle was very nice and friendly. We got some craft beers, wings and ribs. The food was good, not outstanding, but good...the ribs were tender and meaty, the wings were not big, but not bad tasting. My adult child decided to take me out to brunch at the place of my choice. I decided on Boundary because I worked their when it was Bobby's Rollaway roller rink years ago. So glad I chose to explore a blast from the past! I'll admit it, I'm a food snob. It takes a lot to impress me or my tastebuds. Boundary's bacon flight was truly delish!! I had the eggs and ribs. Eggs are eggs but the ribs-I could have had a dozen more of those fall off the bone, super flavor ribs! And My Adult child's French toast with blackberrry jam was so fresh and refreshing! Well the first thing we noticed was the plenty of parking space. Once we got inside.. great space for gathering and more. The ambiance was fantastic, music and they have this big projector. Great if you have birthday party, or any event. Then the service was amazing. There were more people coming in.. we got our drinks.. delicious and so are the food. My stinger chicken, amazing. Our server was excellent, very personable and prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. The owners also came over and greeted us, which is always a plus. Fish Tacos were on special. The fish was perfectly fried , they had a very light batter and were not greasy. The sauce was very light sauce which enhanced the flavor and did not taste overly drenched. I feel strongly threatened by the owner, and when I posted my original review, they said they have "contacted their legal team". This is extremely troubling. I posted the review simply to warn others about the possibility of getting food poisoning. Instead of trying to fix the situation, the owner asked for medical records to "prove I actually had food poisoning". First time in here and pleasantly surprised at the layout. We didn't come for food rather a later night cocktail. There are quite a few places to sit including the bar area and lounge chairs around it. We wanted to sit outside however they were short staffed so there was no outside service. They have a nice selection of beers, cocktails and specialty drinks. We went the specialty drink direction; Harlem River and a Banana Maple Old Fashion. Both are bourbon based drinks. The Harlem River has less sweets libations in it than the banana maple so it held truer to the bourbon base. The Banana maple was good but definitely on the sweet side. A little overpowering sugar mixers which masked the bourbon taste. They have a big screen TV in back where they were playing an old black-and-white movie. Kinda cool. The staff was friendly and management stopped by to see how we were doing. We did have to order our own drinks but eventually a server came by. Came here wanting to try one of their burgers. Didn't realize they're located at the border between Pawtucket and Attleboro. The parking lot is massive. Inside, it's dimly lit, and they have a variety of seating areas. There's a regular table sitting area with a fireplace on a projector screen, an outdoor area with picnic tables, and then the bar area surrounded by couches & sofa chairs that is reminiscent of being somewhere in Vermont. I was disappointed to learn that their kitchen closed before 10 pm. I got the 'rosemary as a woman' drink which was pretty good. The bar was empty and dead by 10:30p on a Friday night. I love everything about Boundary Kitchen! So, this place is on Garritty, off of Newport Ave. You might miss it if you aren't looking! There is plenty of parking and an outdoor patio. Inside is rustic and cozy with plenty of seating and very nice bar. Staff is always welcoming and attentive. The food is ALWAYS amazing and the drinks are awesome too. This was my second time in here Friday night (around 7pm) and the bar had a robust crowd, maybe a dozen people. We opted to sit on the highback chairs but were told that there's no service there and we'd have to go to bar to order, which is no big deal, but we'd sat for about 10 minutes before figuring that out for ourselves. Some seats opened up at the bar proper so our party of 3 shifted there. We still waited probably another 7 or 8 minutes before the bartender Phil came over. Got our drink order in and got 2 Espresso Martinis and a draft beer. Bartender definitely seemed overwhelmed and struggling to keep up. He was also making drinks for table service diners too. Seems like (to me) they need two bartenders on hand. I Was going to get a 2nd draft but apparently the keg had kicked so I instead waited for my companions to finish their drinks. I really want to like this place because it's got a cool vibe, decor and layout but when I leave I feel dejected. I also think $10 is a lot for one draft beer. The smash burger was a hit (especially if you love a good bread and butter pickle). The iron skillet coffee burger was so interesting (in a good way). So searching for a place to eat.... the Bacon Flight got me! My wife and I came in for dinner last night. Boundary has great ambience and we were sat quickly. We ordered the Baxon flight for an app. Bacon was good... there was a homemade biscuit as well. Biscuit had good flavor but a bit dry. I would have loved some butter or jam with it, but the server didn't come back in time. I ordered the PB & JB Burger and my wife created her own pizza. My burger was goofed properly but all I could taste was the jam. It was a bit too sweet for me. There's wasn't much PB on it. So that was very disappointing. My wife created a bacon pizza with the Bourbon BBQ as her sauce. There wasn't much bacon or cheese on the pizza. It was just ok. I might come back to try the BBQ, and the service was friendly, but the food was just ok. read more
